Over tbe last nine months I have had nothing but issues with parts purchased from Summit. It started after purchased pertronics kit for a 1968 mopar. After install I had a miss in the engine bad enough that the car could not be driven. I spoke with Summitt seveal times and was refered to pertronics. I change intakes, caps and carb. Still missing. After speaking with Summitt again, I decided to change out the entire distributor, purchased from Summit. This fixed the issue. Now Summitt refuses to take back the defective parts. Buyer beware. Thees guys don't care about customer. Only the $$. BUY ELSEWHERE.

Ordered based on stated delivery date. After 4 delays it still isn't here. They said it wasn't their responsibility and refused refund. Said it was up to me to deal with the shipping company. I said I was going you reverse my credit card. They threatened you ban me for life
Ordered a set of Mickey Thompson drag radials on 8/2/21.3 days later given a delivery date of 9/7/21.On 8/25/21 I get a new date of 10/28/21. Called to inquire. Was told Mickey Thompson was the cause. Called Mickey Thompson. They told me they had not missed any of their shipment dates to any of their suppliers.So what happened to my tires? Seems to me Summit likes to use your name and credit card to hold a place in line, but when a buddy needs a set your going to the back of the line. Long story short. Ordered the tires straight from Mickey Thompson and they exceeded all expectations.

I was totally frustrated with trying to find some particular Parts, head called every shop in town and probably half the website shops, with no luck.
Spoke to Don at SUMMIT RACING for approximately 20 minutes. Words just can't convey the amount of satisfaction that I received.
Don was very professional, courteous, and most importantly, very knowledgeable which made the whole process very easy. I will definitely be using Summit for any of my additional Automotive part needs.
I ordered a clutch from these guys almost 3 weeks ago. They were amazing shipped next day free. That's why 2 not 1 star. However I called to ensure part was correct well the one I had in cart was correct they changed it for wrong one. Honest mistake I still would have did 5 stars until the return. My car is at the dealership on the lift and I'm getting gouged for my car being on lift so I rush it back to them was going to get another from them until the price went up a thousand dollars. So I needed to order elsewhere so I check everyday to make sure return got there it did almost 2 weeks ago my car is still on lift and it seemed nobody would go extra to get my money after they "forgot" to refund me for over a week then tell me wait another 3-5 days! I'm my eyes my clutch was $1700 they have cost me 2k where my car is sitting because of them the right thing to do to get me to feel ok is give me the more expensive clutch for free as that is what they have cost me. I own a business and maintain a 5 star rating for 15 years by accepting my failures and making them right. I review good or bad I hope they rectify this so I can edit all review I'm posting. They are not bad but they really don't care what they did to me. Hope this helps
Called today to send back some items. They were past 6 month return but couldn't because of Covid. Other items were returned some months back which my help sent back. We didn't have an issue until today speaking with Rep named George. I explained to him that I had covid and just came across these items to be returned today. Long story short, he sure was a total $#*! to me. Very rude. So, I will never buy from them again and told him... "I hope you sleep well tonight, you $#*!ing bastard" and hung up. Wow how compassionate folks are when it comes to money huh?
Purchased a set of BF Goodrich G-Force Rival Tires. Two of those tires were already 2 years old upon delivery and 1 was out of round at the installer shop. Summit Racing refused to exchange. Was told to work with the tire manufacturer. Summit Racing, you sold the bad tires you work to resolve it!
Ordered a new hitch cargo carrier from Summit, but instead a used item that was dirty, broken & rusted. I called to report this that same day. We ended up having to pay more through another retailer that I had to make a last minute drive 45 miles each way to pick up, so that we could leave on schedule. When I called Summit, they told me I could return the item upon our return. After our return, I first chatted online with a representative who sent me a return label and said I would be reimbursed when they got the item back & that I could drop the item off at a UPS store or request a pickup. So after all the inconvenience and extra expense, and having never received the item I ordered (just a piece of broken & rusted junk that I then had to spend more time/effort to return), I go online to find out that a pickup would require a fee to UPS, because Summit did not authorize a pickup. After another long call with Summit, they authorized a prepaid label, but when they received the item, they charged me for shipping! This company is a joke.
I ordered a part from this company, never received it, still waiting on a refund. I have ordered, received, and had it installed from another company. And I'm still waiting on my refund. Sorry sorry service.

