What do they teach about Eliott waves btw, is there a way to use them more effectively?

The basics and more, mainly you cound the waves to spot trend for your positions. Or to spot the possible reversal too. It's all about timing, and I think just using the waves is not enough. It's better to be paired with at least one other indicator as well, and that's up to the trader. I wouldn't consider the waves to be sole source of my information when trading, it's all aobut having as much confluence (factual) that you can.
