* Please pull my comment from the survey I did after I closed my recent contest. Thanks!
Very valuable service. Fast sourcing of possible names that have a URL. Downsides were so many name possibilities, many of which were lousy was a big time commitment. Would have liked the chance to invite friends or experts to help me rate and rank amongst my top choices - as was, I had to do that in a google sheet. Also, two little weird pieces - I didn't realize that "names we like" in the initial survey was possible company names we already like... Thought it was names of other companies we liked. Also, I got subtle pressure from someone to tip, which felt like a social norm that wasn't clear from the get go.
Very very happy with the company name that I received from my contest winner.
I thought it went pretty well. There was a lot of names to sort through, but I think I got 2-3 that were usable.
I did get a weird personal message from Jose at the end telling me that the name I chose was "embarrassing" or something, but i don't see how you can manage idiots like that. I didn't really understand why he bothered to say anything.
This was a very enjoyable experience. The prompt response, ratings and feedback were most helpful.
Great start. Good reviews. Active volunteers! Hey they call pundits right? Like a Guru?
This website is my dream come true! I was just a few votes shy of making it into the top 3 last contest :( But I am definitely entering again. I don't know what this girl is talking about. What a sore sport.
They have kind of design competition on site and let people register as member vote for it. As a result the winner got more votes than existing members? Win by 100% I already never heard off, but this is more than a 100%? How on earth that is even possible? I just wonder what kind of vote is that? I ask them but never got the answer (maybe they are making one right now and they better because people are not stupid, they will question that very soon)
In politic it would be a FRAUD right? So it make me think why the website let the winner get away with it, only one thing i can come up with is they are working together or it actually only need one person to monitor the whole things and he just loose track and put too much votes on the winner LOL, Therefore they never have to pay for a price because the winner always themselves that way they don't even have to pay a cent for all the attention and publicity. How smart is that? Work out just like a fraud TV shows. It's a great sample of one of many great idea that should never be done! Disappointing!
