The team at Retouche always provide a quality outcome and are reliable with delivery. Our company has been using the service for around 4 years now and we are always very happy with the results that the team deliver. Having the option of an express service or standard service is very helpful and being able to upload your images and mark up notes in one easy to use system, is a super easy process. What we love the most is if you need to work on something out of hours, you have piece of mind that you can have the freedom to upload at your convenience and know that the job is underway. We have always been really happy with the final results which always look amazing! Overall an excellant service and team.

I did, it seems, make a mistake in my initial submital to Retouche however my attempts to correct my error were ignored with responses totally indifferent of any effort to correct my intent.

The final product although it did include a correction I had not requested was marginal at best even with the inclusion of some repeatedly requested corrections.

Bottom line, I have received equal or better work for other more complex projects at a much less price and a more rapid response time. I used Retouche only because I lost tract of the previously used firms. I will definitely expend more effort to locate other sources for any future projects.

Communications with Paul, who seems to be the primary spokesperson for Retouche, are difficult at best. He seems to be rude and totally indifferent to any thought of the customers wishes.

Harmon I double checked your order - pic was approved, minor additional request you made 0 was implemented. I do not see anything you asked that we didn't do... I am confused and surprised that you got negative experience. Contact us again if the pic you approved is made in a different manner than you need. If you are asking about bright areas - I clarified that totally white (overexposed areas) technically cannot be made darker and recover details - they are lost, if this is the issue. I supposed that I was clear bout this limitation from the beginning.

Retouche.com is somewhat fast on the turnaround of your photos, if you pay for it. However, the normal things that you think any Photoshop editor would fix they do not. Retouche.com allows you to ask for your edits which apparently must include everything all at once and the most obvious things you don't think should be "asked for."
The most aggravating thing about Retouche.com is their customer service. Be sure that you have a lot of time allotted to looking after their edits. Why? Well they will email you that they are ready, and then email you a reminder. If you do not approve then they send you an email that they will delete your photos and still take your payment. I have used other services like this before and have never felt so pressured or to be honest, threatened. It is my belief that Retouche.com doesn't care for customer service or that some of their reps lack the knowledge of the English language in order to respond without sounding completely rude.
I wish I would've read other reviews so I would have known NOT to use this service.

Horrible!
January 19, 2016

Wow! Horrible! I submitted 4 photos. They said it would take 8 days. After the 8 days they notified my that my photos were ready. I looked at my account and nothing had been done. I sent them an email and said that nothing had been done to my photos. Paul responded with this, "I am sorry that you are blind!" I responded and said unless he was seeing something I wasn't, I'm not blind and then I pointed out one obvious change that hadn't been made (none of the requested changes had been made). Within seconds he sent me the revised photo with the one change and said, "this pic is fine now" (don't know why they wanted 8 days to make the changes). I pointed out all the other changes he hadn't made and after a few more rude comments from Paul I stopped responding. Then he had the nerve to charge me - since they require your credit card information before they start. I had to cancel through my credit card company.

I worked with Paul. Submitted 28 wedding photographs from a terrible photographer and he was able to salvage every one-color correction, blemish correction, item removal, "degreasing" faces, enhancing eyelashes... you name it, he could do it. They charged $292.32 for the full order and I was able to continue giving feedback on each and every picture until it was exactly how I envisioned it.

As a gift for my wife and mother-in-law, I had Retouche add color to some black-and-white family photos. I had details on the coloring of the people, places and clothing in the photos and Retouche worked with me to match each color as closely as possible, including several revisions as we tweaked and edited. The photos came out beautiful and I know my wife's family is going to love them. I would definitely use Retouche again for any special photo projects.

I have used Retouche twice now to edit pictures from my honeymoon and also some portraits from my wedding. Both times I have used this service they have done an amazing job at responding to my requests to the best of their ability and trying to get my pictures back to me as quickly as possible. Even after I completed an order and realized there was one last thing I meant to have edited they were happy to assist me for no charge. The website was easy for me to use and if I had a request or question I generally heard back same day or next day. The quality is extremely professional and fairly priced. I can't say enough about how positive my experience with them has been and I would definitely use them again!

