The pants i bought from you are a fantastic fit and quality. Love them!

I have a few pairs of the Women's "V1 Explorer" Summer Pants and a pair of the Women's "Adventure" Water Resistant Pants V1 for the winter months. They are quite simply THE best hiking pants I've owned hands down. Comfortable, durable AND affordable. I have purchased pants from "elite" outfitters and am appalled at how flimsy they are. I'm not sure when fashion started to out-trump functionality with women's hiking gear but I am thankful Northbound Gear hasn't succumbed to this disappointing trend. Great work Northbound!

Purchased ice grips they came with no label or size on the grips, very thin rubber which broke in to places on first wear which was on snow and ice. We were not refunded only given a store credit.

The products are great but returns are paid for by customer and the original shipping takes forever.

I ordered pants and was quite eager to get them. They took much longer to get then I was expecting, as they were shipped from China. When I received them, I was happy with the material and I'm sure they would have been very high quality, but the fit was not good. They were huge around the waist, ( the waist band sat out a good 2" and they puckered at the hips. Then when I went to return them, I found out there was a 5.00 restocking fee and I had to pay to ship them back.

Ordered 2 pairs of pants over a month ago. Still have not received. Northbound gears answer was to have me spend hours on the phone with the post office and still unable to find. They also refuse to refund by money. Very dissatisfied with how they have handled this. Will never use again.

I'd expected 'water resistant' trousers to keep my legs drier in light rain for longer than 10 minutes. Sadly that wasn't the case.

High quality construction, attractive stitching, flexible and warm.

Ordered a jacket in my size as normal,jacket came and was about two sizes less.

The Adventure pants (high waisted) size 6 are super baggy in the front crotch and hips. They fit fine elsewhere but I was really disappointed with the fit. They said I was a unique size, but I am a 6 in Lulu and 6 at Banana Republic, so I'm not unique. I sent a video to Northbound Gear to show them and they couldn't do anything. They offered a credit or a return. Beware of shipping costs… very expensive to ship them back. Paid $22 to ship them back. They were kind enough not to charge me the $5 restocking fee.
I won't be ordering online from them again.

Easy to understand and use website to place the order. The order confirmation emails were timely and the items arrived on time and in good shape.

The owners/employees have sent very polite messages. But only when prompted by me.
There had been no update messages about the status of my order, unless I pushed.
Also, the product has not been delivered after 4 or 5 weeks.
I'm worried that if the product does not fit me, it will take more weeks to return the item and receive a replacement.
I really want to like the product.

I purchased their Men's Adventure Water Resistant Pants, very comfortable, fit true to size, great for outdoor recreation in fall or winter, probably too hot for the summer. Only drawback for me was I felt it took too long from when I purchased them online to when I received them, over two weeks.

I made 2 orders in 2 days. The second order got here in 2 weeks, but the pants were way too small even though that same size fits in other brands. I had to pay the postage for the exchange. Still waiting for that to show up. The first order took a month to arrive. I checked in by phone twice but got not-so-great service and no follow up. I checked again by email and that was better with good follow up. I ordered a size too large and they fit okay. The legs are perfect but the butt and waist are loose. I'll keep them and use a belt. Don't think I'll buy here again.

Quality is so far great, although disappointing to see a company with seemingly high environmental standards now sourcing out to China like everyone else :(
