I have subscribed to a number of dating companies in the past and Marina is by far the BEST
Match making advisor I have known.
I, frankly, was not very positive in finding a match at my advanced age, especially with the specific characteristics I sought in a potential partner.
BUT MARINA DID IT!

Working with Jaiye at It's Just Lunch has been a very positive experience so far. Actual date and the planning regarding the date was convenient and easy. IJL did all the reservations and communication. I just had to show up. However, I am frustrated and disappointed at the slow speed of organizing the dates and matches. It took 2 1/2 months to get my first date. And communication with matchmaker feels limited and equally slow.

I joined IJL about 6 weeks ago. My matchmaker is Marina. I have enjoyed working with Marina so far. She has a good grasp on what I'm looking for in a match. She chose a good match for my first date. We had a lot in common and were a good personality match. She was also very helpful in easing my anxiety related to going on a first date. She also gave me good advice on how to frame my mindset around this matchmaking process. She is always available if I have questions. I feel like she is genuinely interested in getting to know me so that she can find the best possible match for me, my person.

I have successfully met 6 people with IJL so far. They have all been very nice and I am enjoying my experience so far. Lisa is responsive and thoughtful and she has chosen women for me who I am compatible with and I look forward to meeting more matches.
All but two matches have been older than me by a few years. This is fine, although so far I've found I have a little more in common with women closer to me in age.

I was really impressed with my match. We got along great. I love how Jaiye coached me and followed up, and he seemed to care a lot. I'm just a little disappointed in the distance factor, which is why I have only 4 stars. I see positivity in the future however.

I went on my first "it's just lunch" date on 9/28/2025. The match quality was extremely noticeable difference compare to dating apps i have been using. I don't think the girl i meant click with me, so i hopeful for the next dating opportunity.

It's Just Lunch is a good organization that really attempts to match people based on their requests and compatibility. Lisa is my matchmaker and she is very professional. Lisa always gets back to me if I leave a voicemail or an email. Lisa really listens to what I am saying and finds me dates based on the criteria that I give her. I wanted intelligent, she gave me intelligent. I wanted cute, she gave me cute dates. It's not easy dating at age 45, but Lisa is in my corner and is really trying (and succeeding) in helping me.

My experience has been generally satisfactory. However, I have had several referrals that did not materialize followed by lengthy periods of no referrals. This is discouraging, especially since I try to be accommodating to my referrals. I like personally meeting the people referred to me instead of on-line. The other point: due to my life schedule, sometimes I cannot respond to your request for dates to meet a referral as quickly as IJL seems to want. I will get the "Are you available to date" email before I have a chance to read the original email. Then, when I do provide dates and times to meet, I find out that the person is moving in a different direction. A little more time would be helpful. Again, overall, it has been satisfactory but with the shortcomings described above. I do appreciate the efforts of executive matchmakers.

I first joined IJL 10 months ago. I enjoyed the on boarding process with Elizabeth as I was excited to get started with my next phase in life. I must admit that's where the fun stopped. After dealing with my first date advisor. I felt as though she wasn't listening to my concerns or inquiries, very mechanical approach, which I did not appreciate.
I then received a call from Lisa indicating she is my new date advisor. Lisa spent time getting to know me ask questions as to my wants and needs suddenly my dating experience changed for the better and I was excited again dealing with IjL.
After every date, Lisa would follow up with me and we will talk about it.
I highly recommend Lisa.
