I chose the pay as you go option and only made one transaction of $24.99. I had no subscription. They charged me over 14 times for $39.99. Never contacted me or nothing just kept taking out $40 sometimes 3 times a day. The took out over $600 claiming I never ended the subscription I never signed up for. They label it as inmatesvc on your bank statement. I had no idea what these charges were from so I disputed it and had to get a new card. Well a month later they disputed my dispute and recharged my bank account. They are scammers do NOT enter any bank or card info. You will not get your money back! $600 for something I didnt agree to.

I am very disappointed with this company. I stopped my service with them April/March 2021, on January 3rd of 2022 I saw some deductions from them 39.99 each, I looked at my bank statement and saw a total of 19 deductions from December up to that January. I called them and was able to get back 16 of those 19 back, I keep calling for my 3 they still haven't paid me for. I usually do not put my reviews but this was so wrong of them! The picture below is proof of some of the deductions on January 3rd.

They took $120 out of my account after it was closed starting in June, the following December Istill haven't had my money back. Now it's February and I still don't have my money back. In order for you to receive calls, it is mandatory, you have to add $25 to the best number we had provided with the facility's phone provider and this amount will serve as your minutes. You signed up with us for a free trial and that would only cover the services we offer. Minutes for the phone which is the $25 is not included, and that is not with Pigeonly. You have to be familiar with the prison or jail your LO's at. When my friend was in county, I could hardly send anything thru Pigeonly because of county jail's rules (pics needed inmate # on back & even greeting cards could be no bigger than 4x6). Since those 2 options weren't available, subscribing wasn't worth it for him but after transferring to prison, I looked into it again. With a discount code & holiday pricing, I got a great deal! You can basically send a letter, card, web article & photos every 4+ days. You have to wait for that particular item to be delivered before you can send the same again. Depending how many photos the prison allows each envelope & how often you end up sending these items, it's TOTALLY worth the subscription price. Especially if you get a 3 month deal AND a coupon code!

I cancelled my account July 2021, From December 13 until Jan 4 2022 they have charged my card $39.99 fifteen times with two different names. That's $599.00 and change that they stole from me, I'm on social security and this is the account my monthly payment goes on, I didn't just miss out on Christmas, I'm totally broke, I don't get food stamps or any other assistance. From what I read here this isn't something that's happening because a one time update or computer glitch, this is out right theft! I will get an attorney and I will sue for the return of my money, and the pain, suffering and hunger I've had to endure because of there "gross negligence" I refuse to be a victim.

I had five charges of $39.99 on my account during a 10 day period in November 2021, just one month after I started using it. The response provided when I emailed them was a "system upgrade that double charged". But my account was not $39.99 a month so it could not be a "double" charge. It was just random charges. Even after I reported it to the unauthorized charges, more charges were added to the account. I decided to cancel my credit card to ensure no more charges because I read on BBB and on this site that others, even years ago, were having the same problem. They did refund my money after a lot of back and forth. NOTE: The charges only show up on your credit card, NOT your account, so you need to check your credit card regularly. I kept asking for a proper invoice of charges and they refused to ever send it (I asked at least 5 times). The other odd thing is that on the site there is no list of what services you get for what fees. It's a very sparse website, I think for a reason. In any event, I strongly urge people NOT to use this Pigeonly, but if you do, check your credit card regularly. Also, if you see random charges and they say "wait a few days", you likely will just get more charges while you wait, as I did. I had to cancel my credit card. Why is this company still operating after doing this for years?

I made an account and signed up for a free trial. Read these reviews about bogus charges and canceled it immediately, but just in case I put a card with no money on it and deleted my bank card. They won't let you delete your card until your "subscription ends" which is 7 days later. Lo and behold 24 hours later I get a notification that my card declined two 39.99 charges. This site is the first and only place I have ever given this card info. I have contacted the authorities and am determined to erase myself from their site. I had to deactivate my card. I've enclosed photos. Oh yea, the charge came from "pgn.co". Imagine that.

Please beware pigeonly is always charging your account when you already paid or even if you no longer do business with them. It has happened to me plenty of times then I finally closed my account with them. Just recently I was charged twice unfortunately I lost my cool because I no longer have an account with them so they had no right charging me. Their excuse was it is a new system. That is a lie because it has been happening for years.

This is not worth your money at all. It takes a long time for the mail and pictures to arrive. And I canceled with them 9 MONTHS AGO and was charged 2 days ago. Called to get it sorted out AND WAS CHARGED AGAIN.

I was not going to write a review, but people do need to know what to expect. There is not a lot of options out there unfortunately. The product was pretty good, but sometimes there would be double or triple transactions on your card started happing. This was happing since I got my account back in 2017. Be warn that you will be charged more than once for you subscription, so check your bank account frequently. Yes, you will get a refund once they are done with their investigation. That's not the best part! 10 months after I cancelled my subscription, you are not allowed to delete account or the card, I get charged for a subscription! Good luck everyone!

I cancelled this service 2 months ago after having it for a few months to try it out. Cancel means cancel, I dont use the service, they dont provide services right? NO... I didnt use the service for the last couple months and woke up this morning to look at my bank statement and there was a charge from them that was DOUBLE what the monthly subscription amount was. WHO DOES THIS! I won't lie down and allow this, I have seen other negative reviews but gave them the benefit of the doubt. That got me nowhere. Also, while I did have the service only half of the items I even ordered got to my loved one. This is a scam and it needs to stop. I purchased a 3-month subscription to send pictures to an incarcerated relative. The charge for the subscription was $34.99. My card was charged this amount on 11/27/2021. My card was charged $39.99 on 11/28/2021 without my permission. My card was charged $39.99 on 11/29/2021 without my permission. My card was charged $39.99 on 11/30/2021 without my permission. I contacted customer service to report the issue.
The merchant stated they will refund the "errors." I suspect this is fraud and I do not trust the merchant. My card has been charged every day for $39.99. The original product was $34.99. My card has been charged again since they said they would fix the "error." I contacted the merchant on 12/01/2021 via email and by phone. Why has my card been charged again in "error" today, 12/04/2021? This is clear and apparent fraud! This company should be reported for taking advantage of people who are vulnerable and trying to connect with an incarcerated loved one.

Answer: Hello: To all who have suffered multiple, unauthorized charges by Pigeonly. I have submitted all necessary info to classaction.org to initiate a class action suit. My request is being reviewed by lawyers who will let me know if Pigeonly's actions warrant a class suit. You can go to classaction.org to review the process. You may also want to check out the current suits and settlements to see if you qualify as an injured party entitled to a portion of the settlement. If the lawyers decide we have a valid case, they will draft the complaint and file with the appropriate court. The judge must approve the class action before it can go any further; the lawyers will reach out to injured parties, and/or post the suit/settlement on classaction.org, newspapers, etc. If you aren't contacted, please make the effort to join this class action once it's posted. It doesn't require an appearance in any court, nor much of your time. These people are lining their pockets at the expense of so many of us already forced to deal with unfortunate situations.
