Would have been good to know that CHW would not cover the repair, and I have a feeling that the tech already knew that. Found that the issue was created by Choice Home Warranty, and the installer was caught in the middle of a bad situation.
Choice Home Warranty like many others will go out of their way to avoid covering a claim, then when there's complaints, the great wall of silence goes up.
Met with James. He was very knowledgeable and experienced. The Haas doors have higher R values and are built better. Price of the higher quality Haas doors was competitive with quotes for doors of lesser quality from other vendors. Highly recommend James and Haas.

I found them fast, professional, and honest. Hard to come by these days. They tried to provide tech-support over the phone before dispatching a service tech and incurring any cost for me. When the tech did come, he called before hand as requested, carefully listened to my issues, and recommended solutions that worked great. A tuneup and eight rollers later it is working like new. I highly recommend them.
I talked to James on the phone, he knew exactly what he needed to do to fix the garage door. He gave honest opinion and price! Nick showed up on time and finished the job. He was fast and accurate :) I would absolutely work with them again!

Called for service one day and GDSR was here the next day by noon to replace garage door opener. Fast, efficient professional service. I received quotes from two other companies. Both quotes were $600 and only included opener, 2 sensors and remotes. GDSR quote included opener, sensors, remotes, a push button and keypad for garage door for less money than others quoted. The installer, Nic was cordial and explained entire system to us. Plus helped us download and app on our cell phones that serve as additional remote. Highly recommend this Father & Son business.
