One word, Ripp off!

Stay away, you will pay for extra chicken and alvacado and never get it. Rip off! Why add extras? So you can pay for it and never get it, Happend to me several times.

Wouldn't entertain delivering slightly outside of delivery area as grubhub.com did that they bought out. I was speaking with 'ROGER' through online CHAT since they DO NOT have a phone number. VERY SHADY!... and ROGER disconnected chat before conversation was through. shipt.com will be getting my business from now on in regards to food delivery or ANY other company other than bitesquad. DO NOT waste your time with such unprofessionalism. Look at other online reviews, and DEFINITELY look for another FOOD DELIVERY service!

Stay Away from Bite Squad: Bad Service

Warning: Do not use Bite Squad. What they won't tell you is that restaurants can refuse to take your order_ and they won't call to tell you. Tonight, I ordered from Firehouse subs for a house filled with people. After an hour, i contacted Bite Squad and they told me Firehouse refused the order because they were "short staffed." Yet not one person from Bite Squad called. The service was miserable. I would rather order from a Pizza Hut where I know the service is going to be crappy than Bite Squad that pretends to deliver food on time. Stay AWAY.

Disappointing
September 22, 2017

Looking back at my order, (via old cc statements), over the past 3 years I would use doorstep delivery for lunch two to three times a week, ( I work from home).
Ever since Bite Squad took over for DoorStep delivery, the order processing and delivery time has more than trippled. I now use them maybe once a month - and only because I am left wih little choice.

I would not mind the increase in cost, but come on folks, what used to take less than 30 minutes from the time the order was placed when it was delivered has now gone to 90 minutes - give or take 5 mihutes.

I would rate one star, however, despite the extra long wait time, when the driver arrives, they are always very curtious and friendly.

Cancelled my order

Placed order on 9/1, never got it, finally got email saying they would refund us and credit us 20$ and today, the charge shows up AGAIN ON MY BANK ACCOUNT! And when I email them, I get rude responses! Fraud alert! These people are dishonest and rip offs. Do not give them your card info!

Unreliable

Used to be a great service but now they've gotten too big for their britches. I often receive orders that aren't complete or have the wrong items. I was told I would be given a $20 credit for a big server crash they had over the holiday weekend where I was charged several times but never received food but still haven't received credit...

Horrible service

Placed an order. Our order was cancelled for some reason and we were never notified. No customer service phone number to call so even more frustrating. I've sent 2 emails with no response from them. TERRIBLE! I would give less than one star if possible.

Ridiculous customer service for a crappy app. Waited 45 minutes, and food was still not picked up. Was told by one customer service rep the order was submitted as a Pick Up order, even though the last order I placed the same way was delivered. They insisted this was completely my fault, and they would not remake the food. So now I have a $60 food bill for food that is going to be cold and mushy. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!

Terrible

Terrible. I ordered food at 8:30 p.m. At 10:20 p.m. I was called to tell me that my food was being picked up and I was getting a credit. At 10:490 I was told that my food wasn't being picked up at all. Well duh! It's almost 11:00 pm on a Sunday! Maybe not wait over 2 hours to wave the flag and let us know! We were starving. Done with this company, never again.

I am reviewing for BiteSquad in Seattle area, WA.
The service seemed reliable, the driver arrived on time and no messed up order. The delivery fee was somewhat okay $5.99 considering the restaurant is 20minutes distance.
However, they make you pay the tips to the driver and their online team in advance upon paying for your order. It may be okay but it is NOT okay when they add up tax with the tips amount you pay!
I would prefer to give tips to the driver in person, rather paying in advance and added tax with it! That is not right and unethical.

After reading another review on this company, I wanted to be clear I am reporting on my experience in Denver, CO. Thanks. :) Delivery service for restaurants! The site allows you choose the type of Cuisine and it will then list the restaurant within your particular delivery area for a very reasonable fee. The drivers I have had so far are very nice and arrive within 5 minutes of the stated delivery time! My experience so far has been that my food arrives at a good serving temperature and is fresh although I did have a small problem getting the wrong beverage in my last order. Not a big deal, but still should have been right. I'm not going to knock off any points for that since it was in the middle of a busy Saturday night and as an Executive Chef with over 30 years of experience I know these things can happen even at the best places, with the best staff, during a busy Saturday Night Rush! I ordered at 8pm, on a Sat night which is the busiest time of night for most restaurants. My delivery time for the restaurant was stated as 55 min. They arrived right on time, and gave me a call to tell me they were on their way (although 1 time the call was to tell me that the restaurant did not have what I ordered due to a recent menu change, (Guess they forgot to update their online menus), and would I like something else. He said he would wait for it to be made and then deliver it, which is what ended up happening (he got a GOOD Tip). I think it's a wonderful app that does not charge a membership fee. Perfect for the nights you don't want to cook or have time to shop, cook and serve dinner and then all the cleanup at the end of your meal. Like bringing many types of cuisine from various restaurants right to your door in a timely manner. Even as a Chef there are nights I don't feel like doing any cooking at home.
In the end they are not perfect, but considering how many restaurants and types of cuisine they offer in many area's they do a great job. Lastly, Driver's come in all shapes, size's and personalities, so some area's may lack a large supply of qualified driver's for this type of job. Remember, they're meeting strangers at every stop so don't be offended if they don't want to be your instant friend. Who knows what type of delivery/customer they just came from. Perhaps i'm a bit sympathetic to the workers after spending 30+ years in Restaurant's with the last 25 being an Executive Chef.
2 Thumbs up and 5 stars for a rating.
