Who in their right mind wants to listen to Pat McAfee never shut up or watch him in his tacky tank shirt while trying to watch and hear the Alabama vs Mississippi game? He is disgusting. And the female interviewer who talked to the Houston Coach through the Navy Alma Mater. Shame on both for the disrespect of an honorable tradition! She shouldn't be allowed back on the Annapolis grounds. I am from Texas and won't watch another Houston game. The Coach should know better and could have waited one minute to show his respect.

ESPN+ is a bad buy
September 27, 2022

Not much point to paying for a streaming service when the few games they do "show" are blacked out for most areas.

No crowd noise
September 10, 2022

Watching Auburn vs San Jose State. No crowd noise, so no excitement. Just the commentators yelling at each other. They are doing a good job, but the game is coming across flat.

Ripoff
August 24, 2022

ESPN and ESPN+ are the biggest disappointments. I subscribe to the Disney Hulu ESPN Bundle and by far ESPN is a total waste of my money, now anything I want to see is on ESPN3 OR they want to sell me another subscription to watch something for another $9.99. Or once again I actually have to call them to REMIND them I am already a subscriber and am entitled to watch something on ESPN+. I should not have to be jumping thru hoops for their business they Should be jumping thru hoops for My business.

ESPN coverage of MLB
August 8, 2022

I hated the coverage of the Dodger/ Padres game on Sunday, August 7th, and am usually disappointed with the way ESPN covers games. First of all, the on field interview of Juan Soto and the split screen interview of owner Peter Seidler, wan nothing but distracting. The announcers tend to chit-chat and never call the game. I suggest they listen to some Vin Scully who knew how to call a game and not distract from it.

This ESPN broadcast is lower than subpar.
Saying MLB player names incorrectly, at times talking more about other games or players while not commenting the current play by play as it is happening.

They will show good name player on Thursday and Friday but on the weekends they don't show the leaders in the tournament! It makes no sense showing players that are not in the leaders positions. The top 1-3 leader groups is who should be shown.

ESPN is big business and naturally has a large number of sports analysts. Some of the best in my view
Are Kendrick Perkins on the NBA and Marcus Spears, Ryan Clark, and Domonique Foxworth on the NFL.
The best-known commentator on all ESPN sports is Stephen-A Smith, and he presents a big problem. Though he often has other sports analysts on his show who know more than he, he never gives anyone a chance to talk. It is all a Stephen-A ego-monologue, and it shortchanges the viewer who wants to hear ex-players and other points of view. Tony Kornheiser, who co-hosts Pardon the Interruption with the benignly knowlegeable Mike Wilbon, is just plain awful. He is dull and difficult to look at with his mannerism of putting on then removing his spectacles throughout the show. Nevertheless, it is clear that Kornheiser thinks highly of himself for no good reason.

I do not care at all for Beth as a commentator. I will change the channel. Love to watch all college games but do not like her! Sorry.

Leaders in bias
November 13, 2021

So tired of the bias coverage that ESPN provides, not to mention the crappy picture they offer. I wish there was other options when it came to college sports coverage.

I noticed ESPN turned off their comments. I know why. Their writers suck so bad and their editors don't check anything.

They don't even know which teams won a game. I was reading a headline "Penguins prevail in OT on Carter Verhaeghe's goal

2d"

They have a picture of the panthers and still put up the wrong team. It's been 2days and no one has caught it. This is just one of the many examples.

Also when they post horrible articles about predictions based on horrible horrible info. They just throw stuff at the wall and use no common sense. Instead of having any feedback they make sure you can't say, whatever type of simulation you are using, you might want to get your money back. Yeah the Jaguars are going to win their first 5 games. I didn't post it, they did. Also the ravens were going 1-4 in the first five. There was a bunch of other examples in that, but I stopped reading after that.

They screw up headlines, scores, stats, and they are always 2 days behind on stat page updates. Pretty embarrassing for a sports company that has been around for decades.

I am sure we all remember the Jeremy Lin line. How does that get published?

Oh do they have a way to contact them via email? I can't find one. Just a bunch of useless FAQ. I couldn't find the FAQ, why do your writers and editors suck?

Rex Ryan
October 10, 2021

I was watching Sunday NFL countdown and they were talking about what Jon gruden. It was 10 years ago and at that time it was always talked about with no problems. When tex Ryan was talking he swear twice on tv and in my religion that isn't accepted and I have little kids watching. If the NFL is going hard on Jon gruden then ESPN needs to go after Rex Ryan for foul language on tv.

So disappointed by the announcers for this Red Sox vs Yankees game played at Fenway Park on September 26. Terribly one sided commentary. Not at all what I would expect of professional announcers. Alex Rodriguez was was one of the most boring, irritatingly biased announcers I have ever listened too. The sound quality For both announcers was absolutely terrible. Very disappointed in the broadcast.

Everyone I know who has a subscription for espn and espn+ is getting ripped off. It's why I never bought my own subscription. I can't tell you how many times I have gone over to a fight party and it won't play. Help team is NOT helpful and usually not responsive. I've missed so many fights that were paid for. So tired of ESPN with no resolution.

Too much far left politics, too little sports. If I want that could watch cnn. Canceling my subscription. Have fun dividing people, it's a lot easier than uniting them.

ANTI ESPN
September 11, 2020

I was watching the UofM/Arkansas State football game on ESPN Sat. Night when during the second quarter, ESPN showed the UofM'Ark. State football teams, coaches and others marching for BLM. Then they showed a helmet with BLM labeled on the back of the helmet for the Univ of Memphis. Then the commentators added their ridiculous two-cents nonsense.

I immediately turned the TV off; I was hoping for a non-PC college football season, so I will not watch college football on espn this year. I have already turned off the NFL and NBA.

BLM is a domestic terrorist organization. They have looted, burned buildings and cars and everything else, burned the American flag, and maimed, injured and killed innocent people. They have killed 18 police and injured over 3,000, throwing frozen water bottles, rocks, bricks, firebombs, etc. They have looted and burned hundreds of businesses in dozens of cities.

My son and daughter-in-law owned a business in Portland that was torched and destroyed by BLM about two weeks ago. They are now in the process of declaring bankruptcy. What would you, ESPN, like say to them and all the small businesses whose lives have been destroyed by all of this.

What would you, ESPN, like to say to the women and men in blue who risks their lives everyday and have to try to keep control in cities where there hands are tied by radical politicians, while they are being spit on, chemicals thrown on them, cursed, etc., etc.?

It is sad to know that ESPN supports a domestic terrorist organization like BLM. The only conclusion one can take away from this is that ESPN is anti-American, anti-flag, anti-police, and anti-small businesses.

BLM is not protesting; they are rioting! Are you stupid?

My heart goes out to the policemen/women and their families who have been killed, injured and maimed, and my heart goes out to the hundreds of small businesses that were burned and destroyed by BLM and the ones that will be burned and destroyed in the future, while being supported by ESPN.+
