Trying to tell me what they can and cannot do in fixing a glitch with a cell phone number. Being an IT agent for a world leader multi billion dollar company, I know what can and cannot be done. In retrospective I should say can be done and will not be done because I won't take the time to do it. A simple cell phone number being linked to another account which has no link to the persons original account. Telling me they cannot fix it due to security reasons. Meaning, I will not help you, don't have the time or inclination to do anything about it. An IT pro can do anything he wishes if given the proper authorization. Then on top of it all Darwin C did not email me the transcript after mentioning that this issue would be brought up with a member the of legislature and hanging up to boot. Shows me that he was rattled when I mention the Legislature's name and the agents personal name would be the starting point in the issues conversation. Go figure. In a word, Lazada's customer don't care about service.
I've made 3 orders of a Motorola cell phone. All failed due to misconduct by the couriers. They never bothered to make a phone call to me as the address I gave is not in Thai. Lazada is a company with primitive facilities! Poor logistics, tracking system, update information, etc The 'tracking order' only provides the very basic info: packaging, shipping, and arrival without any further updates. Their guys at the help center only asked you not to worry and keep your phone on. They even don't have any direct connection to the carrier. So don't ask them where and what the condition is with your goods. They know nothing more than you. On the 8th day, the item is still not delivered. Lazada informed me that I am now their customer of priority! Oh, I am greatly honored! But where is my phone? Somewhere in the city. Why no phone call? The carrier thinks you are a foreigner and don't speak Thai. Finally, the order will be cancelled by Lazada before prior notice to the customer: just tell you when you are online that the cancellation is due to damage of goods or cannot be delivered. It's a joke!

They sell defective items by sellers who they know selling them. No honoring of warranties and they will lie and lie intl you get tired of their lies. You will recieve hundreds of junk auto emails about addressing your problem but iit is just a scam. Take your business somewhere else. This is the place to buy junk stuff that you don't care losing.

I ordered 5 pcs 2tb Flash Drives (Samsung) provided by the above seller. They are not as advertised as they will hold less than 15% of advertised capacity, regardless of formatting. After disputing their decision to not accept the return, I was advised by Lazada to return the items for consideration.
Lazada makes it very difficult to return anything as one must go to a local LBC office (which, at this time of year are impossibly crowded).
If a seller fails to provide satisfactory product, it is incumbent on them to make good on the transaction by picking up the faulty product and either providing a replacement or refund. Purchasers should not be forced to travel to some drop off point because of Lazada or Lazada provider error.

With pandemic they have limited staff to ship your order which lead to inaccurate lead time. I recommend that you purchase directly from company or local stores. If ever you decide to purchase from Lazada use the COD option.
I think that our government should intervene to improve online shopping experience. It's just not reasonable that Lazada will do the promotional campaign like 11.11 or 12.12 but they have limited staff to process orders.

Im a loyal lazada user, very useful platform especially now that theres pandemic. Last 11/11 sale I bought items from unilever amounting to 1700, because they have a disxount if u reach 2k worth of orders. Almost a week has passed and no update on the tracking portion, still "to pack" even though a week has passed and almost all my other orders which are comming fromChina has already arrived so I chatted the supplier and d CS to ff up, they said that its on itsway, after a day 2 boxes arrived but the content are all wrong, filed a refund for items but Lazada insisted that u need to return it b4 refund can be processed. Its just annoying that they are the one at fault but ur the one who needs to suffer d consequences. Untill Im now Im pissed whenever I remember theyre palpak. Haay

I'm so tired of Lazada. I stopped ordering from them for 1 year now as all of my orders were tagged "delivery failed" even though I confirmed that I will be receiving them both through calls and texts. Now thinking that they changed over 1 year, I ordered through them again. How naive of me. The $#*! that I experienced last year is the same $#*! I'm still experiencing this year. If you try contacting their customer support, they'll just give you generic answers with no real solution. And don't bother using their payment methods other than COD. You'll get scammed and a refund can take a long time or won't happen. I don't wish for any business to close down, but Lazada is one of those companies that should go bankrupt. GO $#*! YOURSELF LAZADA!

Lazada has by far not the same standards you may be used to when you deal with other big online sellers. Lazada has for example clearly a third world costumer service, with an totalitarian attitude and offensive arrogance.
Sure, you will always have some bad and unresponsive sellers from time to time, but than to deal also additionally with an bad Lazada costumer service and dispute team for only 900 PHP? In the last 12 month, we spent more than 200.000 PHP in Lazada, but still this attitude and offensive arrogance. Ya well, we don't need that and it gives me a headache. There are other and better options.

