I was able to sign-up on-line for the family plan without any problems. The chat support was available in case I had any questions. He was helpful and very pleasant. So all in all, the easiest sign-up I have ever done. I would recommend this plan to anyone with or without dental insurance. Having just retired with cobra dental just too expensive, this will be very helpful for our dental needs.

Not sure why you charge a One Time $10 processing fee - wouldn't that just be a cost of doing business? And, why would this be a "ONE Time Processing Fee" if you charge for it every year?
We are sorry for any confusion. "One Time" was a clarification we added because we had a number of members who thought it was a recurring monthly fee. So we added the "One Time" to help clarify that it is only a one time annual charge. We are working on different ways to word this and are open to new ideas. What is the $10 one time fee?
We didn’t want to simply raise our price because in the 15 years we have been in business we haven’t once raised our prices. But we did want our members to know why there is now this additional cost. There are a number of reasons we had to add this fee in recent years. First and foremost when a plan is purchased, even if we do not mail a physical membership card, a number of non-refundable fees need to be paid regarding discount plan regulations, network fees, and compliance fees. When someone requests a refund, there is no way for us to get those fees back. It’s the old one bad apple ruins it for everyone scenario. Additionally, in recent years states have enacted a number of additional regulations and audits for discount plans which have driven our costs higher and have made it harder for us to service our members. We will always continue to strive to keep our plan cost down and we appreciate your understanding. We love providing great customer service and we greatly appreciate our loyal customer base.

Unless you are enrolled in a Medicare Advantage Plan that includes dental coverage, DentaCard is the best option for anyone who may need a dentist. After researching the premiums of dental insurance, I have found I save a great deal more by paying out-of-pocket and even MORE since enrolling with DentaCard. Of course, I try to practice good oral hygiene myself and only need to visit my dentist for routine care and the occasional emergency

I don't like the repetitive ONE TIME CHARGE of $10.00 after your already a member and renewing. My Co-Pays are still fairly high with this Insurance.
Thank you for submitting a review to our site, unfortunately to combat a few bad apples out there who were taking advantage of our refund policy we have had to add the non-refundable $10 processing fee back into our plan as of January 1st, 2017. For many years it was waived as part of our promo that was running at the time.
After researching dental plans I believe this plan was the best. The rates charged by dentists were reduced with this card

I've been using The DentaCard for over 5 years now, and it has saved me hundreds of dollars each year. One dentist visit will return the annual DentaCard cost with "interest". After that you just save money. It's a very wise purchase. The last dentist I visited was not currently a part of the DentaMax Team, but enrolled and accepted my DentaCard. I'm very satisfied with the Plan.

We received this plan from someone who works at a dentist and we have kept this plan ever since. We receive a substantial discount on our dental bills because of this plan. The discount is a real actual number. In talking to my dentist office the savings on having a crown was over $400. If your retired and don't have a dental plan I would highly recommend DentaCard Discount Plan.
