Horrible customer service. Sent my item to the wrong address. When I called and asked why my shipment was being sent to an address I've never lived at or even knew, they said it was my fault because thats the address I entered (which I did not).
Customer service is rude. Do not order from this site if you want your items within 3 weeks
Slow slow order fulfillment! Takes them 4-5 days just to ship the order, and if you've opted for free shipping, get ready to wait another week after that. Unbelievable considering how quick their competitors have gotten. Pretty much just unacceptable for such a large company.
FALSE ADVERTISING?! I live in Canada, and don't buy online often, but when I saw that Piperlime offered "free returns" I felt more comfortable. I ordered a pair of booties, which I didn't totally love when I tried them on, so I sent them back using the provided shipping label, as instructed. Later, I was told I would not be refunded the shipping costs (approx $65) because I had actually bought the booties through an affiliate -- FiftyOne -- and their returns process was different. NOWHERE in the materials I received did it say I had to follow a different returns process, or explain what that process was, or else I would have. I feel this is a little bit shady. Further, I called their US customer service to discuss this (which was not resolved. I was told to contact Revenue Canada), I used their "toll free" number for residents outside the US advertised on their website. I was later billed by my phone company because this is, in fact, not a toll free number. Not impressed. Advise against buying from Piperlime, unless you plan on keeping your purchase. The returns process is bull$#*!.
Gap is such a great store. Their clothes are very affordable and nice quality. I particularly like the exercise pants I got from them. The site is convenient and has sale offers you can't find in the store.
This is an awesome store! There stuff is super chic. I especially love their shoes. I have purchased from this site on several occasions, and I have never had a problem. The delivery was always on time, and when I returned items for various reasons, it wasn’t a problem.
I just got my Marice Lacoste TBC's today, perfect timing too, I came home at 1 today and Fedex was right at the door! The shipping was hell speed fast, I ordered 4 pairs of shoes on Sunday night around 10PM, and one pair is already here on the same week (Tuesday) talk about service, I'm expecting the other shoes to come in around Friday! They're really fast and cheap considering the 20% off! Plus free shipping, what a deal, like seriously lol. My first time ordering anything online, super pleased :) would definitely buy more here.
Great online store. Great selection and godd prices. Their web site is very functional. I will continue to shop at the Gap on line.
I am so disappointed with Piperlime. I ordered a pair of Hunter boots and a pair of socks. They claimed to ship the entire order, but when I received the very small box they sent me, I found nothing but a pair of socks. When I called to ask them to ship me the boots I ordered, I was told that they couldn't "re-ship" them until they had conducted an investigation. When the investigation was completed, I was told, they might be able to "re-ship" the boots.
When I called back four days later, I was told that they had investigated and were now authorized to "re-ship" the boots. Unfortunately, they will now require a signature for delivery "to make sure I receive them this time." I received the shipment the first time; they just didn't pack my full order. But that's their policy and they're sticking to it. So now, in addition to the delay I've suffered due to (1) Piperlime's inept shipping and (2) Piperlime's policy requiring me to wait while they investigate before they'll consider completing my order, now I'll have to wait until I have a chance to drive somewhere to pick up my order after I receive the notice that the deliveryman was unable to leave it.
This frustration could easily have been avoided if the customer service rep I spoke to when I realized half my order was missing had simply apologized and promised to send the rest of my order right away, perhaps with express delivery (and without burdening me with their signature requirement). Online stores, especially those like Piperlime that don't offer a price discount, need to realize that their benefit lies in quick, home delivery. In this case, I have neither home delivery nor quick delivery.
My first order was my last. I'll stick with Zappo's from now on.
Though I prefer to do my shopping elsewhere, gap.com is still a place I check out for basics - plain v-neck t-shirts, socks, stockings, etc. Gap's always good for that. Actually, Gap body is quite good for underwear, pajamas and even sports bras. It's important to know your size before buying online because Gap can run small in some things and bigger in others. However, the quality is always pretty consistently Gap, and I appreciate that I can count on their customer service to be pretty good.
I love the huge selection of jeans that they offer on Gap.com.
I can't wait until they open a site in Germany!
Piperlime vs Zappos - If you really like Zappos, you will really like Piperlime. Piperlime is basically a copycat of Zappos - they offer the same free shipping and return benefits. Although Zappos offers more shoes (and products), Piperlime offers some different brands. Also, the site is cleaner and more contemporary looking which makes it more pleasant to browse their site.
Answer: During the pandemic, it is actually impossible. They do not have customer service reps and the call just simply says they cannot help you.
