MSN blatantly encourages hate, by forcing you to read from the same hateful people everynday since you cannot block them. I guess, in some warped way, it makes sense as they can sell advertising at a jacked up rate based on numbers. From what I can tell, moderation is nonexistent or automated at vest. Moderation seems to be based on key words, with nobody checking the content. The hatred and racism on this site has forced me to look elsewhere for my news.

When you click an ad that catches your eye you expect to read what you clicked on, nope! Fake antivirus scam page loads and making inexperienced users freak out and be scammed. Report the post, still the same, 3 months later, same ad, same page. Reported it now hundreds of times. I am starting to think they are the scammers themselves as this is allowed to go on. Major lawsuit to slap them into reality? Seems like a very feasible idea since there is real harm involved.

Too often MSN blocks comments on statements of fact related to religion, slavery or history. For example I tried to comment on the living conditions of the majority of folk in this country during the period of slavery and how the common people were repaying loans taken out to recompense slave owners through taxation until a few years ago. This was found unacceptable. Why? When it is a fact.

Your content has gone to the dark side. All I see now are Right Wing news site articles and articles about former president, Donald J. Trump. Nothing positive, only clickbait articles intended to sow discontent.

MSN News is an aggregator of news feeds from many varied publishers. The site also allows readers to post comments... well, sort of. MSN has "guidelines" that they supposedly enforce in order to weed out offensive or threatening content. The guidelines are so broad and general that almost any post can be suppressed. What MSN really does is match each post to a list of key words looking for words that may be objectionable. If one or more are found, the post is subject to review. The poster is not allowed to protest and is not provided with a summary of what the censors found objectionable. If the post is found to be objectionable as a result of the review, it is deleted. The poster is able to request another review in that case. What's worse, MSN routinely disables readers' ability to post comments on hot button topics. Again, no explanation is given, the comments icon simply disappears from the article. MSN has to stop treating readers like children. They have to accept that discussions are going to sometimes be heated and absent posts containing threats, racially/gender offensive insults or petty name calling they should just butt out.

Not real journalists. Driving the continual liberal lunacy in this country. One the premier fake Propagandists agencies driven by the liberals. Ruined America with its narratives. Purportedly self promoted as real news, but not real journalistic work. Narratives are sensationalized for content picked out by liberal editors from our most liberal ivy league universities. Their style definitely demonstrates that mind control in universities work. Each news story is driven by the KKK Democrat false narrative that kept women from voting for 41 years and hold black people in inter-city slavery to this day.

I watched live streams of the Freedom Convoy to get unbiased information, not to pick sides. I watched MSN misrepresent that story to present a propaganda narrative against Canadian citizens. I can now vouch from a place of objective facts, not opinion, that this is not a reliable news platform.

Is Microsoft a supporter of Putin or something? Ninety percent of the stories on MSN news now is about Russia and Ukraine and they will not allow comments on any of those stories. Make a complaint about this on another story on the site and they remove it, supposedly for violating their terms. It's pretty disturbing how many dot coms and social media sites do not believe in free speech anymore. Do not believe a word that they say, it's not about removing trolls or making their sites less toxic, the power has gone to their heads and they want to control what people think and say.

MSN says they filter junk mail out of your Inbox. But all they're doing is placing disgusting advertising emails into your Junk Mailbox. And, because they occasionally filter emails you want to receive, you have to scan through 150 disgusting advertising emails per day looking for emails you don't want to miss. Like emails from a doctor, or friend, or a trusted company you want to hear from. MSN has been urged to stop this disgusting practice for many years, but because they don't want to reduce the advertising revenue they likely receive, they do nothing. They don't even give its users the ability to design their own filtering mechanisms so this disgusting email doesn't go to their Junk Mailbox. Take a vacation, and you'll be scanning through 1000 emails in your Junk Mailbox when you return. Disgusting!

The AI that moderates comments will block you from saying the phrase "Why are you" regardless of what comes after it. It prevents you from making comments about race, even when the article is specifically about race. It blocks comments that I honestly still cannot figure out a reason for. I don't think there even are human moderators involved, because it will prevent you from even posting a comment it has determined is inappropriate, never giving a human other than you a chance to even review it. It's an absurdly overreactive system, especially for a media company that posts inflammatory news articles and then facilitates discussion of these extremely polarizing topics. Apparently, everyone is just supposed to talk about how much we love puppies and kittens in the comments after an article about a mass shooting or discrimination.
