9/2 This is an update from a prior review:
I had purchased a 3 piece suit for a wedding for this December. And when I received the garment the buttons on the vest were crooked. After going back and forth with customer service they finally agreed to fix the issue IF is paid for shipping for a return, which cost me $10, which I regretfully and reluctantly did.
I received the remade vest, however it had the same issue the buttons on the breast were totally askew.
Once again I reached out to them, and after a month of pursuit I finally got them to agree to a remake. AGAIN, they wanted me to pay for shipping to fix THEIR mistake. I refused and explained that after 6 months, I was no longer interested in paying them to get some tailoring practice in. I requested a full refund and to return their suit, which they declined.
BOTTOM LINE: avoid hockerty!
I bought a 3 piece suit and and the vest was poorly tailored( the breast buttons were totally crocked). They refused to tailor another garment fixing the problem, and only offered me a 20% refund for the vest.
I am still in the process of getting the issue resolved, I will update when the situation changes.
5/17 update: So after going back and forth for several weeks they are now willing to remake the vest. Keep in mind that even though it was their mess up, I WAS RESPONSIBLE for sending the garment back to them, which cost me about $10 in shipping. I will update again once I receive the remade vest.
Update 7/25: After sending rlthe garment back, they sent a replacement with the exact same issue. The breast buttons are once again crocked. I have reached out, again, to have the issue addressed and am awaiting a response. I will update again once I receive it.
8/30: I am no closer to getting my issue resolved. Ive sent and received about a dozen emails, going back and forth about the vest ans trying to get another replacement. Their last email indicated that the tailors didnt think there was any kind of issue.
I included a picture of the vest remake. It has a black button placed where the button should lay.
Never again. Made to measure shoes... not. Absolutely nowhere near the size I requested. I measured my feet accurately... have 5 pairs from other providers... all perfect 7s. These were at least a 9. They came a few weeks late. No refund available. Offered a voucher for 25% of the full price as reimbursement... or a remake. The remake takes a month. I work away from home, meaning that even if they do fit... it will have taken 6 months for me to wear the shoes from ordering them. Advise anyone you k ow not to use them. Glamorous advertising... p.ss poor delivery.
After carefully following the process, I received just dress shirt that my 12-year-old son would not fit into. As I was traveling and wasn't able to open the package for a few weeks after I received it, apparently there is no way to return or have re-cut a Hockaday product after 7 DAYS FROM RECEIPT! I have been unable to contact their service department, as they make it very difficult, very difficult to get any service support at all. Very, very disappointed in the whole process.
I ordered shoes in May and received beautiful custom-made black leather tassels. Unfortunately, they were a size too small. There is size differentiation in European, UK, and US that must be factored in when ordering shoes from overseas, as I discovered. Mailed the shoes back to the site of origination in Spain, at my personal expense of $66.00 U.S. The shoes were returned to me a month later, after not being claimed. After several emails with the representative, repetitive picture taking, etc, and another request to mail the shoes to Switzerland this time, I decided that enough time had been devoted to this endeavor. And took the loss. I will not be using their services again. I have learned that overseas purchases can have hidden costs and create many delays in communication. It is just not worth the time and effort. Maybe it was just this company, but I am wary of repeating such a fiasco in the future.

They do the same thing to everybody, they make a poor quality garment, send it out, and when you complain about the quality they tell you to go to a tailor. They refuse to give refunds and you will just lose money from this company. After looking into their reviews a but deeper, I found that most of their good reviews were obviously fake and the bad ones all had the exact same problem. Do not ever use them.
The suit i ordered arrived completely out of proportion, the customer service is basically useless, the refund is more than mediocre compare to the amount you spend and you only get refund on the alterations you've made to the suit and your to a certain point even so even on that you a losing money
Ich bin sehr enttäuscht. Habe für 800 Euro zwei Anzüge gekauft. Leider hat die Maße überhaupt nicht gestimmt, obwohl ich bei zwei unterschiedlichen Schneider*innen Maß genommen habe. Eine adäquate Anpassung war leider nicht möglich weil sowohl Sakko als auch Anzugshose in keinster Weise gepasst haben. Somit habe ich 800 Euro komplett in den Sand gesetzt.
Auch die Qualität des Stoffes ist generell nicht gut.
Werde nie wieder über Hockerty bestellen.
Absolutely horrible, 4 months to get an over priced cheap suit made in China. They screwed up my measurements and I had to pay to send it back. 3 more months, until they finally sent me a suit jacket back, no pants or vest just the suit jacket, which was the completely wrong style. Please, please, please avoid this company at all costs, you will regret day you gave them your credit card, I promise you!
