I swear to god this is so slow and useless. Sure, the diagnostic can be good for determining kid's levels, but It's so slow and annoying. The lessons are flat out crap and they feel like they're spewed from AI. It takes so long and if a student makes a mistake it spends forty minutes explaining the question and makes the student work to find the answer at that point even though if they didn't get it, they probably didn't understand the steps, and it makes the student feel tortured because it keeps trying to get them to do the question without doing anything that would benefit, and the cutscenes just slow everything down. This is just me griping about math because reading isn't that bad it just takes forever like everything else.
I wasted so much time just to get low scores and I just hate on how our teachers force us to do this sloppy mess of a education app
I go to mckell middle school on bulldog lane kentucky i have to do 6 7 hawk tuahs and then give a skibidi blumpkin to 37 big black men then i see josh giddy giving a 16 yr old backshots what the sigma
This is a dirt program for sh*ty people my school forces me to use it and its giving me lessons that are clearly too hard for me please ban.
The lessons are annoyingly long, and that is only part 1 of the lessons! The other part is review, even though they already have a review for the first part. This is useless and should not even BE CONSIDERED AS EDUCATIONAL. If you like I-ready and it length of a lesson, then you would be lying.
I ready is horrible, all it does is make you feel insane, it makes me want to find the creator and put out a hit on him. We need to cancel iready because it makes you go down to the lows of the lows of the lows of the lows of the lows lows lows. For any teachers reading this it his the worst thing you could ever do to students. NEVER get iready it will be the death of every kids mental. NEVER EVER EVER EVER IN A MILLION YEARS GET IREADY PLEASE. This is horrible. Please please please please please please don't. My name is Owen and I can confirm this is trash.
I already wrote a review on this, but I'm writing another one because this is THAT BAD. Like, I swear this LITERALLY is the cause of depression. I AM 100% SURE THAT THIS STUPID APP HAS CAUSED MULTIPLE SUICIDES. The people who made this are disgusting. They try to hide the bad reviews on their website, and do a horrible job. The "good reviews" on their website are from bad teachers and principles who don't care about their student's mental health. And also, nobody likes it so bad that in the Q and A section, they answered a question about "is i-Ready really bad?" They said it was fine. These people will go to extreme lengths to get money for parents and schools falling for this trap. They don't care about helping students, they only care about milking schools and parents for money. And they barely tried to make this dumb app. It is glitchy as hell, and when you fail it makes you do the same lesson over again. They didn't even try. The same EXACT LESSON, they just changed where the buttons are a bit. Peak laziness. I hate these people so much. I hope whoever thought this was a good idea GO TO HELL. This company is the peak of evil, I hate these people so much.

I would give this 0 stars if I could. It sucks. Sure, it may improve scores, but my mental health is DOWN THE TOILET after this. In math, it makes it so confusing, and I could fall ASLEEP while they explain the problem at a speed of like 1 sentence per 30 seconds. And, also, in English some answers are literally SO MESSED UP. Like, it says the wrong answer is correct. And also, it asks questions about what the provided poem is supposed to make you feel. It's asking how it is trying to make you feel, and, basically, if you feel anything else then it is wrong. Poetry is supposed to make you feel things, but it's different what you feel for everyone. The district only wants to keep it because it improves test scores, but they don't care AT ALL on how it impacts mental health. I could write a whole essay about how bad i-Ready is.
If you're a parent trying to get i-Ready for your kids, DON'T. It's such a scam, spare your kid their mental health and don't get it.
This is all coming from a student who has to experience this. I'm not just raging, it actually is bad for mental health and stuff. Almost every review says what I'm saying in my review. It sucks and is horrible for mental health. And, also, teachers can teach more instead of i-Ready, since they can answer questions and actually make the topic understandable.
I ready is so bad that i rip out my hair and i eat it and then i $#*! my hair and then i throw it at my teacher than i beat the $#*! out of my class mates and a rape everybody. In other words it just sucks i would rate it a 0/5 but to make the review i have to put 1 star against my will it should be banned and it should die.
You see, I-Ready has shown a tendency to not save settings, has a lack of settings that could be helpful, such as your average "Skip cutscenes" or something setting or button. I know everyone loves Plory and stuff, but in G or H, you start getting some bull$#*! geometry for your cutscenes, and it just gets you out of the flow of the lesson. I can take a break when I want to by STOPPING, so stop interrupting my lesson. I-Ready has many bugs, like the soft lock glitch I found on Practice: Multiply and Divide Integers (Math) (Number and Operations) where if you click an answer for 17/5 or something after you already answers, it just dosn't allow you to continue, and if you're smart at math, but not tech savvy, you'll end up being confused and not hitting the reload page button. In short, the lessons are shabby, the cutscenes have no purpose after Plory is shot dead, and the settings are bare-bones.
