IT IS A DJ'S JOB TO REMIX RECORDS AND DO NEW VERSIONS OF CLASSIC MUSIC THIS IS THE JOB OF A DJ. SOUNDCLOUD IS IN CAHOOTS WITH LABELS AND IS BLOCKING THE DJS FROM REMIXING MUSIC MY MICHAEL JACKSON REMIXED HAD 1000 LISTENS PLUS AND SOUNDCLOUD BLOCKED IT AFTER IT REACHED 10,0000 STATUS MICHAEL WOULD HAVE LOVED THE REMIX!
IT IS A GOOD SITE BUT THEY NEED TO STOP BLOCKING THE DJS FROM BEING CREATIVE. WHY WOULD A DJ GET A PRO ACCOUNT THERE AND THEY BLOCK THE DJS THAT IS THE MAIN REASON I WILL NOT GO PRO - THIS SHOULD STOP GET OUT THE WAY STOP ALLOWING LABELS WARNER BROTHERS SPECIFICALLY & allow DJS TO DO THEIR THING OR DO A WORKAROUND.

I've always been an avid soundcloud fan and never had any problems. However, I decided to try the free trial of Go and am very disappointed. I didn't really feel it was worth the money, so I went to cancel my subscription before the 30 days were over. However, when I went to the manage subscriptions page, there was NO way to edit my account to disable go. I looked for so long for a way to contact soundcloud, however there was only an international phone number and FAQs. I took me two days just to hunt down the customer service email. After emailing, I was responded to with automatic reply telling me to refer back to the FAQ page. Great. Then, when finally contacting a human being, I was told I was not going to be refunded for ONE day over of soundcloud Go even though I had been trying to cancel since before the deadline. Definitely not using soundcloud anymore. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Soundcloud used to be the best. I really do mean that, i loved the app, i loved the web site. Even for how much i love it, there is no way in hell anyone i know (including myself) is gonna pay $10-12 for it. I know it sucks but its gonna force me to delete my account soon and switch to something a little more professional if i have to pay (like apple music or spotify) sorry sound cloud but you just lost a lot of happy customers and all around made an awful choice

A tip if anyone from sound cloud ever saw this, make it $2 a month or something reasonable... dont be a sell out

Im a cheap bytch so i just use the free accounts. They give you somethin like 2 hours of recording time. That part sux but in the end, i made it work for me. I use the 2 hours free accounts as individual albums. So every time i create a new album, i create a new soundcloud n provide linx to it from the others. I dont get wild new listeners unless i promote the shyt out of my musick. This could be due to the nature/content of it though. Its dark, twisted, crazy punk/grunge hybrids. Definitely not for everyone. But all in all, its super easy to use, super easy to navigate, and in the couple years ive been using them, i cant say i have even one legit complaint. I am overall very pleased with the service, and encouraged by the traffic I get.
There are times when I experience glitches, such as tracks not loading properly, or edited tracks not editing properly. Other than that I am really happy with it. Anyone can post their music and it's a great way to hear new and interesting music out there. A little like Pandora, but without commercials, and not necessarily music that is published or under a record label.
