The first time I ordered from them, I actually ordered the wrong screen. I ordered one with resolution too high for the laptop I needed it for. We contacted them and had no issue getting a refund. It took about 2 days after the screen was returned to get our money back.

I recently ordered a new screen from these guys and they delivered exactly what they said they would. I placed my order in Monday, product was shipped Tuesday and I got it Friday (I'm in CA so not too far).

I'm not sure why they have received 2 stars but as a computer repair shop owner, I know I will use them again.

I was just sick when I broke my laptop screen. When I found the website and watched the video, I had hope. Even though I had never replaced a laptop screen before, I thought it was worth a try. Especially considering how much money I could save over sending it out for repair. Sure enough, the screen arrived quickly and replacing it went exactly like in the video. And it works beautifully.

I ordered a display screen for a Dell laptop. Customer service is excellent! Very knowledgeable and can answer specific questions. I received my order in a timely fashion and was very pleased because some orders received from other companies aren't as advertised. This is not one of those companies... this is one of the good ones. Of course, I have bookmarked their site because this is a company that I will do business with in the future. I work on computers for a living. I highly recommend this company.

I ordered a screen for a HP laptop in Oct. I received it the following week.The only problem that I had was from the lap top alone. Getting the damaged screen out and the new screen in was the only problem I had. This laptop was less than 6 months old and I was very nervous on the quality of the screen compared to the orginal one. I am very happy to tell you that my son cannot tell the difference. I know there are some unhappy customers but I am not one of them.

Wow! So many negative feedbacks.
I would not bother to live a review but I guess the company desperately want to improve the rating and contacting all the customers with the request to leave a comment.
Unlike many people here I had somewhat positive experience. I did my research and ordered from them the screen for my 13'' Toshiba laptop. The package arrived 5 days later intact. The size and brand were correct. I installed it myself and, oh miracle, it's working, no dead pixels or black lines. The brightness and contrast is perfect.
The only thing that bothered me A LOT was that payment page (when you enter your credit card info) wasn't encrypted (it was http, not https) and I noticed it after the transaction. It cost me extra nerves and I wonder if situation is still the same. Anyway, I doubt I will use this website again just to be on the safer side.

Well, I am not a shill for this, or any, company. I did receive an email from them asking me to comment upon my purchasing experience with them (on this site). It was a reasonable request on their behalf. I rarely comment in public on my commercial activities, but an alternative viewpoint seemed appropriate. I did read the troubles that you all have had - and fair is fair.
In September 2010, my out-of-warrantee Toshiba P100 suffered progressive vertical-line pixel burnout... from a 4-line to a 46-line issue in just over a week. I contacted my local Toshiba repair facility and the TECH there said to try LaptopScreen.com because they have decent screens at about half to 1/3 the price of the Toshiba brands. He helped me spec the correct size/type for my laptop and I ordered that model from Laptopscreen. It arrived by courier in less than a week (now October), undamaged. I took it to the Toshiba Tech shop and they installed it in a few hours - and the unit has been humming along ever since, with no problems. I won't argue that others seem to have had problems - but I have not - and, yes, I would consider getting another laptop screen from the Canadian website (Vancouver?) from this company. Perhaps I was lucky, but my own experience was positive and that's what I have to use as a baseline to decide my future purchases.

Ordered the screen for a Dell laptop on Saturday, shipped Monday had it in hand by Friday(from Canada to pa, us). Was well packaged, screen was clean and had invertor already attached. Instalation was easy as the screen was exactly the one I. Needed. It's now 3 months later and still works great. Ver happy with the product but shipping was a little longer than I expected.

BULL$#*!! I ordered a new screen for my aunts old toshiba, nothing ever arrived, I can't even contact them! They just ignored my emails! Stay away, your better off ordering an extra screen (even if it is expensive) from the original manufacturer.

Worse experience i ever had shopping over the internet. I beleive this company is a scam! Purchased a screen for my gateway laptop.it worked for 1 hour! Then on top of the money i spent on the screen, shipping and insurance, im also out the 90+++ i spent to take it to a shop for hourly rate for them to tell me the screen is defective! Plus the 1000. 00 ive had to spend now on a new computer.

Hi, I ordered a 13,3 LED laptop screen replacement, and I received it in approximately one week, The screen price was good 76$, The shipping was quick but too expensive 45$ and I have payed extra tax when I received the screen about 40$.
Unfortunately the screen has a horizontal black line, Fortunately, The black line was near the edge at the top of the screen.
I can see that black line even when the screen is turned off. I think they never test their screens before shipping.
But at least the screen works and it was exactly the same model as the old one.

I ordered a Sony laptop screen, 13.3 inches from them. Six days later, I receive a screen for some 15 inch laptop. I was really disappointed. I called the company and tried to explain to the rep. He kept telling me "Go to the website", "All the details on the website". He didn't even want to talk about it; his time is so precious but my time is not. I'm giving them a week to resolve this matter and I'm getting my money back in full, or I will sue their stupid...,.

I bought LCD for my laptop and they charged me extra shipping for an insured ups shipment. I got my LCD in damage condition and when i notified them about this happening, rather then help me out they want to charge me another $15 to ship the damage item back to them. It is a worst experience i ever had with any company. I have no choice but to call my credit card.

Never order from this company, I received the wrong screen, the box was damaged and they are refusing an RMA so i have to spend the time to go through my CC to charge back. They have waisted 8 hours of my time with stupid emails. They are not a respected seller in my book esp when they choose to argue with the customers and not just apologize and refund. STAY AWAY

I ordered an LCD replacement screen for a laptop and received (after a long time) the wrong part and it had a bad backlight on top of that! I was told that I had to pay shipping both ways. I was screwed. They are slow to respond via email, and in person on the phone, they stick to the script. Poor customer service, slow shipping, and bad parts. Avoid these people. I guess I'm just a naive Midwesterner that expects polite, understanding customer service and companies that accept responsibilities for their mistakes.

They are the worst

They are the worst. I bought laptop screen from them. Received green and wanted to return it. They accepted after I paid the return fee. I sent back the screen and asked for refund. They paid 80% of the original price after deducting 20% of the price for restocking fee despite that the screen was bad. They are bunch of robbers! Never deal with them.

The reason the screen was green is because of the missing leads in the LVDS cable on customer's laptop.

Beware!

Beware! Laptopscreen.com is the same as screencountry.com and vancouver laptop inc. They did not ship the same day as boldley stated on website. Recieve screen 10 days from day of purchase. Opened box and screen has a major defect, has horizontal line accross it. Have been trying to resolve via webb site. Now they ignore my request for RMA. Bad people to deal with. Will be out $102 dollars. Do not puchase from them. Would recomend paying a little more and buy in the USA.

Ordered laptop screen on 31st of Dec. 2010, It is now Jan 6th and won't recieve it until monday the 10th. Laptopscreen.com implies that will ship same business day, not true. They did not ship until Tuesday and, they had payment since Fri.
The shipper UPS did actually get the package for shipment until Wenesday. UPS tracking say's delivery on Monday the 10th. What happened to the 3 day select delivery? Would rate the service poor for laptopscreen.com.

Please allow up to 2 weeks for shipping, if the shipment occurs during the last two weeks of December. Customers are welcome to request shipping refunds from the couriers via our support department.
