I thought I was reviewing compressionsales.com, and targeted this company by accident.

When I thought I was calling back compressionsales.com I actually got through to compressionstockings.com where I had posted the negative review.

First I spoke with Melissa at compressionstockings.com. She was sweet, professional and couldnt have been nicer. Because I had spent all morning ordering from the wrong company, it was now too late to get an overnight delivery from this company.

Then Owen, the director of xompressionstockings.com called to apologize for the horrible service I got from the other company. He also could not have been nicer or more professional

Bottom line... if you read my first very negative review, which I have now rescinded, it was NOT about compressionstockings.com

This review gives compressionstockings.com 5 stars for service and compassion.

I have continually been in touch asking for a refund for stockings returned unopened. I didn't want the order in the first place. Called and asked for the order to be cancelled and was told it was already shipped. That was 10/24/2016. I received a email 10/25/2016 that the order was shipped. The young man the day before lied. If their system was working right in the first place only one order would have been ordered. They have kept my money They are thieves and should be ashamed. I am now told I have 14 dollars in store credit. They have nothing I need. The other opened order proved that. Their 3x would never fit my Daughter's leg. I simply want my money back. They are greedy and liars. My name is Lorelei Briggs and I want my money back. Thanks for noticing compression stockings.

I had to 2 day ship a compression sleeve for my flight because I couldn't find mine. I ordered the same sleeve, the same manufacturer (lymphedivas) and the same size. When I received it (after I paid 20 dollars in shipping) it said small, long instead of small regular (as the site stated). Apparently the manufacturer changed their definitions for long to mean regular and short to mean what I used to order as regular. I wrote their customer service and 5 days later I received a response. They stated that I should have re-measured my arm and checked the new size names to know I should now have ordered a short. Told me they would refund me and waive the shipping fee on the new one but I would have to pay shipping to return. What? I was out a 20 dollar shipping fee and the money to ship it back to them. Incredibly rude email and confusing site. I will NEVER order from here again. I'm going to keep the long sleeve and fold it over. Do NOT order from this website. There are lots of others out there.

I have had 6 positive dealings with this online dealer over the years including reimbursement of a returned item but my most recent transaction leads me to believe that they are just selling inventory without dealing with customer service
I purchased a pair of stockings that didn't fit I sent them an email through their site with a 2-3 week delayed response I went through their protocol for returning the item 4mo ago and no reimbursement or response to emails regarding the returned item
It appears that the company is going out of business clearing inventory

I was a bit nervous about ordering from them because I thought that the quality may not be as good as what I would get ordering it directly from the company. As a first impression, I have to say that i'm a bit less nervous now. The same day that I ordered, they were shipped. They will arrive in about 3 days. Not bad considering they ship from New York and I live in Iowa. I haven't received them yet, but I will update this review with my initial impressions and then again in a few months after regular use.

EDIT: I did receive them on Thursday. They appear to have the right amount of compression (just comparing them to the other one that I have that is 30-40mmHg, but the style and fit is much different. The chap part of the leg is much, much wider. And even though I measured in the morning as suggested and used those measurements to chose a size, there is a lot of loose cloth at the top of the stocking. I feel as though they were made for someone about 6 inches taller than I am (and I'm 5'7") I have to say that I don't really like the Jobst style of chaps. The wider band at the side makes for some weird contours in the fabric around the stomach and butt. It looks ok under more structured pants like jeans, but under cloth pants or a skirt it looks like i'm trying to smuggle something. Really disappointed in how ill fitting they are, and i'm not sure that choosing another size would help. If you've had Jobst stockings before and know your size for certain, these would probably be ok. If it is your first pair of Jobst stockings, I would buy them from a retailer where you can get fitted properly and possibly try before you buy. I can recommend the website, but I can't recommend these compression stockings. It will be interesting to see how well they hold up after some regular wear. I kept the 4 star rating because this is a review of the website and not the product I received specifically.

I had an accident a few years ago and the circulation in my leg has been greatly damaged. After countless hours and dollars on garments that didn't fit/work for me, I came across CompressionStockings.com and after speaking with them over the phone… I was confident I finally found a product I can work with for my unusually shaped legs.

Customer service has been phenomenal. All employees know the inventory and product up and down. They were even nice enough to answer all my questions, taught me to measure on my own correctly and has worked with me to provide various products to see which one is the best so I would be happy.

I cannot explain the joy to you how much I appreciate the service and knowledge. Finally I am able to enjoy traveling again, sit for long periods of time at events, and even helps me when driving to and from work.

I can honestly tell anyone even thinking about buying compression wear that CompressionStockings.com is 100% best option with top notch service and huge selection. Also want to throw in they shipped my order the same day even though it was late and it goes to me in 2 days! You cannot beat that, thank you everyone over at the company.
