Im 5'10 so I was so unsure of what size romper to buy to fit my length, but not be too big on me (I'm 146-150 lbs). I contacted the live chat and they were helpful with providing me measurements of the other sizes, but I was still unsure. I went ahead and ordered a large on a Sunday and it came the next Thursday! Of course I had to return it and order a small though. The lady on the phone when placing my exchange was very nice and gave me more information on the correct size. I again ordered it on the weekend (Saturday this time) and it came on Friday. This is to Maryland by the way. My free return label was emailed to me and I put it in the mail a couple days later. The only problem I would say is that it takes them a bit to refund your money. Other than that I had a great experience and already have in mind what i want to buy next!
I recently made a purchase from Lulu's for three times. When my items came, they sent three addditional items that I did not order. I called customer service and informed them of this incident. They seemed very thankful and offered me an online credit. When I received the credit, it was for $15. Not only did I find it a slap in the face but all of my friends did as well. Those items were worth $150 combined, and I was being extremely considerate by calling Lulus and emailing items of the photos of the items. If I were to send the items back, which at the point I'm debating because I feel slighted, I would have to take 30-45 minutes of my day to return them because I would have to find somewhere to print the label and drive to mail the items back. $15 doesn't allow me to purchase anything but clearance jewelry from their on their site due to the cost of most items, and for extent that I would have to go out of my way to return the items it's simply not worth it. Furthermore, I returned a pair of shoes that I bought because they were too big and they will not issue me a credit on something I paid for until I return the items. This mishap was no fault of mine, and theyre refusing to return a credit on something I am rightfully owed. As merchants, I am not required by law to return those items because they willingly gave them up, so refusing my refund seems pretty illegal. If I received a fair credit for my honesty and the efforts I would have to go through to return the items I would, but my time and honesty is worth more than a $15 credit.
When it comes to buying online, any girl would hesitate however, when it comes to lulus, I never go wrong. I have bought so many gowns/dresses and even hats and jumpsuits. It's always perfectly made and I always get complimented when I wear one of their dresses.

I ordered a dress and jumpsuit. I wore the dress once and the pocket ripped, after waiting on the phone for an HOUR, I was told to send pictures of the dress and they would either send me a replacement or my money back if the dress was no longer available. I sent my picture and I was offered 25% refund to fix the dress, that wouldn't cover the cost to fix the dress, I said I would prefer a replacement since they still have the dress in stock, I was then told that they don't replace merchandise that has been worn and would give me 35%. I'm honestly shocked that they wouldn't replace the dress and barging on how much of a refund they are will to give. I don't think I will ever purchase from them again.

It was my first and last order from this company.
I've ordered two dresses according to their size chart and one was big and one was too small. I mean, what am I supposed to buy?
And don't be fooled by their sweet talk when you live chat with them before you purchase. I had a really long chat through live chat to avoid any hassles expressing my concerns about sizing and returns after I read reviews from this site. They were incredibly nice and seemed reliable. Well because it was before they got my card number!
I returned the dresses the same day I received the package and they received the package today. The tracking number says it's been delivered but I didn't see any change in the return status so I live chatted which I failed the first time. When I got to talk to someone named Heather she said who was nice when introducing herself in the beginning, just didn't bother to fake nice once I asked about return. She just said 'May 15th' when I asked when I will get the refund. That was it. Didn't want to bother herself. So I asked her if it takes 15 days to issue a refund and when they process their return packages and she just said it's because they are having Spring rush.
Oh well that's it. Because of your incompetence or short staff or whatever the reason it is 'yours', I have to get my money tied up eh?
I even signed up for mail because I thought their clothes are cute and wanted to be a regular and I get their mail everyday. But they just completely lost not only my business forever but my confidence in online shopping.
They just ruined it for me.
I hope you make a lot of money with all the money you are unfairly holding from your customers...

It was my first time ordering form Lulus and I fell in love with the dresses. I ordered a few dresses for my upcoming graduation and when they arrived I tried them on and I didn't fall in love with the dress is as much as I thought I would. I went online to return it which was pretty easy and I ship the next day. A week later I tracked the package to find out it had arrived at the headquarters. I quickly checked my email to see if I got an email to confirm The arrival and I hadn't received anything. I let a few days go by, I kept checking my emails and my bank account to see if I have been refunded I tried emailing but I haven't been contacted. This same thing happened with my second order I placed shortly after my first order, I am currently waiting to be refunded over $200. I don't think I'll ever order from here again.
Please I just ordered from them and I really hope that it doesn't not arrive past the end of may my prom is June 2nd i really need this to be on time. And I hope the size is right I ordered x small and it was the only one left so please I really hope I don't get some last minute email telling me there aren't any left in stock. I have had the worst time dealing with returns from Lulus. I have spent almost three hundred dollars here thinking returns would be easy. Nope. They received my return package for my order on April 12th and I have not received one email regarding my return. It's like nothing even happened. I'm so disappointed because their clothes are so cute and would totally continue to shop here if their returns didn't suck so bad. Having a good return policy and following through is key to online shopping. Will be warning my friends and family about the scammers that run this site unless I get my money soon.
I ordered several pieces of clothing over a month ago. The day i received the package one of the dresses was ripped and looked worn, with the tags being taken off and then one Lulus label being safety pinned back on the dress. I decided to return it along with some of the oyher dresses and a pair of shoes ordered, and proceeded to start the return process the same day. A few days later, April 5th, i was able to get to the UPS store to return the items (within the 10 day free return timeframe). I just yesterday reveived confirmation that they have received my return and now i have to wait several more days to hear about my refund. This is horrible! Almost a month to receive my refund and not to mention no compensation for the worn, disgusting ripped dress that was sent to me in the 1st place. Customer service itself has been fine, but the return and refund of merchandise should not take this long. Never again!
Update: I did receive a refund email shortly after writing this revew, so kudos to them for finally taking care of this return/refund. Much appreciated Lulus.

