While Craigslist started off as a good site, and has maintained a very clean and lightweight design throughout it's existence, it's undoubtedly one of the absolute worst sites on the internet today.

The site staff literally don't care about their users. Support emails are literally never read, they go to an unmonitored inbox. Their site's contact form is literally just a placebo, those messages literally never get read. Their forums are the most toxic place on the internet and you will never get any sort of help from them, only flaming and insults.

The site is full of scams, phishing, criminals trying to set people up to rob them, and it's automated spam filtering algorithms do nothing to prevent the massive flood of spam that makes up the majority of the content on the site, but they do often prevent legitimate users from posting non-spam-content.

Furthermore, the founder, Craig Newmark, is an objectively terrible person. He's not a good man. He's a hateful, vindictive, self-righteous arrogant jerk who goes out of his way to shut down competition, to shut down sites that enhance Craigslist, and a hypocrite who claims to stand against corporatism while engaging in the very thing he decries

Do yourself a favor and stop posting on that site, and don't pay them a penny. Let Craigslist starve and die

I placed 4 new postings on Craigslist for various items I no longer need. # of the 4 were removed without any explanation whatsoever. Very innocent a simple postings.
No way to find out why they were removed. I'm going back to ebay.

I have posted many times and the majority of the time I get harassed by people flagging my posts for no reason just because they're being haters. Craigslist should not allow anyone to flag a post without censoring it themselves before they do

TERRIBLE! Stay away. Full of scammers who are not even intercepted by Craigslist. Buyers and sellers are not even verified by Craigslist. I just got scammed of $1000 while trying to sell my furniture on Craigslist, via two $500 Amex gift cards.

I give the site 5stars. It is helpful in getting straight. Just some of the renters play others property. I had an experience in Atlanta where deputies searched my room saying they had a warrant for someone from 2016 and it was 2023. I believe those guys in that home were not for people succeeding or there well being. Those
Deputies didn't even search upstairs which was odd the 1st chance I got was 1 way out of Atlanta.

When trying to report a credit card that's not working which has worked just fine in the past and works well at evert other place I use it, craigslist does nothing to fix it or even respond. Trying to post a legitimate ad for work which I've also posted the same ad plenty of times. So nothing wrong with the post or card or even the user, it's craigslist themselves.

Keep in mind it's A $5 Ad...When trying to post an ad for offer help people with moving service for a job the ad will be removed or All credit/debit cards keep getting declined in there system and in the past have done plenty of jobs on Craigslist with the exact same ad. I been moving local and long distance mover for both residential and businesses and all my customers very satisfied. Now when I try to post with the same credit card always use, the same same card always used in the past is automatically declined. We need work to survive and this is not right.

I used to really love posting my small business ads for cleaning. Unfortunately over the years they have now started charging you to post an ad. I would not mind this if I got anything that was legit but right off the bat, I get sick messages. Such as asking for me to clean someone's house while there completely naked and other spam which are supposed to be filtered out. I have not gotten one legit response with my ad so I feel like I throw my money away. It was so much easier the way it was before and wouldn't mind all the Spam if it weren't for the fact that now I'm paying. There isn't a real person to report anything to so now Im officially am done with this site. I figured over the years, they would start charging people because that seems to be the only thing people care about is making money and not providing a reliable service.

I live in this place five years. They have had five manager in five years the company is very hard on managers. The main manger drive other managers away I was told and tried to not have contact witty this managers. Your lease is only a year than month to month so they can raise rents. As for ground keep their is a problem their is dog stuff on the streets and maintenance does a poor job. This is many of other outside maintenance problem. Inside is about the same. As for fixing things could take a week. One of the ongoing problems is hot water problems. It seems the used water tanks not a boiler which causes problems. Yes, their has been bugs problems like bed bugs I had a few years ago. They did work on it it caused me money. As for other yes I heard from other renters. The laundry room has limited hours only on the floor and a three floor building. This causes problem trying to get your cloths done. Has there been problem in this area yes. It's with the company they used. Problems sometimes with homeless. Has for noise yes the hallways were carpet now floor which flooring. Carpet was better keeping the noise down. Parking is free but with permit but if you don't have one they tow your car only a warning about few days. The only care about money. As for pets yes with deposit and rent pet each month. The state members of Congress make sure landlords don't screw you with late charges, applications fees, court cost etc. The helps you because this company would screw you. They were good at one time but with changes in managers and Corporate and changes in time. They were good at one time. Try a better place.

On the one hand, it's a great platform for finding affordable deals and unique items. But on the other hand, navigating through the endless listings and scammers can be frustrating and overwhelming. I've had good and bad experiences using Craigslist, from finding my dream apartment to dealing with dishonest sellers. It's a love-hate relationship. Still, I'd recommend using this platform.

Craigslist is a great place to sell or post a 'wanted' ad... Until someone 'flags' you for no reason and craigslist simply sees their flag and takes your ad down cut and dry.no reasons(s) given. They believe anyone.actually they don't believe anyone except someone hitting the 'flag' sign. It's automatic for them. Craigslist is a spineless organization that doesn't know the difference between right and wrong. They don't even follow their own guidelines about treating people fairly.

If I could, I would put 0 or a negative number. This service is horrible and algorithms are meant to infringe on rights of adequate people and discriminate them. Craigslist enforces some $#*!ed rules regarding posting a room, that go waaay too far in so called "tolerance". I cannot say that I am looking for a person who does't smoke and doesn't do weed, because I "discriminate them". So, it doesn't matter that those smells and drugs give me headaches and make me feel bad. My health, well being and desire to live clean without additions is not as important as making a space for people who want to live lower life quality and also affect mine. I already have 3 dogs, and the place is small, so for shared living I am looking for someone who doesn't have pets. It's just common sense. But I cannot say that, because I will violate someone's right to live with a pet. Ughm, hello! 4+ pets and 2-3 people is too much in one tiny space. I hope this f. Jim Buckmaster (the CEO of Craigslist) will accommodate all druggies, smokers, drinkers, poor pets, and others at his own house to feel how algorithms he is enforcing work in practice. Go show your tolerance at your own house, Jim! And not at the expense of other people.

Something must be done about the online fraud at these company are doing! I paid renew my state basset program they took off 14.99 from my card and give me a password and user name, and when i use it to log into my account i could not login so i change change my password several time follow the information posted on their web site and still can not get in. So i call them the so called information number hang up on you as soon as they pick up so i went to chat line and as why can i not log in to my classes they replay was please rephases the question i could not log in that seem straight forward to me i do not believe one bit that the so called government can not fine out who these on line bitiches either helping them or they are just donot care but i am tried of getting my money taken and nothing is done about are there any people out there was also had to deal with this of fraud? Craigslist used to be a good site now it's all fake ads with liars thieves and drug addicts. Even posting legitimate ads on there they keep getting flagged and craigslist won't do anything to stop it. Craigslist needs to.b shut down and get all the low lifes, losers,, drug addicts and thieves off there.

Flagging done left right and center. Especially in the pets section. Seems these psychos would rather people did like the old days and either drown pets or throw them out car windows in trash bags on highways, than see anyone adopt them. The sick thing is, these people think their animal rights activists! There are all sorts of valid reasons people may have for rehoming pets. Shelters are FULL. Yet you psychos make it impossible. You think you're saving these animals from danger? You ARE the danger. Get a life and a job instead of sitting around flagging ppls posts. This happens in other areas as well such as suite rentals. Bunch of clowns running the show. Craigslist, put legitimate employees in charge and spend a buck. At this rate Craigslist is going obselite. Nice job ' Community'.
