They scam customers. When you sign up with Rogers they tell you one thing and once the bill comes it's completely different from what was discussed in the first place. I call that a SCAM.
Ordered a phone and plan on promotion (boxing day 2020) from Rogers. I was waiting for my phone but no email, no nothing. The contact at Rogers in Live chat was Paul from Kitchener. I reached out to O'Neil from Toronto and asked about the status of my order. He told me that there is no order! Paul tried to reach you with no success. I had no missed call during that period. So, first lie. Then, O'neil told me that I can have a phone and plan without promotion. I said no thanks. So short story, they are scammer that do not keep their words and even don't bother to let you know that! I can't believe this is happening in Canada in 2021!
I switched to Rogers a week ago, HUGE mistake! I was verbally abused by a technician, and given the run around daily about my non functioning internet and TV services. Have spent countless hours on the phone trying to get problems resolved, have had to miss important business meetings because internet is intermittent, and have had a revolving door of technicians in my home during COVID. Avoid them at all costs
I signed up for a good deal on Internet and tv. I was told it would cost me $163 plus tax. I had this plan for a year and it ended so i was changed a lot, the support team was able to help me by lower the bill for me, they told me next year before the plan is done try to renew it this way this will not happen. 1 Year later and i did that about 3 days before my plan was expired i renewed it with the same plan so it should cost me again $163 plus tax. I got the bill for $212 and support telling me its because i changed my plan early. So if i am late i get charged and if i am early i get charged you can not win with these guys.
Spam calling and never stops. Classifies as harrassment at this point. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH ROGERS
Horrible service In chatham Kent and they refuse to take money at the store forcing you to use a debit or credit card to pay a bill. Absolutely ridiculous. They also shut off data and then expect a full month's bill from you. Joke of a service.
Well like every1 else I agree they're service is way overpriced. They don't give u a lot in term's of DATA or Mobile features unless your willing to fork out a lot of money. I was a pay per use customer for about a year than they gave me a promo offer which I think was like 4GB of data & unlimited call's & texts for like $45 a month? Not bad I suppose.
A word of advice though, if you ever go over your limit the fee's they slap on you are outrageous, & I wouldn't blame any1 for ending their service with them.
Their online website based off of using it isn't very user friendly either, it can definitely use some polishing but that's not a game changer for me anyway.
Rogers- Poor services and overcharging customers; fees do not reflect what they offer. CRA should be auditing them; Top executives should read all the complaints and feed back from customers.
Rogers website takes you in circles. You can add more services all you want, but you cannot remove anything. You have to call to remove anything. It is very difficult to figure out exactly what services/channels you actually have, even when you log into your own account!