Been trying to get ahold of someone for four days now. Have entered my phone number in the text back line about fifty $#*!ing times( and I'm not exaggerating) not once did it register the right number. Needless to say I'm a little pissed. If anyone from summit customer service is reading this and cares to reach out my phone number is *******565 it would be greatly appreciated since I've exhausted every other option of getting ahold of someone.
Ordered and received 2 gallons of Urethane primer that could not be sprayed after adjusting the correct mixture with activator. Primer was probably too old. Emailed and called customer service, left my phone number, got one question emailed, and never heard from them again. Very! Disappointing.
Purchased a rebuilt alternator for the wife's car. Summit had the best price advertised. The first one I received was damaged, obviously dropped, the manufactures box was thrashed and they sent it to me anyway. I returned it and they sent me a credit for the alternator only and not the additional $70 core charge I paid for up front. They are not upfront with their core return policy to begin with and I do not recommend them for any part that involves a core charge. They might be a good source for parts that don't require a core but I will never be using them again.
I received a defective part from Summit. I called the over two weeks ago and was told a replacement and a call tag would be shipped out immediately.
Still no part! I called today and after holding for 30 minutes and hearing the Covid blame game over and over I got to speak to someone. She stated that the credit for my original purchase wasn't moved over but now it is. I asked if she just did it since the website shows "pending" order status. She lied and said No, it was done earlier today. When a business has their employee lie to me, I am done. I had been buying from Summit for over 30 years!
I ordered some simple items, locking lug nuts and windshield wipers. Both items were indicated to fit my vehicle on the website but neither did. I will not be purchasing from Summit Racing again.
Sold me a torque convertor that was not built properly. I live in Canada so shipping it back and having my vehicle apart for a month waiting for a replacement wasn't an option. So I brought the convertor into a shop to get it looked it. They fixed it and it cost me an additional $315CAN. I called summit and explained what happened and that it needed to be fixed, I asked for them to refund me $250US to help cover paying to get the convertor fixed (I'd still be out money paying for fuel driving 400+km to the shop and home twice) They refunded me a whole $43 US. Which is a total joke. I then filed a dispute with PayPal which summit racing denied and would not do anything to help me.
After spending thousands of dollars over the years with summit racing I will NEVER AGAIN in my life time spend another penny with them if they can't help me out when they sold me something that clearly wasn't built properly.
Shame on you summit racing. I guess you needed that $250 more than I do. Oh well, I'll happily shop else where.

So I ordered two packages within a month of each other one was 700 one was 20 and both were wrong and the first one they tried blaming me and then tried telling me it didn't come ups even tho my friend is a ups driver and told me he delivered it they tried to refuse my request for a ups return label and said I had to send them differently and today I open the box that had the right side headlight bracket aparently well I started looking and sure enough it's a left
Terrible tech and sales. Called to get sizing for stall converter and carb. I guess summit doesnt do that since he asked me what how much stall I wanted. I said that's why I called you. His reply was. I'm not an engine builder. Had enough at that point especially after he said there was no application for a stall for a 350 sbc to mate to a 700r4. WOW! Only gave one star since it wont let me give zero.
BEEN DEALING WITH THEM FOR YEARS. THEY ARE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND STAND BEHIND ALL THEIR PRODUCTS... IN FACT I ORDERED THE WRONG TORQUE CONVERTER IN APRIL 2021... MY MISTAKE, AND THEY RETURNED AND REFUNDED WITH NO ISSUES AT ALL! AND THEY COVERED SHIPPING BOTH WAYS! IT DONT GET BETTER THEN THAT!

Answer: I bought a creeper from them and they seem legit. I received the creeper, contacted support as creeper was defective and received a new creeper from them.
Answer: Compared to a lot of the other places I called Southwest, pertronix, and a handful of others, Summit performance parts was the only ones that answered and I was connected very short. Of time very happy with the phone option to speak to someone very knowledgeable as well.
