We monitor reviews for authenticity
Just watch the pictures i posted a lot of computer generated messages by users saying exactly the same things. What are the odds?
One simple rule, NEVER SEND MONEY! I chatted with over 100 women on the site and everyone of them ended up asking for money, offered to sent nude pictures for money or have online sex.
This site of full of scammers and fake profiles. Sometimes I wonder if Filipino Cupid are working together with these scammers to drum up business. Out of 30 profiles you talk to, maybe one is authentic, and doesn't ask for money. A lot of these fakes and scammers will ask you to chat outside the Website (usually through Whatsapp). After you get to know them, they will come up with some silly excuses, ie, getting sick, or hungry, and ask you to send money. Never ever send them money. This will help feed the vicious cycle of having more scammers on the site. I can tell most of the profiles are fake by doing a simple Google Image search on their profile pictures. A lot of pictures are stolen from other sites and Social Media (Facebook, IG). And always verify their identity by doing a Video Chat. If they give a silly excuse of not able to do video chat, just move on to the next profile. It's not worth your time. The site was not like this in the past. But it's gotten worse over the years. I honestly don't think Filipino Cupid is doing enough to weed out fake profiles and scammers. I suggest you spend your hard earned money on another site.
A lot of reviews here complain about girls asking for money. Come on, get real. Why do you think a hot 20 year old wants to chat with your saggy $#*!?! Of course she wants money in some form or another. Even if they are completely legit, they want a better life than their poverty stricken existence in their own country. Having said that, I have found a lot of genuine girls looking for a BF or husband to come rescue them. Most of them are desperately poor, mostly uneducated and living in a shack somewhere. That doesn't mean they are a scam. It is just the profile of the typical female user. A well educated, professional Filipina is not going to hang out here.
Once you accept that and if you want to find a pretty young companion for a while your have your choice of pickings. But you must go there. Sitting at home on your computer you are going to just attract scammers. You should join the site 2 weeks before arriving, make a bunch of contacts and meet them when you arrive. You will have your pick of multiple young pretty girls to spend time with.
At least 90% of the profiles are just bots. Doesn't look like they monitor it at all. You also get fished in to buying a subscription because you can't see messages from other people until you do, and once you do you realize you've just been bombarded by bots and you've paid a subscription fee to see their messages.
Please do not subscribe to this site.
I just use the app yesterday, the same day my profile was temporarily suspended. They want me to upload government issued photo, drivers license, or passport. I don't have that I tried school ID But it's not working. I don't know how should I reactivate it I don't even know whom to ask.
I met a girl off Filipino Cupid, she told me all the right things to make me marry her, pretended to be religious but sexy, loving and adventurous. All that changed once she got to my country. She never wanted to do anything and insisted we live at my pensioner mothers house to save money "for our future. Soon she was working away 75% of the time and my ability to argue for moving out was even weaker. I became depressed and fell into substance abuse to fill the void where my marriage was supposed to be. I asked her for help but she just threatened to leave.
Of course, she never did-until she received her permenant residency in Australia. She left me and tried to steal all our assets. It took me over 10 months to get my rightful share back and in that time I suffered multiple nervous breakdowns.
This person who was supposed to be my wife showed no sympathy. Dropped all her responsibilities now that she found a way to pass as an electrical engineer despite only having a control systems degree from a third world country. She is unable to apply for jobs with the larger mining firms so weasels her way into subcontractors instead.
I was able to get the support I needed and have been clean and sober since 2 weeks after she left. I was never bad to her, I cooked for her and worked hard to build a life for her here. But she had other plans.
Please be careful on that website. Families of the girls on there encourage them to hook up with foreigners in the hopes of leeching off the good will of lonely people. They are shameless. This person also goes by the names Cindy Salva and Cinderella Salva and Cindy Vandenbeld.
If you read most of the reviews below, most identify scammers seeking money as being a reflection of the website. This is nieve. It is rather a reflection of the nature of the people indigenous to the country. This is a country where the majority of parents teach their children to constantly scream " give me money" to every foreigner. It's not the fault of the website. The website cannot change the over riding character of a nation of people. There are some genuine women on the website. If you chat with one thousand reasonably attractive girls, you are likely to encounter at least one. No one promised that life would be easy, hence the reason you are on the website. It's not the fault of the website, just as the idiotic stupidity that all people are Americans is also not the fault of the website. The world is how it is.
Don't waste your time on cupid 80% of the girls are fake. This is the same site design for Russian, Chinese, etc. They probably do a casting call to get all the free pictures
I joined FilipinoCupid.com as a one-month membership: Male / Single / ID: ******* (May 2021).
Seriously, about 50% of the registered Females are really Ladyboys/Gays posing as Females. In addition, around 25% of the Females profiles are totally just marketing scams to attract more guys - Models in Bikinis - which means only about 25% are real biological females.
I complained to the FC management team as this is not fair for the paying members (men) and for sure not fair for the biological girls who are also trying to find a man. FC allows this because it increases their numbers of registered 'females'. If you are a man seeking a biological girl then FILIPINACUPID.COM is NOT the site for you. This Site is a disgrace and a deception of what they market and promote it to be. The membership fee and time is totally not worth it.
Attached just a fraction of the thousands of 'Females' I encountered in FC - they are really gay men registered, dressing, and posing as females.
According to Sitejabber.com, FilipinoCupid has a consumer rating of 1.66 stars from 142 reviews indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. FilipinoCupid ranks 30th among Asian Dating sites.
These are just the Facts of how HORRIBLE FilipinoCupid.com really is - of course, we know Sally is employed by FC so instead of taking these reviews illustrated by the 142 people, and helping FC with their process improvements, she will just stamp one of her many pre-written comments and ignore the points of the reviews.