Worst customer service ever! I uploaded a picture of me and my daddy that just passed away, I wanted repaired for his obituary. It's the only picture I had of the two of us together ( I actually mentioned this in note to them) The response I received back was rude so I commented on that fact, only to get a even worst response. The person's name was Paul he was nasty and unapologetic. Their bootleg website wouldn't let me delete my picture or information from the site. Don't waste your time or money with them especially if your a person of color they don't want our business!

Kree, I do not think that simple answer 'No, not doable' is rude. It is neutral. Sorry that the task was beyond our ability.

I uploaded a couple pics from a mini family portrait session. I didn't like how my pictures came out but I put so much work into them including new clothes and shoes. I wasn't happy with them and thought there was nothing I could do. I researched photoshop and came across Retouche.com. I figured I would give it a try. First of all, when you ask them to edit it. You must be very specific. I just said a few things. Then you get the edited picture back for a review, if you don't like it then there is a improve button. Then they do it again. I added more and more and he did it no problem. They moved a whole person over a couple inches. They changed the color of shoes to match. They edited out weird shadows. They fixed flyaway hairs and hairs in front of the face. They whitened teeth. They did a great job in a short amount of time. This was only for 1 picture, I can't imagine how the process would be for 50+ photos though. I was so picky and they worked with me and now I LOVE my family picture. Thanks retouche.com!

I agree with the rest of the reviewers - the company is totally unprofessional in editing and in dealing with customers. They charge your credit card before even doing anything to the photograph. Editing/retouching is so poor it looks like a high school student is doing it.
Do not even start with them - look elsewhere.

I sent one photo to them for editing; it took seven days for them to complete the job. Because of the wait, I thought they would do a great job, but that wasn't the case. The photo didn't look much better than the original that I sent them. When I made my comments and asked for revisions, the artist told me that there wasn't anything else he could do because of the quality of my original. I was so frustrated that I just approved the work and paid them - I was in tears because I had hopes they would help with a photo that is important to me. Based on my dealings with them, they don't respect the customer at all. Interestingly enough, I had another company edit my photo and it looks great!

I had a frustrating experience with a recent order I placed with them. I requested revisions on several photos, where they hadn't addressed the original requests for changes or let me know that they were unable to implement the requested changes. After that, the order seemed to stall and they were non-responsive to my attempts in contacting them regarding the status of the order.

They ended up "completing" the order, and while they did address several changes I requested, there were several that they didn't. I wasn't enjoying my experience working with them, so I just figured I would contact another company to finish making the changes that this company would not or could not.

My overall impression was that they were unprofessional and have poor communication/ customer relation skills. It also seemed as if they wanted to do the least amount of work possible and just assumed you wouldn't notice. I recommend working with another company.

I uploaded 39 photos to be retouched and was told if I uploaded additional photos I would receive an additional discount and to enter payment information. I asked how many I need to upload to receive the discount and what the discount would be, and the reply I received was "You need to upload 50 photos and enter payment information." I asked what the discount would be and did not receive a reply. I looked further on the website for what the discount, since they seemed to be treating me like I was stupid and should know, and found that for amateur photos the discount was 50% for 50 photos. I uploaded the photos, hit re-estimate, and when the estimate came back, there was no additional discount. Since it had been several days since I started this process, I added my payment information and asked when the discount would be applied. They immediatly put a hold on my funds, which didn't surprise me, but then didn't answer my question. I emailed them several times, over several days, asking about the discount and was finally told that the discount was 40% not 50%. I had already received 40% discount for 39 photos, why was I told to upload more to receive an additional discount? Bottom line is they kept my money for a week and then canceled the order, and did give me my money back, but at a week before Christmas I have to scramble to find someone else to correct these photos. Stay away. I called the number on their website and never received an answer, just a foreigners voice say something like "we're not here" and the a recorded voice. I left 2 messages and never received a call back. I emailed them "Is this a scam? How come no one is answering my questions?" and they canceled my order without telling me. Glad I wasn't charged, but in a bind now. Don't use them.
