Everything was great except for the shipper handing it off to a subcontract shipper, which probably had a bigger truck than the original. Thus it was handled at least twice more, took another week for it to get here. Very unsatisfied with Averitt. I specified, and was repeatedly asked about my delivery address. I not only explained it being farm shop, but that I also had track steer machine with pallet forks to unload. If Averrit had dropped directly to me, NO complaints 5 star review!
Excellent phone service and technical support. Furnace arrived when it was expected and not damaged. Really appreciate the great customer service.

Ordered a air handler and had to extra for shipping to get item from Texas, there was a mix up with my address and item got sent to North Carolina instead of Florida. The problem was fixed pretty quick, it was just inconvenient

When my item arrived. I noticed some slight damage to components. I emailed them photos and a description of it. They quickly replied and shipped replacement parts free of charge. I will definitely use them again.

Beware if you need something in a reasonable amount of time. I placed an order for a downflow kit so I could install my new unit. They waited a week only to call me and ask for more money saying their vendor was charging them more and that my order was on hold until I paid. Seriously? They said they couldn't afford to "eat" the $20 more. They could care less about the week I just lost by depending on them. That is a first for me. I have never been called and asked for more money after placing an online order. Needless to say, I canceled the order. The only good thing I have to say about Budget is they did give a prompt refund. Next stop BBB

Thank you for your purchase and we are truly sorry for your bad experience. We take full ownership in the phone call and the request for the additional $20 to ship. We sincerely apologize; we never make these type of calls unless we absolutely have to and our GM did try and make the situation right with you yesterday on 10/5 which you understandably declined. Unfortunately a perfect storm occurred on your order that i will explain below to give clarity but not justification as to the why there was a lack of communication and the reason for the call and $20 request. The communication lacked due to our corporate office being located in Florida and Hurricane Ian shutting down both Budgets and our vendors operations for most of last week. Once the vendor that we purchase this product from reopened we were informed that the part was not available and had to be transferred in at an additional cost, in addition to this our raw cost increased significantly as well from the manufacturer. We break even on orders all the time for customer satisfaction however we cannot take a significant loss on an order especially on items that have to be transferred in. The $20 requested was to cover inbound costs only, leaving us no profit on the order. When you understandably refused to pay, we promptly cancelled and refunded your order. Yesterday our GM reached out and offered for Budget at our expense to drive to another city to pickup this part, ship the part to you same day all for no additional $ due and you declined stating you were going to look elsewhere for the part. We completely understand this and regret the situation that unfolded. We hope you give us another chance in the future and we will make up for this bad experience. If for some reason you have difficulties locating the part our offer still stands.
I scheduled Budget Heating and Air to come for a diagnostic report on my existing A/C source on Monday 9/10/2022. On Sunday my A/C system went out. Budget owner, Scott, came on Monday, reviewed my issue and had service men there the same day. It was fixed and cool in under 2 hours!

Budget heating and air did a great job. They did everything as promised. They communicated well. They helped me with questions and they followed up. The AC unit was delivered on time. Everything was top notch.
I didn't receive everything ordered and the ac lines were the wrong size for the attachments supplied on the unit.

Thank you for your business and reaching out! The correct line sizes were sent to match the indoor units in the system purchased and passed our Quality Assurance checks as verified by 3 staff members and management prior to shipping. We believe the confusion is happening when you are looking at the copper connections at the outdoor unit. The adaption happens at the outdoor condenser NOT at the indoor units. The copper size always follows the indoor units connection size on ductless mini splits. You adapt at the outdoor condenser. The default copper size as set by the factory at the condenser is most common configurations however it is meant to be adapted if needed depending on the indoor units selected since there are many different combinations that are possible on a multi-head system. Daikin includes the adaptors to connect to the different sizes with the outdoor unit packaging. If missing please contact us and we will provide for you. As to the missing product we checked all Quality Assurance Paperwork and photos of the shipment prior to leaving our facility and all items were present. Matt in our Freight Claims department reached out to you and assisted you in filing a claim directly with the carrier.

I bought a 5 ton condenser and air handler from Budget Heating and Air Conditioning. Their communication after the sale and during the shipping process was bad. I would call the salesman back and I would be put on hold sometimes more than 20 minutes. They told me to inspect the delivery when it arrived. I told them it was being delivered to my 82 year old mother's house and I would need to know when it arrives so I could have someone there to inspect it. I never heard from them and the equipment showed up 6 days later than they said it was going to arrive. The equipment was wrapped in black shrink wrap to secure the boxed equipment to the pallet. There was not visible damage to the outside of the wrapping. A few days later when my installers showed up to put the equipment in and unwrapped the equipment there were two places that clearly was where someone had run a forklift through the box and into the equipment damaging the coils. I called budget and was given the run around. The GM Phillip Borneman would not even take my call and did not respond to my voice mail. I had to deal with their shipping department Matt Drinnon. Though he admitts they use black shrink wrap to secure the package to the crate, he of course denies that they covered up the damage done by the fork lift and shipped it out anyway. Budget basically says that they take no responsibility and told me to file a claim with the shipping company they used. Terrible experience and terrible customer relations.

After I published the above review and sent a copy of it to the company, I got an email from the GM the next day. Coincidence or motivated by the review, you decide. I still believe in my heart that someone in their shipping department caused the damage and concealed it. I asked them to review their CCTV footage but they never commented on that. I don't believe that the company is in a habit of doing this or how could they stay in business. The GM and I went back and forth with 2 or 3 emails and eventually settled on a 400 dollar refund on my order. I would much rather have had a new and undamaged unit but I am ready to cut my losses and move on. Whatever motivated them to reach out to me after the review, I appreciate them finally getting in touch with me and making an attempt to come to a compromise. I have upgraded my original rating of 1 star to a 3 star rating.