My jacket was 2" too small around the chest, waist and arms. Unwearable. Colour not as online. The pocket wasn't aligned and looked like an after thought. I followed their instructions and took it to their recommended local tailor who told me there wasn't enough cloth in the jacket to make the adjustments. Hockerty refused a refund. I had to return it to them at my expense.
After a further 7 weeks I have received a jacket that fits and only needed minor adjustments to the sleeve length, which Hockerty paid for at a local seamstress. Overall, I'm satisfied with the finished product, but it took a total of 5 months (some delay due to Covid restrictions, but not all)
It's been six weeks and I placed a customer service email two days ago. I have heard no response and my event is next Thursday. A week from today and the suit has not even gone through quality control is according to their website. This is a really terrible service when you need something, I am very disappointed. I cannot speak on the quality of the suit yet, but hopefully that meets up the standard otherwise it's going right back. I really don't need the suit considering it is coming after the event I ordered it for… I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED in this horrible service.
I ordered a 3 piece suit couple months back, took them over a month after purchasing to actually start tailoring the suit, then after two month I only received the pants out of the three piece suit.
After you place an order they tell you to go ahead and disregard the 30 day delivery due to oversees shipping delays. When it finally did come, the pants weren't hemmed at all and the jacket was LOPSIDED! An absolute waste of time, a waste of money, and a waste of energy. Aside from the fact that I did get fabric in the mail (certainly not the suit I paid for) I'd say this is a complete scam.
I ordered boots at £185 and one boot had a nail into the soul of the boot so when you put you foot in it cuts your foot. Unbelievable?.
The other boot has a tab where you hold to pull the boot on and that ripped with one pull.
The whole concept of this company is workmanship and this is not my experience. The company's returns policy is terrible. Basically you go to a cobbler and get it fixed. Unbelievable. No reply on emails so how do you resolve?.
Do not buy from this site.
I ordered a suit 10.05 for my wedding which is 25.06. I'm still waiting for an order. After the first response the customer service assured me that I would receive the tracking code by the end of last week, but of course none of that, the customer service's second response was that my suit was on its way to Barcelona to arrive Thursday or Friday and then send immediately for Germany, and I say there is no theoretical chance that it will reach 23.06, since 24.06 I am going on a trip.
I ordered a suite from Hockerty well before the Shanghai lockdown. They quoted two weeks to deliver the item which would have been one week before they were locked down. There were delays starting production and the suit was not ready to ship before lockdown. As a result the event I have 6 weeks later where I needed the suit was missed and I had to source a local suit. Hockerty would not budge since production had started. 12 weeks later they send me a notice the suit had shipped. They missed the event date by 1.5 months and the quoted delivery date by over 2 months! Support (Marta) said there is nothing we can do. Avoid this scam of a company. I am glad I used a good credit card as I performed a chargeback which was successful. Such a scam! Not honourable, and not to be trusted.
I ordered a graduation suit to my son. Today I got it! I love this so much. It fits perfect. No concerns at all. I think we will order again soon. It took 5 weeks to make and 1 more week to be delivered in Canada with DHL. I love the system which helps you to make proper measurements just exactly on the website. All lines from the pattern of the fabric go just exactly right on the jacket and the pants. The fabric is just exactly how it was on the picture.
I just received my suit today from Hockerty. When opening the package the suit was folded in such a way that didn't leave wrinkles. My suit was a perfect fit, no need for the tailor, which I was very happy about.
The material was of high quality and craftsmanship. A great suit from Hockerty, and they have great customer service aswell that kept me updated through the whole process.
I had a really bad experience with Hockerty, I ordered different items. It took two months to arrive, one never really arrived. The other they just say: Well, it took a while but is not our fault, so here's your item...
Of course, they do not give money back, they have such poor customer service that they did not really care about the customer experience, they just say: "wait please"
Now I have a suite which I do not really need because I had to buy another one. So never rely on this kinda companies, I made a mistake in trusting them for my wedding,

Ordered a coat on March 25. It's May 26 still nothing. Takes a week or more to get response from them. Won't let me cancel. Haven't heard from them in over two weeks. Do not ever use this company. They are crooks.
Answer: Don't order from this company if you are looking for a quality product. If, on the other hand, you are looking for poor quality fabric, shoddy tailoring, poor customer service and a high price, by all means, order from this company.
Answer: Our delivery time is currently 2 weeks from the moment of online payment to home delivery. We need at least 15 days to tailor and deliver an order matching our standards. It is thus unfortunately impossible to reduce the delivery delay, even against compensation, we already are the fastest in market.
Answer: Because hockerty are thieves selling crap and if i am lying let them take me to court along with the thousands of other people that are being ripped off they use to be called Tailor4Less decided to change their name when complaints became to much spread the word they are crap