WHYYYYY
JUST TELL ME I READY
THIS IS MAKING MY CLASSMATE
MADDDDDD
THEY ARE GOING TO CRASHOUTTTT
IM JUST TELLING THE TRUTH IREADY
I Ready is the most god awlful, brain decaying, IQ dropping website, probably ever known to mankind. The only thing that I've probably ever learned on I Ready is how to calculate the slope in which my sanity is going down using this piece if crap of a website. That stupid freaking voice sounds like if an AI asked the first draft of an AI to make a math program website using the flames of Hell to power it. I hope those coders and developers burn in the deep depths of Hell where not even Satan himself is allowed, I swear like even the name has improper grammar. I had a wife and kids before that voice finished explaining how to solve flipping 3 times 5. In the end, I Ready is... just no.
I actually hate this app so much oh my god it makes me want to drop out of middle school. I swear to god I'm not going to make it out of eighth grade. I hope the maker dies in a hole. I want to surgically remove their spine and shove it down their throat. FRICK THIS APP. Dojayn:3
I DESPISE I-READY AND ITS WHOLE EXISTENCE. I COULD MAKE A 10 PARAGRAPH ESSAY ON WHY I-READY SUCKS AND SEND IT TO MY DISTRICT, MY BAD, I ALREADY AM DOING THAT. FROM HOW INCREDIBLY SLOW THE LESSONS ARE TO THE HORRIBLE QUESTIONS AND HOW YOU GET TREATED HORRIBLY JUST FOR MISCKLICKING AND PUTTING THE WRONG ANSWER. IF I COU ;D GET RID OF 1 THING IN THIS WHOLE WORLD IT IS I-READY. EVEN MY BROTHER WHO DOESNT USE IT ANYMORE AGREES WITH ME, HE SAID HE DOESNT WANT MORE CHILDREN TO SUFFER, IF I COULD RATE IT 0 STARS, THAT IS NOT ENOUGH, IT IS NEGATIVE 12 STARS!
This thing is just pure s*ht and the creator should go to hell about this. I hope having a website that children are forced to sit through and crash out over everything is a good idea to you. Yeah this website made me wanna k*ll someone it is so bad.
I READY IS SO F****** BAD I ACCTUALY AM SO TIRED OF IT I HAD TO DO ALOT OF THINGS AT SCHOOL THIS WEEK AND EACH WEEK I HAVE TO DO 3 LESSONS FOR BOTH READING AND MATH AND I JUST WANT TO HAVE A GOOD TIME DURING THE WEEKEND AND IT IS THE WEEK END SO WHOEVER MADE I READY DELETE IT IT IS SO F****** ANNOYING AND LONG
I-ready facts your diagnostics nobody needs to take 300 millions years freaking years to do it. I shouldn't be crashing out over I-Ready pls fix ur godd%m app I-Ready I'm so tired of taking thirty eight million years to do one math lessons. Fix ur app pls do.
I as a student have had to use i-ready, and I as well as the rest of my peers find it to be a generally bad resource. It makes students feel bad about their learning process, as it gives you a low grade on the testing section for only missing 2 or more questions. It is also stress inducing, as students feel that they cannot make mistakes on this program because when you answer a question incorrectly, it makes you feel unintelligent. The graphics are mediocre, the diagnostic is too long and non-adaptive, the curriculum is underdeveloped, and the whole program is not beneficial to self esteem. The lessons also drag on and on, and yet are still confusing to students. It needs serious development, and before it is fixed, should not be used as a main curriculum.
I am a student using. I ready and it's bad because like they take to explain. What they are talking about I HATE THIS APP!,DO not buy
I am in the 7th grade, at APS Schools, and I have used many annoying online teaching tools. And through my experience with all of them, this is one of the most hated learning sites I can think of. I have gone to other rating websites, and the best rating I've seen for this website is 3 stars. My teachers assign me this stuff, and it's pointless. It doesn't match up with what we're going over in class, the math assignments take, at a minimum, 30 minutes, the reading lessons are too easy, and the diagnostic instills a sense of boredom and stress, as it doesn't tell you what you got right or wrong. And when you get a question wrong in a normal lesson, it treats you like a 5-year-old. And by that, I mean it steps a single question out for an extra 6 minutes when all you did was misclick. In conclusion, this is a bad resource, and I do not think schools should continue using it.
For starters it makes math lessons 100x slower then necessary like " I KNOW THE STUPID ANSWER I MISSCLICKED!" And my principle expects 24 kids with a combine IQ of 1 6 grader to do 2 lessons in math and reading + 45 minutes each and they both need to be 85%+ or it won't count. And that's from kinagarten to 8th grade I'd at my school mad a song for I ready " I hate you you hate me, we need to ban I ready it gives us anxiety and depression I ready is no fun, math and reading they were fun then I ready came along gave us stress as random info I ready is so dum. I hate I ready you hate I ready it hurts us mentally gave us trauma from answering incorrectly I ready needs to stop"
Answer: They don't care about your education they just want money
Answer: No day is the best day this is a 0 star rating learning app
Answer: My school made me. If I become a homeschool parent, then there is no way I'm using I-ready to help teach my kid.
Answer: I can share a "success" story when it gets banned, but until then, no.
Answer: Because SOME certain schools are stupid enough to trust a random website without actually investigating if it is useless.
Answer: Because they're evil company that don't care anything and yoop groomed me
Answer: The school gets forced to make it's students to do i-ready. So in terms, we're forced.
