I returned a suit that didn't fit. I was told to reorder the item and that I would receive a refund for the original purchase. I sent the original order back using their shipping label and received proof of delivery once the order was returned to the Ted Baker facility. The order was returned on Nov. 29th, and I have yet to receive a refund!
I Tried calling the customer service number (It's a complete waste of time) and was placed on hold for long periods of time before getting an automated message that no reps were available and suggested sending an email to customer service.
So, I did. The rep that responded (Jade) to my email has not been helpful at all. Jade asked for proof that the item was returned, once I provided the requested information, she didn't respond for days. After following up with her multiple times, she finally responded stating that I needed to wait 14 business days after the item was received at the warehouse before the refund would be processed! There is no way you could pay me to purchase anything else from this company. STAY AWAY, unless you don't mind the possibility of being ripped off.
Have used Ted for years and even if there is an issue (which is very rare), customer services are very polite and handle it quickly. Done several orders with them this month alone for Xmas pressies and am very happy with them as a company. Their quality as well is super :D A big thank you to Ted's staff x
I have irdered a coat on Nov 19th and received it on Nov 29th after 10 times call abd being on hold for 20 minutes and dropping calls alyhough they say they will ship the items 3 to 6 days. I even received it without a cover. This is my last time shipping withe Baker.
I purchased 3 items online on 8/11/2022 and paid for next day delivery. 2 items were cancelled by Ted Baker by the same evening, with 1 item due for delivery. This item did not arrive. I have emailed customer service everyday for 10 days now asking for a refund. Ted Baker do respond, but so far keep blaming the carrier Evri. I have tried to explain my transaction was with Ted Baker not Evri but they say there is nothing they can do! I have seen lots of reviews with similar issues, the chat agent told me the website stock is about a day behind when you order, so on some occasions orders are cancelled.
I'm having to dispute the transaction through my bank now.
I would suggest if you like Ted Baker clothing go to the shop if absolutely possible the experience I've had online is really poor.
I can only see this getting worse as Christmas approaches.
Bought shoes in June. Wore them for 2 months and they have completely fallen apart. When I contacted the shop for refund they said the shoes look quite worn so they can't do anything about it. Basically admitted it's fine for their "made in china" crap sold for 85 quid a pair to fall apart. Stay away!
Placed an order *******, asked for it, turns out they delivered it inside the bin …. Which obviously has been emptied since. They refuse the refund or resend. They need to sort it out with the courier and I have to wait whilst they sort why the item is delivered in an unsafe location…. Might as well have put £77 in the bin. Won't be dealing with Ted Baker - scammers again.
I ordered a pair of gloves online, last week, and I paid an extra fee to receive it today, on Monday 7th November as tomorrow is a friend's birthday. It is now 20:28 so I think it is reasonable to assume that my order will not be delivered today... How disappointing. And I paid extra to get special delivery, on a specific day as specified on the website.
Disappointing and poor service from a luxury brand like Ted Baker. Will never buy again.
I was upset at first for the slow response times from Customer Service, however, now at the time of writing this review, they have resolved my issue.
I have never seen any clothing customers service that is worse than Ted Baker.
First off, I shop from online, and paid the full price, then they lost my package... and took 3 weeks to get me refund, and another 2 weeks for the new item I purchased to arrive. Then because I already have another dress, so I decided to return it. I went to store, and they said oh no we don't accept returns here. I was like wtf? But truth is they don't accept Karlan payment, but I didn't purchase it with the payment plan. Wtf? Literally. And they never apologize for what they have done. Basically it took me more than 2 months to actually get my money back. Horrible clothing brand!
I have only shopped with TB online on a couple of occasions and am disappointed with the service. It indicates on their website that standard delivery is within 3-5 days - I've been waiting 10 days and still no sign of my item. I've asked to cancel the order but they've advised it has been dispatched but they cannot advise when it will actually arrive. Having read other reviews this isn't an isolated incident and apparently their online service is usually this bad with some items never being received - would avoid ordering online if you can - awful service
Last time (about 6 months ago), I ordered about 3-4 pairs of shoes. Was excited them. They came and realized the shoes were at least half to a whole size bigger. I tried to make a return, but their online return process didn't work. So be warned. You need to order what what want and need the first time, since they don't have a return process (even though it looks like they do). Now I know to order one size smaller than what I normally wear in the US (I usually wear US 9, so I will need to order a US 8 from Ted Baker).
I bought a top from the Manchester store to try on with a skirt at home. I noticed it had some make up on the collar but thought I could wash it. It didn't go with the skirt so I went to take it back. I pointed out the makeup stain to the assistant but she Inferred I had done that and that the top smelt of perfume. The top didn't smell of perfume and I had never worn the top which is what she was trying to infer. I know the company is in dire straits financially but I will never shop there again now. There customer service was shocking and I have never had this happen to me before. I dont know whether they get a lot of people wearing their clothes and then taking them back but I would never do that and feel totally upset and angry that they were able to accuse me of doing something I hadn't
I am very disappointed with Ted Baker Customer Service. I received the wrong size and tried to reach someone to obtain Return Mailing Label. I haven't been able to reach someone on the phone, but received response email that I couldn't exchange the item and needed to return item for refund. However, I cannot get anyone to provide a Mailing label or Mailing address. This is unacceptable, as it was their fault they sent me the wrong size.
I was sold a 2nd hand shoe for the price of a new show, although the customer service was responsive, they did not take ownership of their fault and correct the issue. I was offered a mere 10% of my order. So bad, so so bad...
Do not buy anything from Ted Baker. The bag/tote I bought fell apart and they said that they would refund my money. After almost two months I contacted them again and they apologized and said that they would return the money. Almost two months later, I have not received my money despite weekly calls, and now they won't return the defective merchandise. So they have my money AND my property.
I ordered a dress from TedBaker.com on 7/9/21. It was a size too small. I requested and exchange and sent the original purchase back, which was received at their facility on 7/19/21. I have received NO communication regarding my return or my exchange since then, despite countless calls and emails to customer service. It has now been 27 days since my original purchase and 17 days since they received my return.
The worst kind of online shopping experience so far. I have ordered a dress. This dress never came and after 1 month of no news I called to ask them about the dress they said that there was a shipping problem. They advised me to reorder the dress, however the dress was no longer in stock online. This has been such a waste of my time. DO not recommend for international shipping.
Went to Ted Baker in Yorkdale mall today. Wore shorts t-shirt and billabong hoodie had my Louis Vuitton never full with me. Went in looking for a quilted hand bag. Sales associate came up to me when I had the pink version in my hand snatched it away from me and said "is there something I can help you with" I said yes I'm looking at this bag she said Oh. I then tried to reach for the black version and she literally tried to hip check me out of the store. My 6 year old granddaughter said Nana she does not want you here I replied clearly. Sorry no sale for me at Ted Baker now or anytime in the future. So disappointed really wanted that bag. Louis here I come again
Very bad quality and terrible customer service! Jeans has dye my bright new light grey jumper in blue and the retailer does not want to take responsibility for the damage.

I have been trying for half an hour to talk to some one and finally got a woman with a heavy Bristish accent to send me a return label. The connection was bad and she disconnected! This is after failing to get a return label from their website. I entered the Order Number and Zip Code and it gave me an error that it was invalid!
Answer: HORRIBLE! You can rarely get ahold of them and when you do they are entirely unhelpful.
Answer: Any company will be better because youd actually receive your product. Ted baker has been the single worst shopping experience I've ever had.
Answer: When you email or call Ted Baker no one answer, so you have to assume this company is a scam.
