I purchased a MacBook from backmarket which I was satisfied with… a couple weeks later since I was happy I purchased for my dad an Iwatch … the Iwatch does not charge the band states on the website it's black but I got a white band I shipped out to my dad in Germany now that I need to return it they saying the won't accept it. Very rude customer service and I'm highly unsatisfied with their unprofessional behavior

I've purchased multiple times from Backmarket. I've had such a great experience I really can't see going back to paying full price ever again. Initially I checked it out because I was buying electronics for my kids. I know that despite their best efforts, they just don't grasp how expensive electronics can be. With this on mind, I was very, very hesitant to buy a full priced iPad, AirPods, cell phones, etc for them. After being blown away with the quality and condition of that first cell phone, I've been back several times to purchase a refurbished phone for myself, two different pair of AirPods, an iPad, a PlayStation controller, the list goes on. My very first stop for electronics has been Backmarket for years now. I love that I'm saving money, but it's also nice to know I'm helping to keep electronics that obviously won't biodegrade out of landfills, AND give them a second life. There's just no reason to hand over all that extra money, especially considering Backmarket offers a one-year warranty on most (if not all) of the products they sell. I've also had fantastic experience with customer service. I had to reach out because I was having issues transferring data from an Android to an Apple product. Had nothing to do with the quality or viability of the device, and canned testify that the sellers are prompt and bent over backwards to help me. If you're on the fence about shopping Backmarket, you can be confident in your purchase with the 30 day window to try out your refurbed device. If you're unsatisfied, just send it back in the same condition it arrived and get your money back.

I purchased a 'good' condition iPhone 13 Pro Max. Shipped quickly, worked like new, and barley had any cosmetic deficiencies. However, without any damage done to the phone, 2 months later it experienced the "white screen of death" which appears to be a somewhat common software glitch. I did purchase the insurance so regardless I was covered.

My options were to send in the phone for "repair" and get it back in 7-10 business days. It's 2023 and I rely on my phone for work, travel, ect., so that is in and of itself absurd. My second option was to set up a call with a BackMarket 'specialist' to try troubleshooting again, then we could discuss a refund so I could go and get a new phone from my wireless provide, considering I literally needed a phone the next day. The specialist never showed up to the call after I wasted 45 minutes of my day waiting. I still have not heard from BackMarket.

Attempting to buy a used iPhone from them for someone's Christmas present. After Fedex made a delivery attempt, it turns out, according to FedEx, that *I personally* (NOT my spouse, roommate, other adult, etc.) but ME and only ME can sign for the package. I request FedEx to change the shipping address so it will come to my workplace and I can then sign for it, and they say that Back Market must "authorize" that change. 24 hours later, after typing messages and waiting several hours for a "response" each time, it's clear that whoever I'm dealing with there does not have the first clue on what the issue is or how to resolve it, and sends back some useless non-answer in "response" to each of my messages. No, you cannot call them. No, you cannot even chat with them. Just send messages into the void and then wait a few hours. I will never ever ever buy anything from these idiots ever again.

My daughter ordered a phone from back market order number ******* that didn't work after 2 days, was returned on the 25th of October 2023 and initially back market stated that they had received the phone back and stated they would repair, replace or refund, replied again on the 31st and stated there was nothing in the package, they then asked us to send in a police report and stated when they receive that we would get a refund after 2 days ( another lie) they have sent another message again today 30/11/23 stating they want a police report ( already sent) proof of handover, id, and statement of payment, it's just one thing after another and 5 weeks later, I think they drag it on so you get fed up and give in, I the parent bought the phone for my daughter for £210.09, so have lost my money and still don't have a phone, the company is probably ok unless you have a problem, can't call them can't do a live chat just have to wait for days on end for a reply.

Not refunding the lost phone and have suspended my account so unable to speak to them anymore stating there's fraudulent activity on my account the only fraudulent activity is the company BACK MARKET so if your stupid enough to purchase from them hope you dont have any problems.

Bought a Nintendo Switch and it's been an amazing experience, it came with everything as stated, even in the original box.

