Bought a Kenwood stereo from these crooks, didn't work when I took it out of the box. Never worked! Called the company they charged me shipping to send it back. Then said they discontinued that model, wanted me to pay shipping to get a replacement and they wanted to charge me $20
More for the newer model. All total, it would cost me $65.00 more just to get a stereo that worked. Stay clear of this company. They are rip offs!
I was trying to log in to my account which seem to be locked by this guy who works the phones for this company. I assume he didn't like my email address and he wouldn't reset my password unless I changed my email account.
Also wouldn't let me speak to anyone in charge.
I ordered a car stereo and install kit. Online car stereo only shipped the stereo. I called and told them I don't need the stereo without the install. Reply to bad. I refused the package at my door. Online car stereo then charged me 76.48 shipping and 10% restocking fee on a 500.00 dollar radio. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY IF THERE IS ANYTHING WRONG WITH YOUR ORDER!
I ordered a set of tweeters. When they arrived, they did not fit my application even though they were recommended by Crutchfield. Anyway, I submitted an RMA and returned them unopened. Over 30 days and several emails, still no refund.
Ordered "brand new" speakers. Got an unsealed box of mounting hardware without the speakers. (!) Paid $140+
Escalating with the vendor and PayPal. Notice how your credit card has trouble working? They want you to use PayPal because they get the money right away, and it's way harder for you to get your money back.
Nobody else had these speakers, because the company (JL Audio) is set to release updated product lines. Needed to match the speakers already in my system. Took a chance. Got screwed. DON'T DO IT. Hopefully you see this review in time.
I feel they are a shady company. I had a radio fail less than 2 days and had to pay to ship it to them and pay for them to return. Which it's not my fault the radio was defective. Buyers be aware. For me I will never buy anything from them again.
Do not order fro. This company. They give you the runaround when you ask for a refund and try and give you store credit. Trust me! Do your business and give your hard owned money to a reputable company! 0 stars from me.
My item was returned a week ago company doesnt respond to emails or pick up the phone. Filed a complaint with paypal they wont respond through them either.
Something is not legit about this place. They have ZERO customer service skills and sketchy polices. BUYER BEWARE!
I purchased online and it said Special Purchase, but it only said that and unless you clicked on that tab you did not know it can take 2 weeks to arrive. And nowhere does it say that you cannot cancel the order. I called 2 minutes after I placed the order to insure that it was in stock and they told me I could not cancel the order. If it did not arrive in 2 weeks I could return but would have to pay shipping and $20 restocking. Unbelievable.
I would give them a zero if i could! OnlineCarStereo is by far the worst company I've delt with. Stay away and don't spend your money with this company or you'll regret it. I ordered a custom speaker box and was sent the wrong box. They refused to exchange it and I am now stuck with something I can't use. I guarantee you'll regret doing business with them.
Simply put there are many other reputable companies out there which you can buy from. Avoid using this car audio seller at all cost, or it will end up costing you... ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE TO RETURN AN ITEM! Learn from my mistakes and avoid them!
I ordered 2 pair of Infinity Kappa 86cfx 6Ă—8 coaxial speakers. I was a little worried because the majority of the reviews I found are negative. I put my order in around 10pm 12/31/2019 which was late at night. I still received an email from them confirming my order. I was happy considering it was late night on New Year's eve. That Friday I was worried about the time my order was going to process because I hadn't received any tracking information so I called. Once my call was answered I asked if I was able to pay the extra $ to change my shipping to 3 day instead of ground. I was told that if my package hadn't shipped yet that yes I could. He checked on the computer to see where my package was. He came back to the line and said hold please, I'm going to look in the warehouse to find exactly where your package is. 3 minutes later he came back and said sorry sir but you package is already wrapped up in a full pallet waiting to be loaded and he couldn't see my package around the outside. That put my mind at ease that I would have to wait forever for my package. I asked him to send me the tracking # by email when he could. A few minutes after hanging up the phone I got an email from Dan the customer service provider I spoke with detailing the phone call and giving me the tracking information. Today 01/08/2020 my speakers arrived at 11:50am. I opened the box and checked the packaging from Infinity and saw no extra tape or markings that made me think that the speakers maybe B-stock or factory refurbished. Just brand new grade A beauties straight from Infinity to online car stereo to my door at the cheapest price anywhere. Do not believe the bad reviews. Online car stereo is legit and I would no doubt order from them again!
Beware, they cheat when you return things. Charged me twice for shipping cost and restocking fee which is not mentioned in their return policy.
Ditto, ditto, ditto to the person who wrote NEVER to buy from these guys if you have to return something. I paid out of my own pocket to do that. They then robbed me of@ 33% of the value of the product I paid. Then had the f**king nerve to issue me a store credit -- NOT A REFUND -- that I have to call a NON-toll-free number to use... it's not possible to do online. A pure rip-off, and quite pathetic considering it was for a product under $40!
I purchased a remote for my boat stereo. They quoted 1 to 2 business days to process.
An hour after I placed the order I realized I bought the wrong part.
I immediately emailed them (since they have no ability to cancel it online) and cancelled the order.
It took several days before I was emailed back and was told you must call to cancel the order and that the item was already processed.
I then had to fill out a form and send the item back. (a paper form? Really?)
After two weeks of them receiving the package I still did not have my refund.
After 3 weeks I finally saw my credit card refund but had a 10% restocking fee AND Non Refundable Shipping Charges of $13.00 for an item that was purchased as FREE SHIPPING!
Now I'm out about 50% of the product cost.

THEY KEPT IN COMPLETE CONTACT THRU EMAIL WITH TRACKING NUMBERS AND GREAT COMMUNICATION. PRODUCTS ARRIVED ON TIME AND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, GIVE COMPANY A CHANCE, DONT LET OTHER REVIEWS MAKE YOUR DECISION.
This is the worst experience ever, from the sales person (Juan Lopez) to the "manager" (Marvin). They sold me a bad amplifier and made me pay shipping back, but not just that. After speaking to (manager: Marvin) he stated that he will give me a full refund due to the issue, so I was okay with paying shipping. A week later they received the amplifier but still no refund. Took them 2 months to process the refund and when refund was processed they decided to charge me shipping and restocking fee for an item that came defective. I called them about this and all they had to say "we sent money back to get what we sent you, can't work anything out) ending up loosing half of price of amplifier only because their stupid bad amplifier!
AGAIN STAY AWAY, THEY SELL BROKEN ITEMS AND WONT EVEN GIVE YOU MONEY BACK! OR AN EXCHANGE!