This was my first time purchasing through Lulus.com. I loved their selection of clothes, especially dresses. I found a couple dresses that I wanted to order for my graduation and graduation pictures. I ordered them 3 weeks ago now and I have yet to receive them. First they shipped my order to the wrong person, which I then had to wait for it to get back to Lulus which took over a week. Then when I was trying to find out when they could get my order to me, someone refunded me without me asking, which I then had to call and get sorted out since those items are now out of stock. They finally received my order in the warehouse 4 days ago and have yet to ship it out. When I called about it for what seems like the millionth time, they claimed that they are weeks behind and have thousands of items to go through and I am putting them even further behind by them trying to locate my items (items that they lost in the first place). This whole thing could have been avoided had they actually shipped the proper orders to the proper person. And now they supposedly can't locate my order in the warehouse. So maybe if I'm lucky I will have my items by graduation, though I've had to cancel my pictures. Good thing I ordered a month in advance. I will not be shopping from here again and I will advise my friends to not shop there either.

I had ordered $130 worth of clothing, shoes and jewelry from Lulu's for prom. I received everything at a timely manner (I paid extra for 3 day shipping though). Once I received the dress I found it to not turn out like I wanted it, and started a return to send back the dress, shoes, and a jewelry piece. I packaged those items up and put a shipping label on it myself. A couple days later I personally dropped the package off at UPS, and even received a receipt for my package drop off.
The next week I was contacted by Lulu's saying that instead of my return they received textbooks. Textbooks? I wouldn't have put textbooks in my return package, I didnt even have textbooks around me at the time I was packaging everything up. Either this is Lulu's fault, or UPS's. Either way, I've reached out to both companies and so far neither one has been able to provide me with an explanation as to how this occurred. I'm furious that I'm now out $130 with nothing to show for it. I no longer have the items, and have no idea where they are. Now I'm expected to pay for the "return" of the textbooks, even though they are not mine. Everything on my part was done correctly. Everything on theirs? I'm not so sure. This was my first (and last) time ordering from them. (1 star).
***EDIT: After this review I was contacted immediately by a Lulu's representative. After I got her message I called her and she let me know that she'd do her best through this case. Knowing that someone was handling it all made me feel at ease. Now, a week or so later, they're still reviewing this case but I was refunded. Thanks for your help, Karen! I appreciated it a bunch!

I have been ordering from Lulus for a while now and have ordered tons of clothing from them. I have never had a problem with returning clothing or exchanging. I recently received a pair of pants that tore the first time I wore them. I reached out to customer service unaware of what to expect and I must say aside from them responding quickly, they really wanted to make everyting right. Thank you so much Lulus! I reached out to the Lulu's customer support team multiple times (at least 5-6 at this point), and I have gotten slow responses, evaded answers, and lack of resolution.
I was supposed to be sent 4 items in total. After I place the order, 2 items are placed on backorder. Since then I have tried to get an accurate refund for about a month. Lulu's has an incredibly inefficient and error-prone returns/cancellation system, which is causing incredible frustration despite my following the required process exactly. Lulu's needs to give me the refund I am due.
I returned the 3 items I was actually sent, even the backordered one, within 2-3 days of my receiving them. Yet, Lulu's is still trying to charge me return shipping costs on what should be free return shipping and also trying to claim that they haven't received items that I returned in the same package as another item they said they did receive. During this process I have faced no less than 3 errors on the part of Lulu's sales/returns department, so it is safe to say I am not convinced. I have bought online for years, and never faced such unhelpful customer service, except maybe the 1-2 unscrupulous sellers on eBay. This is the first time I have purchased from Lulu's. I have so far been refunded less than half of what I am due and have now reached out to PayPal to try to get a better resolution.
--- update: after leaving this review someone from Lulu's did help me find a resolution, so I am now very happy with that. Finally, I can put this situation to rest, and I appreciate their courteous tone throughout the ordeal.
I really like ordering from Lulus. The items are good quality, they come quickly, and the customer service is good. This is a nice company to order from. The customer service is amazing.
Honestly, their clothes are really cute and i could spend hours browsing the site. My first time shopping here, I bought a dress for an event with express shipping and my order came in exactly 6 days, it was very cute and material was great, but the size was too small - so I exchanged it. My exchange experience was horrible, first I was on hold for around 20 minutes and the worker incorrectly put in my order so I had to call again and wait another 20 minutes for them to fix it. Again I bought express shipping ($35 freaking dollars in Canada), knowing it would come in around 6 days. HOWEVER, its been almost a week and my new order hasn't even left the warehouse. Talked to customer service multiple times and they are NO HELP, all they did was reiterate facts to me I already knew, telling me "it might ship out later today/tomorrow" and they don't have any answers to my question. Wasted my money on express shipping for a dress I can't wear to my event. NEVER shopping at Lulu's ever again.
EDIT: Karen from customer service reached out to me and provided a refund on my shipping costs! Excellent customer service even when I wasn't satisfied. Thanks Lulus!
Answer: DO NOT ORDER FROM CANADA! They will charge you an insane amount for duties and taxes! I bought 2 dresses worth about $70 CAD each and I had to pay $68 CAD in duties and taxes! I've ordered from many other American companies and online stores and I've never ever paid this much is duty or taxes!