It's a great phone. Works great. Battery life is great. Appearance is good. I'm happy with this purchase.

My MacBook Air shipped quickly and arrived in great condition just as described. I've had it for over a month and have been using it for several hours daily without any issues. It functions like a brand-new computer and I couldn't be more pleased. I've purchased brand new computers from big box retailers in the past that didn't function as well as this unit. I love buying second hand in general for environmental reasons, so am excited to make Back Market my new go-to for electronics purchases.

The refurbished phone I received was in excellent condition. However, I'm pretty sure there was some type of spyware or malware on it.
Within 1 day of using my phone, my phone opened up random apps and scrolled through pages on safari. I watched this happen and it lasted about 10-15 seconds. I was not touching my phone at all during this period. I have never had this happen before.

I contacted support and they told me to reset my phone to factory settings. I actually just finished doing that. Hopefully this removes whatever malware was on it.

While the phone was in excellent condition and outperforms my old phone, I will never buy a refurbished phone again. I guess this is just the risk you take when buying a used phone. Please just be aware of this and keep that in mind. And yes keep in mind the refurbished phone was already allegedly at factory settings when I initially activated. Maybe you'll want to reset it again just to be sure the content is removed.

They don't honor the 30 day return policy. Sent me a phone with a cracked back and a bad FaceID and blame me. Asking I pay 70 to fix the back and trade in as non functional because they won't fix the FaceID. All in all, I'll lose over $700 because they sent me a trash phone. Tampa tech trendz AND backmarket are terrible! I can't stress how shady this business is. Do not buy from them!

I've purchased a pair of beats airpods, ipad, and a generation 1 apple pencil on Back Market. The prices are lower than market price that you find elsewhere and they look brand-new.

Purchased a MacBook Air in "excellent" condition. When it arrived, the keyboard was full of dirt and was sticky. The screen was covered in fingerprints. Despite BackMarket claiming that all of their items are "meticulously cleaned" the response I got from customer services was "it does not look like that much dirt". There shouldn't be any dirt on the item at all, it should have been completely cleaned. Not only that but upon turning it on, the web browser was full of history so the laptop had obviously been used. If they'd at least tried to offer some sort of apology about the dirty item then I wouldn't be too fussed but they couldn't care less that they've sent an item out full of the previous owners dead skin, oil and dirt. And that was an excellent condition item, god knows what the fair and good ones are like. They probably come with a complimentary box of dysentery.

Will be returning the MacBook for a refund and won't be going near BackMarket again.

I paid $300 for my phone and had it around 3 weeks and the screen went black and it stopped working they said it was from the camera being cracked which wasn't cracked when I shipped it back to them... They will not fix my phone or refund me... they are a horrible company do NOT BUY FROM BACK MARKET they are a joke!

I attempted to purchase an iPhone from Back Market. They charged my credit card and then immediately refunded my money saying they need a photo of the front and back of my DL before I could make the transaction. Also they said to sell my phone back to them they wanted my bank account numbers and social security number. No company needs that kind of info just to sell you a one time purchase product. I decided to go with a different company. Most of this happened on a phone call to help center. No order number because they canceled the order. Tracy

I received my IPhone in really good condition. I have no complaints. The shipping was fast. I chose to turn in my old phone for some money back and the shipping accessories came really late. I had a deadline to ship my old device. I had to print out the shipping label-which I was aware of, but had to go to a shipping store to send it because I never received the materials to send in my old product by the deadline. Other than that the phone is great and it came a day earlier than expected. I will shop at Back Market in the future.

I'm am very happy with my purchase. The tablet was well packaged and in brand new condition. I highly recommend Back Market for smartphones, tablets, and laptops computers. They also sell all the accessories for your needs. Bravo to Back Market

Everyone always has their doubts about an app that has very cheap items which even me I believed that back market was a scam but for phones later my mind has changed greatly as every phone I received was in great condition as described and I never had to return One phone with a great warranty plan that is usually $34.99 for phones only (I think) not only that black market will stay in contact and contact very quickly if you ask them any questions.
