I ordered products from Steebar for the first time and received a part of the order equaling about one third of the dollar value of my order. The most expensive item was marked as back ordered. At about a month I called to ask for an update on the status of my order. A man answered - no company name just hello. When I told him what I was calling about he asked what company I had ordered from. I told him steebar but the invoice with the couple of items they sent said clockkit ( not Klockit-they are a good company that I normally order from). He gave me a line that was because of a computer glitch. He then very rudely said 'look your item is on back order. When we get it well send it". After waiting a few more weeks I tried calling again multiple times. No answer! I emailed several times. No reply. Finally emailed don't send it, I want my money refunded. No reply. Contacted American Express and disputed the charge. A week later the order comes. I will NEVER do business with Steebar or their imitation company 'Clockkit'. (Again this Clockkit is NOT Klockit!)

The company does not even deserve a rating of 1. Once I completed my purchase, no receipt was made available. After almost two weeks I never received my product. Then, I read all these reviews!

So, I contacted the NJ Business Licensing Bureau to make a complaint. Found out they were investigated and prosecuted in 2012 for fraud. Documentation of their settlement is online. Long story short, I disputed the purchase through my CC company, contacted the true owners at their home, and wow I received an email indicating a refund... Which appeared.

Fight these crooks and don't let them cheat you!

Same complaints as above - took my money and did not deliver - if it happens to you call Bigcommerce at *******911 and dispute the charge then go to your bank and dispute the charge and get a new CC. BBB in NJ has no idea who these people are and cannot contact them.

Wish I had read these reviews before I ordered a clock part in May, 2014, paying through PayPal. Received email that our item was prepared for shipping, never received item. Sent numerous emails - no response, called numerous times, phone just rings and rings. Once we were able to leave a message - no call back.
Filed a dispute claim with PayPal, which they ask you to try and resolve with seller - well, that's a dead end!

I placed an order and after a week of no response from the company (tried emailing and calling) I finally filed a dispute with paypal, still waiting on a response from Steebar but hopefully paypal will refund my money, otherwise I will have to dispute it through my credit card company. Wish I had read reviews before ordering but I thought it was safe due to being affiliated with paypal. I was soooo wrong!

This is the first time I have ever ordered on the internet from an unknown company without fully researching the company first. I am sorry I did so! I ordered wall clock parts for a Christmas gift well before Christmas. I received an email with an order number and notification that it was "awaiting shipment." Unfortunately, the package never came. There has been no response to phone calls or emails. I wish I'd come here first. It looks like I'm not the only one!

I ordered clock parts from them and never received the product. Instead they sent me a barometer. I have tried calling them and the phone just rings and rings. Stay far away from this site.

These people are a rip off. Stay away. Zero communication after they get your money, even if you do get lucky and they answer a phone or email you get lied to. Never got my shippment and am trying to get my CC company to charge them back for items never recieved. Penmakingsupplies.com should be sued for lousy business practice. Especially that guy named Chip who should be indited for posing as a business. AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS!

We have had the same problem but I took a stab and called the post office in NJ where our package was supposedly delivered and it was sitting there w/o enough postage. Customers of this company may want to contact the Peapack NJ post office to see if you have something sitting there. Bob from the post office is shipping it out to us today!

91 Post Ln, Bernardsville, NJ ******* This is the owners home. For those who don't live in Jersey, this is one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in the state. It is a 6 acre mansion worth 2 mill. That is where all your stolen money went.

Ordered clock parts on October 30, I was charged on my credit card but never received the merchandise. No answers to my e-mail, and they never answer the phone. Their web site is very well done but they do not deliver merchandise. Never order from them

MY ORDER WAS CHARGED AND PRODUCTS NOT SHIPPED. I HAVE GOTTEN NO REPLY FROM NUMEROUS E-MAILS AND PHONE CALLS. I WILL NOT BE PLACING ANY ORDERS FROM THIS CHEAT COMPANY. THE SITE LOOKS GOOD BUT RESPONSE IS POOR. ORDER AT YOUR OWN PERIL.

I lost $200 to Steebar. They charge your card immediately and never deliver a product. I don't know how New Jersey allows them to stay in business.

I had similar experience as others here; should have checked the BBB first, they have an F. I placed an order using their pretty good web site, but no order was ever shipped, no answer to emails or phone calls. Finally after more than two weeks of this a sent on last email to cancel my order and SUDDENLY they responded right away saying that their power has been out and they would research it, yeah right power out for two weeks, don't think so. That seems to be their standard excuse from other reviews I've read. At least they never charged my card. Anyway, stay away, and if you do have a problem with them I found another number for them that is toll free that's not posted on their web site: *******930, good luck getting them to answer it though.

Website was fine, ordering easy. Two weeks later, 2 emails and a phone message, no order. Prices were good but the service is nonexistent in my experience. At least they never charged my card.

Purchased product from this company and followed instructions on use. Contacted them before using the product to tell them it was white in color and not clear. They told us to go on and use, everything would be ok. It was not and we lost $100's due to their error. They said that they would refund the money and they did not. They are cheaters and liars and would not advise using their products!
