I read a lot of bad reviews after I placed an order with this company and was afraid I had made a mistake ordering from them; I placed an order at 10pm on Wednesday 8/12/2020, paid for the 2-day delivery and had my package early 8/14/2020, I'm very satisfied and glad I didn't have any issues. I would definitely order again but first I want to see if I get charged extra for any out of Country fees.

Terrible with returns

Bought a pair of Birkenstock's and used the size chart and the shoes came in a size too big. Not a big deal, we'll...$15 to ship, $21 to return(they don't do exchanges). You have to return the shoe and order a new pair. I wasn't spending another $15 to get the correct size... went to Nordstrom and had great customer service, but now I'm out $36. Never will I use this company again!

I have returned a wetsuit and have waited for 3 weeks to hear anything. Decided to try to contact them, emailed 5 times waited on phone for 1 hour only to be cut off. They say to contact them via email phone or live chat... where is their live chat? I cannot find it on the website. So frustrating to be ignored. Do not shop here if you like to be refunded on unsuitable items.

After reading negative reviews here, we were nervous about our item not arriving on time. Not only did it arrive on time, but it arrived 4 days early! Although the US toll free customer service phone number did not work, email customer service DOES work. We received a very prompt email reply with tracking information. The price was right, the product is amazing and the customer service was timely. Be patient if coming from overseas. The website gives accurate estimate.

On May 11,2020 I ordered a pair of Oakley Flight Jackets from them because there site had them priced lower then anywhere else and I thought I was getting a deal. My credit card was charged immediately. I received a follow up email from them with my FedEx tracking number. At first I was impressed on how fast it came over from across the pond and I was expecting to receive the package on 05/13/2020 and FedEx is pretty good with their delivery dates. I tracked the package to the FedEx main hub in Tennessee where everything goes prior to coming to Florida (I use to work for FedEx so I know how the shipping goes). Shortly afterwards I receive an email from FedEx saying that my Item needs a drop ball testing certificate in order to be released from customs. I never received any notification like this before when buying products or glasses from overseas. So I contacted customer service and spoke with some woman who started off friendly at first and actually found the email that FedEx sent them about the drop ball lenses testing. She mumbled something about " it's the warehouse job to send out that information and continue to check you FedEx status. I kindly asked her if she can send me a follow email on when they respond to FedEx with the information. After that her attitude changed and she mumbled " it's our warehouse responsibility to sent that out with the package and just keep checking your FedEx status. If you sit in front a damn computer all day how hard is it to follow up with the customer by sending a simple follow up email. So I quickly called my credit card and got the charges reversed. I will never get those glasses I just spent the extra and ordered the same pair stated side and will receive them tomorrow. Don't do it! They are a fraud and magically there phone lines don't work now. I called three times and sent an email.

I ordered a pair of Oakley sunglasses and Surfdom sent the package via FedEx. The package was held and needed information from Surfdom. I sent 3 e-mails and called 3 times. None of the e-mails were responded to and each time I called I was on hold for 15-30 minutes. When I spoke to a representative they told me they would contact FedEx to resolve. From my chair, they took no action with FedEx. I am expecting FedEx to return the package to sender and I am not sure I will be reimbursed my purchase price back from the company. Be very careful doing business with this company.

Sent Incorrect Item

I ordered 172cm Candide Faction 2.0 skis and they sent me 178cm skis. Not only do they charge for the return where I have to pay they did some odd security check that made me wait on my item for several days. I should have headed the warnings about this awful site but I did not.

Paid for shipping for an item and was charged by Surfdome. Then was charged again because the were sneaky and made the order cash on delivery. No notice of this. Would not refund the money they took for shipping and paid twice. Worst customer service ever. Don't buy here.

I ordered surfboard bag couple of weeks ago, which arrived on time as promised with tracked delivery and in good condition, It was the first time I ordered from this website but, Probably gonna try again! Ooh and Also the minimal and recyclable packaging was great!

