The staff here is rude and they could care less if you need anything and I mean anything. If you feel faint you better be prepared to call an EMT because they won't help at all, they are rude and not customer service oriented in any way! It's really sad that the folks who basically stand behind a desk with everything automated for them, really have to do nothing but swipe a card or get a name/number from guests but they still act as if everyone coming in is a huge bother. No thank you, I prefer to go where it's welcoming and friendly, this is not it!

I got the notice that they had taken my 39.99 out of my account. I went in to get a Refund and cancel my membership. I explained that I needed the money to pay for my insurance. They flat out refused to give me a refund. The are thieves and heartless bastards. Plus they do not clean they expect you to do your own cleaning, which most people did not do. Do not join here.

Their cancelation policy requires you to either send a handwritten letter or visit in person. Both options are the loftiest heights of bull$#*! and should not he allowed, and this isnt just how gyms operate because I have canceled another gym membership via a phone call.
Do not reward this company with your money, because, like an abusive partner, they will make it as difficult as possible to end your relationship with them.

The Planet Fitness app does not always connect membership to the bar code key you need for identification. Some franchise attendees try to help, some just want to dismiss you. Very frustrating when the franchises do not all have equal access to your account and you are paying for access to all franchises.

The workers here are great, but the company itself needs improvement. I canceled my membership, then continued being charged afterwards. When I contacted them for a refund, they refused. Being it was their fault, you would assume I would get a refund, but instead they took my money while I am in financial crisis. That is technically theft and I am going to continue posting this on as many sites as possible to warn others.

I am a member with planet fitness and as much as I love this gym I work out 5 days a week before work, so therefore I need to get ready at the gym, unfortunately they do not let you leave overnight items in the locker, with a lock. If you leave stuff overnight they will cut your locker and put all your stuff and lost and found. This is very frustrating for a woman that needs to get ready for work everyday at the gym, I now have to cart all of my stuff in and out everyday! My towel, my makeup, my blow dryer, my uniform, my deodorant my hair product, the gym in Citrus county has a ton of lockers that are not even being used, I requested an exemption, and it was denied. This is a true true inconvenience for a member who needs to get ready everyday at the gym, most likely a deal breaker. Citrus county Florida is a smaller county, and the locker room has over 100 lockers, so you leaving your stuff overnight with a lock should be allowed for the convenience of your loyal members that come everyday and need to get ready for work at the establishment, and this policy should be changed or looked by location, if it's a really busy establishment I understand, if there's complaints that there's not enough lockers for customers, I understand, however this is not the case for our Inverness FL location.

My contract finally ended & for 2 months they didn't charge me & then all of a sudden $50 was taken out of my account. I did not want to continue my contract, I never received any confirmation about a new contract for another year & they went ahead & charged me the annual fee. I called my old location & they refused to give me a refund although it is their fault for being unorganized. This company only cares about money & will rob you blind & scam you. I will never be going back to a plant fitness. Thanks for scamming all your customers.

In 2017 i opened a student membership for 12 months with my bestfriend. Once the 12 months were over we went in and cancelled. Today five years later i receive an email stating that Planet has handed me over for R1130. After they have continued to deduct R548 per month for the last five years summing up at R32 880. The way they refuse to accept cancellation is an entire scam. This is how they make their money by stealing from previous clients and " cancellation policies". My best friend has had EXACTLY the same issue with them. Dont waste your time, Patience or money signing up at Planet fitness.

Disrespectful employees, maybe narcissistic too. Maybe not all of them.Immature. Humiliation and Harrassment endured, against someone I know. To the point she left. Maybe that was this employees goal, Kelly. So her boyfriend could work out. Bloomsburg Pennsylvania Planet Fitness gym. Disregarding companies main concept. No Judgment, No Critics. Maybe, she forgot where she works. And let's just forget the company policies. Harrassment. They Humiliated her, texted in her face, laughed, talked, approx. For a year... They know, they did just that. Owner not doing anything.

I have been a member of the Houma LA Planet Fitness for about 18 months and the experience seems to get worse every visit. There are multiple employees behind the counter playing on their phones instead of greeting customers and walking around the facility making sure the place is clean and orderly. The men's locker room always stinks. Paper towel dispensers are often empty and the same hand sanitizer machine has been out of order for a month. The parking lot looks like an earthquake hit it (potholes and huge cracks). A homeless guy hangs around the front door and yells at people. There is no supervision while rowdy/unruly people curse, slam equipment, hog machines (sitting on them for extended periods playing on their phone), use 2 machines at one time (walking back and forth), and on 3/10/23 around 6 pm there was a fight because this annoying guy who keeps hanging around hollering at people (staff does nothing) annoyed a group of friends who were trying to enjoy their workout in peace. The employees are lazy and I never see a manager on duty (I usually go on Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday around 5 pm). I have talked to others who have cancelled their membership and gone to other gyms. I have a treadmill in my home and I am thinking about buying a bicycle and ending the dismal experience of dreadful visits to the Houma Planet Fitness.

I Avilsai Aleman have a membership in Toms river Nj, someone today still $200 from my locker, this one opened my combination lock and took my money. I believe this gym can install a security camera, just to prevent this in the future.

Do not do it...save your money, and frustration. DO NOT give up your banking info. They will steal your money, and the run around to try and get it back is ridiculous. They will charge you after you cancel, and that money is gone too. Trust the reviews...I didn't.

You would think that in 2022 organizations would understand than when we don't want what they are offering, we simply want to leave. Planet Fitness cancellation policy is a SCAM. They won't accept an email or telephone call. They force you to go into your home gym and fill out paper work - meanwhile they try to run out the clock and keep billing you. It's shady! Reminiscent of how business was done in the 80's. They don't care about your experience they just want to keep their hand in your wallet. I'm embarrassed for them.

I bought my daughter a yearly membership primarily so she could use the tanning salon Customer service closes at 4 o'clock which is ridiculous. She just went to tan and I guess they claimed you need to wait 24 hours to 10 and it was a state law but I checked and it's not it's a recommendation so we won't be renewing a membership at $400 a year. Good luck with them trying to get new members they can put as many ads on TV is they want and it's not gonna fly

Trained here for years. Great club. Very cheap. Very reliable many different aspects in making this club great.

They are clever with fees:

1) A NEW member fee of $62.94
2) Then an annual fee of $39
3) Then monthly fees

It cost us nearly $200 for just two months. They are fee-mongers!

I went to go tanning there and the bed had finger prints all over it no one cleans the beds. I was so grossed out! I had tanned already and saw the as I was in the booth if I get a fungus I will sue them. The gym is clean but this is gross!

I am a black card member and I was schedule for a tan, the app even sent me my confirmation. When it was my turn someone else was also scheduled and she ended up going first, so I went for a hydro massage and didnt get but 2 min into it and the guy scheduled someone else so they kicked me off the bed. This gym is absolutely ridiculous. I a. Gonna put this all over Facebook. This happens all the time in mt pleasant pa. Horrible.
