This has nothing to do with their service but the fact they don't have half the. Com has! I am not satisfied with that fact. Wanted to order bunch of stuff but wasn't able to simpy because it was not available.

When thinking of buying some item, check amazon for reviews.
You may find it cheaper elsewhere - remember to factor in postage costs - but here on amazon you will get help on whether the item is worth buying in addition to specs and descriptions.
And amazon themselves have a great returns policy.
Used this site a couple of times. Always had good service.
I telephoned them about a problem with their site - something that didnt make sense, and still does not. Then their dance began. They found ways to put the phone down on myself, but simultaneously keep their job. What do I mean by that? Putting the phone on hold or mute indefinitely is effectively putting the phone down on the customer, but without actually putting the phone down on the customer.
In addition, I telephoned them to complain about this tactic. I spoke to a supervisor, who after I told him what had happened and what I thought about it, just said 'sorry' then proceeded to ask why I was calling. Surely I said it is obvious why I am calling, as I have just told you. But try as I might he still persisted in ignoring, and changing the subject. So I closed the account, with btw not going through a proper security screening. So anyone could call them and close any account that they happen to have the correct answers for the so-called-security-questions, as the questions are common knowledge ie name, address, postcode and email address.
I call them now from time to time just to prove how stupid they are, with ridiculous questions asking for their opinion on make believe world events. Here are two questions. The first "what do you think of president de gaul of france nuking china because china was manipulating the french currency, the franc?" The second question I have posed is "what do you think about Lee-Harvey-Oswald being able to get a gun of the black market and shooting Jesus. Do you think he should have been able to get a gun of the black market to be able to do that?". The answers are ridiculous to the extreme, and just prove how stupid these telephone staff are. I was roflmao at their attempts at answering. Very amusing.

Amazon UK charged me for 1 year Prime membership $79 on 26th Nov 2015 without notifying, and i never agreed to start or join their membership at all, they ruined my trust with my credit card information and this is an act of stealing. Their services suck, I always have to pay for shipping from different suppliers and Amazon provides nothing, delivery always 2-3 weeks like a nightmare, and now they charged me for their membership?
I am deeply disappointed with Amazon, I am posting this complaint to warn peoples watch out from Amazon. This is absolute unacceptable as a customer.
One showed up eventually... the other never did. Seller did not refund my money either. Site is ok but scammers are on there.

Amazon is very professional and is a big company but is Amazon safe and good. Short Awnser is YES! They are safer than going to a retailer shop and have warehouses all over the world in each space of our countries. They have good service and personally had no problems with it. Even are deliveries are faster than you think. All I have to say is Amazon is the right choice. Not happy - I thought amazon was cool - but I found the website has too many advertisements regarding their "prime free membership" trial - which basically forces you to sign up for a free trial and then you will get charged - I accidentally clicked start free trial while trying to process my order in check out and wasn't even given an option to say "are you sure you want to start your free trial" it was automatically started without any warning - not happy - then I tried resolving this error myself by deleting my free trial and there is no way to do this except to call customer service (they were great on the phone) but it resulted in me deleting my account because there is no way I'm sticking with a free membership trial for 30 days at the risk of being charged for it at the end even though they said it would automatically end my trial and prime membership - If they can make you start the trial in one simple click without any confirmation they should be able to let you delete that trial in one click. NOT HAPPY - website is a waste of your time - yes products are cheap and great - but you can get the same things from ebay, gumtree and many other websites. DO NOT BOTHER TO USE AMAZON - will waste your time and money.

I love Amazon, I always order something from there, recently I ordered two DVDs and they came the next day! I didn't even pay extra for next day delivery.
I also had to call them up because a product was missing from a different delivery and they sent me a replacement that arrived the next day, which made me really happy, the woman on the phone was very helpful as well

We had a laptop that was not fit for purpose and they collected it and refunded all the return postage
