Why does ixl exist.This is probably the worst thing to exist by far because of it's $#*! design as well as it's cruel punishments.

I'm in waskom and my teacher want us to do IXL AND NOREDINK AND IM SICK OF THIS I DONT DERSEBVD ThiS PUNISHMENT THis is BULL$#*! and when I try to do something for another class my teacher will tell me to do IXL AND I SPRED THE WORD TO GWT Rid of ixl and NoRED INK so every studen spred this word to your class IXL and noredink suck we don't derseved this as little ones.

IXL makes you do questions and earn points, sounds good right? Wrong because it doesn't teach you it only gives you problems, you can't make a kid do something they don't know how to do, teachers think its teaches students yet it doesn't. Also studies have shown it can cause severe anxiety and depression.

Im not even lying ok, and im a student in grade 9. I am the top student in my grade so there is no reason for the excuse that, "Oh, this person's just badly academically educated, that's why IXL doesn't work for her." Its not let me tell you up that straight. My school which has 1000 students trialed IXL and left it out 2 weeks after. IXL makes me literally want to kill my self and jump off a bride cuz it's absolutely hideously atrocious. I actually have FUN doing Cambridge Math Books which are like 16 centimetres thick. If my computer breaks don't blame me. Blame IXL

I am a 7th grader in Middle School and my school recently introduced IXL into their curriculum. I hate it, most people at my school hate it. The Smart Score System is too punishing and the Diagnostic takes far too long only for my score to drop every time I take it. I see people destroying their chromebooks all the time because of this. Not to mention the lawsuit on them over alleged claims of stealing data from all users who could even be me. Not to Brag but also to Brag but I have an A in all but 1 of my class (P.E somehow) but my IXL Diagnostic score does not correlate at all with it. I am in 7th grade and my measurement skills are 3rd grade level according to them. This is not as important but names for all the measurements of student preformence given to teachers by the IXL salesmen are really weird like "Starburst," and a bunch of other weird names that they don't tell us about. There are many reports about how it's bad for your mental health and other stuff and I think it's true. The Smart Score also turns homework that is 20 minutes long at max to 1 hour and 36 minutes. I am serious It took that long on 1 homework assignment. If you are a school administration member or teacher or parent reading this, please don't use IXl, there are cheaper and better alternatives.

I have read that this app should be banned from the world and I am here to protect you from this stupid app. At home it makes your parents feel dumb and you will want to bribe the principal of your school to get a ban on this stupid app. My experience with it has always been negative but I am trying to control my tears. 2 students switched to home school in Sebastian middle school so that they wouldn't have to get IXLs ever again. Please stop students from getting IXL homework and teachers from assigning them. Some even passed away and probably broke the law. So I'm pleased to let you know that IXL is almost banned all we have to do is sign all of the pitons to ban this stupid app and then 1 person should go to sue the founders of IXL all the way to the top of the court system. I just notified them about negative reviews and gave them a last chance to fix by June or may. Comment below if they haven't made it yet. It looks like they won't fix their mistakes. Also if your teachers give you IXLs and they yell at you for not doing them tell them you're protesting because this app should be illegal from the entire country.

IXL sucks let's all be honest after school I go home after my 7-hour school to relax then I remember I can't I have to do IXL I spend at least 3.5 hours on IXL weekly oh and the points part is rigged they give you 10 points if you get it right but if you make one tiny little misclick it takes 13 points and I have severe anger issues so I slap myself rip my hair out and punch myself over this stupid website it's the reason I have a 0% in my math class.

I had in math i had the exact same answer as it marked and it marked it wrong. Terrible website man i hate and there are no way someone can redeem themselves after getting it wrong and also it is one of the only apps the make have no confidence in myself

If I could give this app anything lower than 1 star I would those Stupid app caused Me so much stress when I was in school most teachers have no clue how to use it and it has an awful system that will give kids panic attacks for getting just a few wrong $#*! YOU IXL

Well, rumor has it they spend their days plotting to replace all math problems with riddles about why the chicken crossed the road. 🐔

There have been many many tears shed. I was at a 98 smart score and it went down to a 70. I swear this is what taxes are going to. Why invent such a terrible torture device.

It is so so annoying! I am so stressed and cried several times! I got a 80 and it went all the way to 70! Like it was saying chose what looks equal on all sides, and there was this shape that was sometimes and sometimes NOT equal. It was SOoo annoying! It wanted me to break my compputer! Yall shouldnt do IxL! Takes me FOREVER!

Im gonna cut straight to the chase, IXL is a very frustrating thing for a student like me to experience. The point system is very frustrating, for example, when you start the IXL, you increase by 10,7 points per each question you get right. And if you get one wrong, you decrease by about 3. But by the end, you increase by 3 or 2 points, and decrease by 7-9 points. This makes it so that students like me are stuck with 50 points. Learning platforms should make it easier when you try to achieve a goal. IXL tries to stop you.

Ixl has terrible point systems, causes anxiety and depression, uses repitition instead of teaching a better way, and doesn't give second chances. It caused frustration and anger problems for my child.

Ixl is very bad. When i click "need a break?" it takes me to another lesson. Its terrible. Gives me bad thoughts. Crash out
