They do not stand behind their product. From the start the plant did not take and I have been in contact with them since original plantings. They now will only give me 50% of another plant. They should replace the plant that was not viable to take. But after many emails they do not stand behind their product. If it dies your held with a dead plants and have to purchase new ones. Also they are very tricky with their language and never will they admit in emails they will not replace the non viable plant. Go else where!

Plant was shipped to me upside down which crushed it and I was told to plant it anyway. No refunds!

I ordered a "Beauty of Moscow" lilac last summer. It did arrive alive, I'll give them that. It made it through winter and it's blooming now. And now I'm PISSED! Does that look ANYTHING like "Beauty of Moscow" to you? LOL What a ripoff! They stuck a tag on an I-don't-know-what with itty bitty flowers and think that nobody will notice! The third picture is a real "Beauty of Moscow" from the internet. All you get is "open a support ticket". You open one, but you can't view anything unless you made an account before. You make an account and it still doesn't let you view anything. It's like they go out of their way to block you from actually interacting with them. This was supposed to be a centerpiece in an arrangement I planted right in front of my house. Now what?

Order a 6ft bare root maple tree. It came rough but we followed instructions to plant it (mind you we ordered a few trees). This spring I noticed it looked the same and never had new growth. We followed their guidance and determined the tree was indeed dead. They said they would give me 50% of the value towards a replacement tree. They now raised the price of the tree to 2.5x that of its original cost and will only give me 50% of what I paid initially. It would cost more than $100 to try and get the same tree and size and their '50% coverage' isnt even enough to offset shipping. They wont honor the tree price so this warranty is useless. I was told i could use the '50%' towards a flower instead...

I spent $616 for 5 seedlings put in #3 gallon containers. I will not purchase from Nature Hills again.

Search for these Modesto ash trees locally no one Carried so went online and bought these 3 they got leaves and are good to grow.

My name is Marco Aguayo I ordered a lilac shrub and it came well boxed and intact no complaints I put it in an outdoor big planter I can't really give any further information I will give it time to grow and see what happens I would order from them again

Plant delivered late in year. Plant did not have time to build up defense for winter or any type of growth...died over winter.
Delivered on 8/22 which late fall early winter. Why so late? Don't know!
Now only guaranteed half money spent on this dead plant. NEVER AGAIN!
Do not recommend purchase from this company.
Like a used car salesman, they try to sell extended over priced insurance policy.
Terrible customer service and guarantees.

We bought 5 bare root plants and only 1 lived. Fortunately, we had paid the extra money to get the Warranty. However, we found out that we would have to pay a higher rate to ship the replacement plants than their standard shipping. For a replacement order on a credit of $75 we had to pay $30 for shipping! Be careful buying from this company.

I was so disappointed with my purchase I lost a red Japanese maple to a disease that went through our neighborhood I replaced it with this one with this tree I purchased from you. The trunk was a L shape.at the bottom. So bad it couldn't be planted straight.I'm an elderly person and my nephew was here to plant it. He went ahead and planted it and said. He did everything right but he doubt it would live. I won't order a plant online again. It. Hurts me to give bad reviews to anyone.

We purchased from Nature Hills Nursery because, according to their web site, they had the number of plants we needed in stock. So we placed the order and the confirmation stated they would not ship until Spring 2023. I called customer service and asked why they stated they were in stock when they weren't and they said they were in stock, but that they just wouldn't ship them. I then asked them to cancel my order and they informed me that they would be charging me a 10% cancellation fee. When I questioned the fee they told me that if I had clicked on the 'growing zones' button, it would have told me they wouldn't ship until spring. They have deceptive business practices. Buyer beware!

My tree was packaged securely and arrived with strong green leaves and a healthy trunk. Now (about 6 months later) it is blooming everywhere. I live in a climate that's still
Warm so this is prime growing season. Would absolutely purchase from Natures Hill Nursery again

The plants that arrived looked nothing like the web pictures. They were on death's door on arrival, and did indeed die shortly thereafter. Granted, I ordered them very late in the season, but if they weren't healthy and it was too late to plant, they should have refused the order. The plants also arrived in pretty beaten up boxes. I will not use this vendor again.

Easy order, reasonable price and very healthy specimens! Well packaged and ready to plant in late summer. I'll be anxious to see how these goldenrods come out of the winter season.

Plants always arrive on time,some that died were replaced for free.great service,i'll be back in the spring!
