The yearly fee is worth it, I have won many competitions via this site (a few thousand dollars worth), I've won visa cards, a new phone
Flight vouchers, toys for the kids and more. I love how easy it is to track which comps I've entered too by clicking the tick and favourite the ones I want to come back to.
I don't understand why people have left bad reviews for this website, in addressing some complaints I've seen others mention... It would take work to maintain it so why would they offer it for free. They do filter our the scam competitions which is great, of course you will get emails from the companies who have run the competitions because that is usually their aim (I. E subscribe to their newsletter and go in the draw to win). I don't expect competitions guide to post the winners or contact me as they are merely taking the time to find the non scammy comps and share the links to these comps on their site.
Joined after seeing this on Channel 9, no mention of monthly joining fee, can't enter anything without paying "Premium" membership, can't even enter the Vaxxed comps, this will be quickly deleted and unsubscribed, if you can't mention there is a cost involved on the TV, don't surprise me with it after I join.
Hi Grant, the Channel 9 show you mentioned was the National News. We were asked to comment on the vaccination competition that was being run at the time. At no time do we get asked questions about our business model, that's not what the news is there for (and we would have happily answered if we were asked).
Answer: Hi Wayne, although we don't control the market, it's usually 75-80% are free to enter. We do advise our members to keep a close eye on those requiring a purchase as often it's for supermarket or liquor products that you may buy anyway - these comps usually have bigger prizes and a lot less people entering them (usually because they forget to follow through on the entry).
Hi Mindy,
Very appreciated, and thank you for defending our position. Competitions are one of those things people either love or hate, there's not much of an in between.
Negative comments about us or competitions are expected :)