This is such a massive scam on the level I haven't seen before. FilipinoCupid has been a complete waste of money! First of all, you have to pay for everything and the costs are exorbitant. Then you have to sift through bunch of bots. Finally, 15 out of 16 women I interacted with either asked me for money for rent and phone or wanted to give me the "financial consultation" pressing me to invest money into some kind of "innovative project". They have a new approach to scam on FilipinoCupid, but it's still ridiculous!
Dear Ron'
We apologize for your unwelcoming experience. We have zero-tolerance towards members of the nature you described. Unfortunately, it is extremely hard for us to verify the real intentions of the members as most dating sites do not require any form of formal identification to register and most members use their private email addresses to communicate with members.
It is very sad that a small minority of dishonest people will make such a negative impression of our site, as the vast majority of the members registered with us are honest.
We do our best to remove these people from our site, deleting any profiles showing dubious photos or information, as soon as we see them, however, we also rely on our valued members who kindly report to us any suspect or fake profiles they find on our site.
In addition, Our fraud prevention team works 24/7 to remove non-genuine profiles. If you would like to report a suspicious profile, please submit a ‘report abuse’ form or contact us at www.filipinocupid.com/en/help/helpdesk
Please watch out for this girl and the so called family or gang members. The girl will trick you to buy laptop with wifi, then making excuse for no wifi for video. Then the family will invite you and ask you to pay for throwing the non-existing party. The grant entrance is for travel agent to fake the passport and asked for agent fee to get Visa for her. Then the father will ask for money to sort the mess. All the photos enclosed including family photo and forge documents. The two photo showing a girl crying are the actual person talking to you.
Dear Steven,
We are sorry that you have encountered non-genuine members on our app, we have zero tolerance toward these members. Our fraud prevention team works 24/7 to remove non-genuine profiles. This site will not upgrade your membership without demanding what they term "Government Issued ID". They will take your Passport or Drivers Licence, with the objective of using it for other purposes.
Imagine... you join a site and upgrade your membership using your credit card. Then, when they have your credit card payment, they will provide you with a message saying "Profile Suspended" pending your licence or passport submission.
Furthermore, if you wish to change your profile, for example a the day of your date of birth, they will ask for the licence or passport, but will not allow you to make changes to your profile even after 4
Days.
Be careful of this site. Half the female profiles are fake and men using female photos from Philippines. The aim of the site is to collect identity documents. Why on earth would a site ask flr drivers licence or passport after youve paid membership with your credit card - the details if which only you know.
Another disappointing fact is the site will not specify the gender of the members online - it will say 4000 members online - but in reality its 3800 men and the rest females. You will see the same female profiles in Page 1, Page 3 and Pages 5... of uour search.
Simply put: Scammer site.
Dear Dean,

I signed up and got between 80-100 likes within a day or two, but only about 7 had looked at my near-empty profile, alarm bells!
Then all those that did message me wanted my WhatsApp, Skype, email or Google hangout straight away, alarm bells! The one or two that did stay on the site to talk started the sob story after about 6 messages. Unfortunately, you are like a bucket of chum in a shark tank, even with the age-appropriate profiles!. I have no idea how the site can police this. To report someone you need evidence and that is why the profiles want to move off the site and on to something like whatsapp asap. If you ask them to stay on the site, they say something like, 'I don't use this site much' or 'am not on it that often'. Funny that, because they seem to be on it a lot? If you do sign up, well good luck.

The site is only there for one reason: making money without any effort.
This site contains hundreds of women who's only interest is to ask you money for their: rent, school, food, burials, electricity bill, load for their phone, doctor bills, hospital bills, wifi you name and I have seen it.
But besides that you have the African scammers which can be so easily spotted once you know but FilipinoCupid.com doesn't do anything to track them down even though the use the same pattern to scam people.
But the worst part is when a bimbo files a complaint which is always sustained by filipinocupid. In that case you can be sure that they will block you for as long as they like while your account isn't working anymore. And forget about refunds! And don't think that they will answer your complaints they will send you the same automated e-mails over and over agagin. They are just scammers driven by other scammers! RUBBISH

Most unverified posts with attractive people are fake and will ask for money. Although the site "permanently" deleted many they are back the next day
One to stay away from is Jacky Erpa user name Erpa. She has issued death threats and the site deleted 2 profiles but is back and they no longer take action. The site even verified photoshopped IDs of many people. For a free subscription it's entertainment to hear all the lies and scams but don't pay for this site ever

This site will not allow you to join without obtaining a scanned copy of your Drivers Licence or Passport or other "Government Issued ID".
If you submit it, your profile is said to be Terminated or Suspended and you will not hear from them again. Think where the details of your ID are being used or who its sold to. You could be used in anything in your country, Phillippines or anywhere in the globe. At the simplest level they can use your ID to purchase Sim Cards.
Be cautious and do not supply your ID to Filipinocupid.
Dear Andy,

I suggest let a member couldn't pay for membership verifies their identity to have an account. Otherwise don't let them in.
In this way lesser scammers both man and woman. And the newbies might thought this much more secure to getting in seeking their other half.

Asking for money, to travel to you, but of course never shows up or has 2000 different excuses. Keep chats on the Filipino site. Tehn you have eventual evidence and the site can lock them down. If you give them whatsapp, skype or whatever outside their platform, its going to be hard to prove. Keep coms on their platform, untill you know the person.