It went ok

I ordered a backpack by osprey and paid via paypal. The confirmation email mentioned that I would be notified when they shipped the product (I live in Germany). When the estimated delivery day arrived and I hadn't received any email I became alerted by that. I started researching reviews and came across lots of alarming stuff, which started to freak me out a little. That evening I wrote to the customer support asking about the tracking and the shipping status and in a later email I decided to cancel my order.
The next morning I received to answers. They told be that they shipped it and provided a tracking number and told be that therefore the order could not be cancelled. The shipping arrived that same day and contain exactly what I ordered. That was a great relieve, because after reading several alarming review, I have not expected that to happen.
I cannot tell you much about Surfdome, I was a first time costumer. But luckily for me, I received my order just as described. The customer service responded the next morning with was great and I received my order just one day late. What did not work was that I have never received a shipping email.
I am writing this review just to share with you, that if you ordered at surfdome and are reading all those things here, there is a change that all will go well.

Disappointed and ignored

Really really disappointed. I purchased a snowboard from surfdome recently using my credit card. During the purchase I was asked to complete several security checks, which I did and subsequently placed my order with the delivery date being guaranteed by Tuesday the 17th of december. After processing my purchase i received an email asking for a 'processor authorisation code' and to provide this within 72 hours.
I proceeded to contact my bank and the response I got was that there is no authorisation code and they had never hear of it. I then emailed surfdome SIX times with no response. Not even an acknowledgment of my emails. They asked me to provide a code within 72 hours but then refused to respond or answer my emails?
I work in the snow industry and because of not receiving a response from surfdome the order has now been cancelled and has left me unable to work on Tuesday. This will result in a loss of money, work and potentially my job due to the company just not responding to my emails and me not having the gear I purchased by the requested date.
Having been in the snow industry for quite some time, I often recommend surfdome for gear to my clients (up to 600 people per season). I will unfortunately not be recommending surfdome again to any of my clients, the customer service I have received for an item that costs almost £500 is not acceptable. It is also not acceptable to guarantee a delivery date and then cancel my order while totally ignoring my emails. I was asked to respond to the email sent by surfdome, to which I did, and to which I was totally ignored.
I would never expect customer service of such a low level from such a reputable company. Really unhappy with how I have been treated and how it will affect my ability to work.

I was looking for an Osprey Fairview 70. I did a quick search on google and Surfdome was the cheapest. I compared it to online shops and local shops in my area, they didn't come close. I purchased the backpack for $129.58 CDN and when it arrived I paid $36 for duty charges. It came in 10 days which wasn't too bad for free shipping. I'm happy that I saved on this purchase and that it went through lol. I used PayPal to make this purchase, they offer some sort of protection if anything goes sideways.

I took my chances and read the reviews but the price point was to cheap to pass up. I ordered a travel backpack, Osprey Farpoint 70 Backpack - Volcanic Grey. Paid $139 with promo code and shipping was free to Canada. It took 4-5 days to arrive from UK which was surprising. Upon arrival, I paid an extra $30 for duty. Not a bad price compared to local shops.

Very unfriendly with a corporate return policy from the previous century. Pretends to have a surf image but they easily make you pay 25% of the item price for a return?! If you ask them about it and tell them that you just want to swap the size, they keep on referring to their general terms and conditions pretending to be Apple or Google.

Apparently they have never heard of the existence of e-commerce brands like Zalando and Amazon. I expect them to be out of business very soon

If you live outside of the UK do not buy here!

I bought an osprey backpack, which was $60 dollars cheaper than the REI price. My product arrived before the estimated shipping date and they sent tracking info! My only warning is that my bank did charge a foreign transaction fee on my credit card ($4). So if you have a card that doesn't charge for FTFs use that one! The bag was brand new in packaging and has no defects. Don't hesitate to use this sight, as long as you don't mind the extra time it takes to ship (2 weeks).

Dishonest

I ordered a carry on suitcase from these clowns, I was in Australia and the website had. com.au on it making me think that they were in Australia, Check out was in AUD, Got an email saying it would be delivered by Friday and a tracking link that did not work. Friday rolls around and I thought I would ring them, that's when I realized they were in fact in the UK. Lady was unapologetic about the misleading website and could provide no reason why the package wasn't delivered. I had left the country by almost a week by the time the suitcase was delivered and apparently I am supposed to organise someone back in Australia to sort out shipping it back to them. Shop elsewhere, not worth the hassle!

Terrible service

Terrible service. Sent a refun over amontillado ago. Was told the refund was on it's way now they tell me they don't have the item. Please do not trust this company.
