I had been looking for a 2017 Chevrolet truck for several weeks now. I had been in contact with Schmitt Chevrolet over the last several days negotiating the price on a blue 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 stock number *******, on a Friday. On the next day, Saturday I checked the online price and it was $33,607. So I contacted the dealership and spoke with both the internet sales consultant, Angela and the salesman, Brent. Brent confirmed the internet price was correct. I asked to give a deposit to buy the truck of which Brent said he would call me right back. Two hours laters I had not yet received a call so I contacted the dealership and spoke with the sales manager and was told the truck was now at $37,000+ and he would not sell the truck to me at the advertised price of $33,607. Really?
How can Schmitt Chevrolet dealership advertise a new truck for $33,607 and tell the customer " sorry the truck is now $37,000+"? I feel totally strung along on the sale and taken advantage of! Over the last 20 years I have purchased 5 GM new pick up trucks! I have never been treated like this before from a dealer. I would strongly recommend... BUYER BEWARE... stay away from this dealership! Would you want to be treated like this. It is obvious they use the old sales tactic "hook... line... sinker".
Buyer... you may consider NOT a GM automobile!
I have recently purchased Toyota Urban Cruiser from R. C. Woods. I have received great service from the start to an end, The vehicle was as described, low mileage, good condition, great value. Most importantly, the company demonstrates excellent customer service by being helpful, professional, honest providing a spotless service!
I recommend this company to everyone!
BEWARE, Auto Imports Inc. or AKA Gold Rush Remarketing sold me a Corvette with a broke motor, I got ripped off from these guys, Alex and Fred will gladly take your hard earned money and sell you anything, I was told the Corvette had no mechanical problems, 4 hours after they had my money the service engine light came on, to my horror it was only running on 7 of 8 cylinders, they flat out lied to my face! They obviously reset the codes prior to me coming; they knew I was coming for the Corvette. NO bringing it back, no trading it for something else, they dont care a sale is a sale, youre stuck like Chuck! My advice to you is buy from anyone but these guys, they will misrepresent their vehicles just to make a sale, if youre looking for a make and model go shop elsewhere unless you want ripped off, dont even drive by, youll thank me later, biggest con in Houston used cars is Alex and Fred at Gold Rush, Auto imports Inc. on the gulf freeway near Hobby airport, you have been warned, BEWARE! Shop elsewhere, youll be glad you did! They are DISHONEST!

I wanted to take some time to review about my experience at Autotrader.ca
This site attracts more serious consumers. Much better than kijiji if I may add.
My car was sold within a week.
I paid $75 to "sell" my car on autotrader.com. The car was listed for 2 months and did not receive one call or email. I was worried and was thinking of selling it to the dealer direct option that they have for thousands less. As a last resort i put the car up on craigslist. On one Monday i got 7 contacts and 2 people making offers. I am now worried that i may have put the price too low :) I called autotrader to tell them about this and they told me i was out of luck. Said the only way i could get my money back was to sell my car to one of their dealers. No results and no refund! I asked them if they could at least send the refund to craigslist as they are the ones helping me sell my car. She laughed. At least we got a good laugh. That about all i got!
Tim Criss at Carey Paul Honda Snellville, GA! I definitely recommend him and this dealership. He provides great customer service and is very helpful!
Your site and VIP service suck and people should stay away. I signed up for a normal ad. You called and had me upgrade because of your money back guarantee. So I did to the tune of $289. I write you three separate letters following your procedure to get the refund. I finally file with BBB to get your attention and you claim to never have gotten my letters. So you say I did not apply for the refund in time and deny giving it to me. Plus kicker is my ad is still up. The only calls I have ever gotten have been used car salesmen wanting to give me nothing for my car. You suck!
We had Listed our car on Autotrader to sell. After a couple of weeks with no contacts we were contacted by a Autotrader representative asking us to try their VIP service for $289, advising us if our car did not sell within a 120 days we would get a full refund. We paid the $289 and sought out their advise on ad, pictures and price. We contacted them numerous time seeking advise on why we were receiving zero contacts, following their advise each time. WE HAD ZERO CONTACTS (0) during the 120 days. We did sell our car to a local person who heard we were selling it. When we contacted Autotrader to see if they would refund our $289, we were told since we sold our car NO REFUND WAS DUE. Really!
David Wells Robert Cosgrove and Bryan in Finance@ Hendrick Toyota are the guy's to see to meet your needs, they are 100% dedicated to customer satisfaction
After I signed up and paid my $50 fee I was suppose to get 9 photos... I added only 7 and was going to add two more the next day. Then my ad dropped to only 3 photos and wanted to charge me for added photos... When I called and asked for a refund they would not refund my $50. The add only ran 1 day... Autotrader is unfair to say the least...
I paid for a premium ad for $100. My sports car is in the $40k-$50k range. I priced it within range of similar postings and added several detailed photos and very descriptive text for buyers. My car came up in search a few thousand times but I received only one legit e-mail from a dealer and then a couple spam text messages from others. It took a while to get a good offer but I had several genuine buyers reach out to me through my eBay posting and my Craigslist posting. EBay generated the most views and genuine traffic by far. During this process, I reduced my selling price on Autotrader and did not receive any more interest. While some of this is out of Autotrader's control, I sincerely don't think the money spent was worth it. They do not offer guarantees anymore. At least with eBay, you only put a minimal amount of money up front. If Autotrader still believes they are the authority, they should back their stats. Autotrader also deploys their staff to push and try to convince you to spend another $250 for VIP service. They pitch it as if it is a sure thing and the only way to sell your car. Overall, disappointed and don't plan to use Autotrader again.
Don't waste your time on Autotrader! They suck money out of your pocket and all you get in return is scammers and 3rd party companies trying to charge you more to sell your vehicle. Not one call in 2 weeks, put on a local free site and sold it in 1 day. I would skip...
My truck buying experience was exceptional! My salesman Brian Law was very professional and made it easy! He was straight forward. No games! I would highly recommend Brian Law and Heritage Buick/GMC in Rome Ga.

Once you have an add in this site, it is a real nightmare to access it or modify it. Half of the time you have to re-enter the information 2 or more times for the site to save it. Horrible and will not use it again.