Lazada seems to be getting worse year after year, if it's not a poor quality product. It's being sent the wrong product. And I think my recent experiences has been the last straw for me. For example I decided to buy a Sram derailleur, instead the seller sent me a totally wrong product. The wrong product was a Shimano Ultrega, how can you get this wrong!? Doesn't make sense to me! Not only the inconvenience but the seller did not take any responsibly and without even apologising. I think the main issue for me is an apology, if you got something wrong, fine! But for a customer to ask for an apology from a seller is simply inexcusable. I am now still waiting for a full refund, something that is now taking weeks, the product that I bought isn't exactly cheap. I then decided to buy the same product from Shopee at half the price, the shipping was faster, the seller was very professional and it was the correct one too! So, how do you justify recurringingly bad experiences with Lazada and why should I continue to shop there? Sorry but no, word gets out and my bad experiences will always be talked about! Shame on you Lazada or Ali Baba!

JUST DON'T DO IT!
Instead of discounts why don't they weed out all the scammers peddling goods through their site and then being protected by the BS rule that it wasn't sent back within 7 days. Because of Covid some people cant get out of their homes. If an order for a phone case for a Galaxy S8+ is made and a case 3/4 of the size is sent then clearly the scammers are hoping there's no reaction for 7 days - FREE MONEY! Or if 8 wrong items are sent - a dispute is raised and it is agreed the wrong items has been sent and the SCAMMER is told to refund but sends a refund for ONE item - and Lazada couldn't care less. Clearly stopping the scammers will stop Lazadas commission - pathetic! I had given up using them because of the fake stuff they allow to be peddled and then their complete reluctance to correct the scammers crap - but unknown to me my wife ordered a phone case for her phone - the model of phone is in the description of the ad, yet a case for a phone 3/4 of the size is sent. Because of the dodgy phone signal where we live and the fact she can't get out except for two days a week because of Covid-19 the &%@#* at Lazada say it is longer than the 7 days allowed to return the item. ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS - the sellers and Lazada!

Im a regular shopper of Lazada but lately I am having problems with their courier and deliveries. To wit: 1. THEY WILL ADVISE YOU WHEN THEY ARE ALREADY ON YOUR DOOR STEP AND NOT AT LEAST A DAY AHEAD OR BEFORE THEY COME TO YOUR DELIVERY ADDRESS. 2. IF YOUR NOT HOME THEY WILL OPEN YOUR PACKAGE AND SABOTAGE IT. LIKE WHAT HAPPENED TO ME LAST WEEK MY P9K WORTH OF order S DELIVERED WITH OPENED AND TORN. PACKAGING WITH 1 ITEM. MISSING 3. IT WAS REPORTED BUT THE SAME GUY IS STILL DELIVERING MY PACKAGES. Its useless to make report. 4. Yesterday they come again and I was out. The woman from. Lazada asked me to pay via Gcash since I am not around but i am supposed to pay by COD. SHE ALSO THREATENED ME THAT MY PACAKAGE WILL BE RETURNED TO THE WAREHOUSE IF I WONT. 5. There has been no update for 13 days now and counting. They insisted that Ninja Van already got my package but when I contacted Ninja Van, they say they have not receive the package yet because Lazada won't release it to them. This is outrageous! I already paid it. Customer service reps are incompetent specially "Maribel" she just didsconnected the chat.

Answer: You can't tell from online usually. It's why have to purchase from reputable reliable vendors. Someone selling knockoffs, counterfeit and fake products will usually use the OEM specifications and often use the original OEM photos. I always read comments, reviews and most anything else about a seller/vendor to get an idea about what previous buyers had to say. I also look at the OEM website for a list of authorized dealers. Of course there is the "gray market" as well. Vendors who import authentic phones but they are not authorized so they wont have the OEM Manufacturers warranty. Many of these sellers/shops offer an in-house warranty and will repair phones in their own shop. Just realize they won't stock parts so even if they are decent people you may wait weeks for repairs to be completed. Most authorized dealers and repair shops will often just give you a replacement phone (usually remanufactured in pristine condition) or, if a simple repair, may have the parts in-stock. So your best bet is either use an authorized dealer or research to find one of the reliable 3rd party sellers. As the old adage (saying) goes "if it looks too good to be true, it probably isn't. If the price is well below what an authorized dealer or reputable shop, then it's likely it's not an original phone. You may have to save up a little longer to buy but in the long run its usually worth the extra money. Finally, I often look at the OEMs who either sell directly or use one of the bigger retail or online websites (for example, Lazada selling Xiaomi smartphones. At least you are dealing with a seller with written guarantees and refund/return policies that (somewhat) protect the Buyer. The only alternative is to either buy the lowest cost phones that won't break your savings if they break quickly OR buy from one of the Mobile Carriers (Smart, Globe, etc) Hope this helps. Good luck.
