I was a great 5 star fan of this company until yesterday when, out of nowhere, they whacked $65 minimum purchase on my orders. I contacted customer service and got "standard spiel" reply; to do with shipping and being green. Trying to justify their decision and since when has China started being green! Had read reviews where people said they couldn't chat, all they got was spiel. I've now experienced it. First time in 12 months.
There was no chatting, no looking at my purchase history, nothing but poorly worded, grammatically incorrect spiel. Wow if you were angry before you contacted them...
I pointed out my scenario on chat; Temu doesn't give much choice when, 'only xx left in stock'; 'this item is xx people's cart' etc pop up. I either place a quick order, or miss out. I then go back to shopping and place an order either same day or next.
Temu, you need to listen to your customers. Yesterday was such a poor experience with customer service. You need to review your policy, $65 is ridiculous, or expect your customers to go elsewhere. Once all my orders have arrived and my returns credited, if there is no policy change I will walk.

My order status said delivered but no package to be found. After contacting costumer service, they claim it is delivered and not their problem anymore. I have never gotten the package. They don't help me at all.

After having bought items from Temu on numerous occasions. I have come to the following conclusion based on my experience.
The majority of the products are cheap compared to other online shopping websites. Shipping has been on time and without incidents.
The downfall of this online website comes down to the quality and the courier packaging of the products.
The upside is that there is a price adjustment within 30 days, so if the item you bought is cheaper now than when you made the purchase, they refund you the difference. (We are not talking a big difference here, just a dollar or two at most)
All products are packed in one plastic courier bag without bubble wrap or any protection from damage during transit.
Thus far, at least one item has quality issues in almost every order. While Temu prides itself in its free return policy within 90 days for the first return, this is not true as there are hidden costs. You are responsible for the return packaging and taking the package to the local courier. It costs you time, effort and petrol depending on how far you are from where you need to drop off the package.
Also, many reviews have complained that Temu's return process is tricky. Almost all items are eligible for returns and refunds within 90 days from the purchase date. However, it states on its website, "Clothing items that have been worn, washed, damaged, or have had tags, packaging, or hygiene stickers removed, or are part of an incomplete set" are not eligible. Again, this is not true. A friend bought a T-shirt, and the stitching came undone after one wear. Temu requested that he return the item before he get a refund.
The almost sold-out sign is a regular sight. I had "almost sold-out" items I put in the cart using my phone, and I had forgotten about it. Two weeks later, it's still available with the same old warning. While this could be true, items have sold out - when they dropped their prices to dirt cheap. But most of the time, it's more like a marketing tactic to urge you to buy.
In conclusion, there is no accountability for bad quality. No one but you will have to pay the price, literality. Temu's motto of customer service being their priority is debatable; if this were true, QUALITY ASSURANCE would be their objective. No, it's QUANTITY they are focused on. It is the reason why they don't have an exchange policy. They would refund you for quality problems, or if it's not the right size, you would buy the product again if you want. But then it's likely that you will have to buy other stuff to meet the amount required for the free shipping. Their quality rating is consistently low in the majority of the reviews.
Buy at your own risk, don't be surprised if you are filling the billionaire's pocket rather than shop like a billionaire!

Temu refuses to provide refund for defective products!
I ordered a number of items, one of which was defective. I took photos of the defective item that cost $2, fully expecting an immediate acceptance of my refund request. No. After two hours of chat time Temu still refused to issue a refund without me returning the product, which would have required me to walk an hour away to a shipper. Again, for a $2 defective product. Please shop at AliExpress. They are reliable, trustworthy and professional.

A bit of an unreal situation. 1 week of chats with customer service to warn them that the delivery couldn t reach me in time because I was moving abroad for good. So they decided to wait for the delivery to go forward anyways and process the refund once back in their warehouse...and you know what happened? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 the package was apparently delivered to a Ghost so they don t process a refund now. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

They are liars, I have physical proof of then lying. They say they delivered my items to a neighbour when there supposed to deliver to my address. Temu has a bad habit of repeatedly scamming or lying to customers regarding prizes and promotions. I personally have had over a dozen bad and unacceptable experiences, specifically regarding promised prizes or rewards. Contacting customer service requires repeated complaints only to be told either you aren't eligible for the promised reward due to some obscure technicality or told to wait for resolution only for nothing to be done. Personally I think it's a scam to get customers to give up so the rewards never have to be issued. And if by some chance you do finally get the minimal reward it takes numerous times contacting customer service and lodging multiple complaints. By the time anything is done, If anything is done at all you have to waste so much of your time it wasn't even worth it. I have personally spent in excess of 30 hours dealing with customer service over failed promises of rewards and credits being issued that I will likely be taking my business elsewhere permanently. My advice is pay the 5-10% more in cost and use other companies and sellers such as Amazon. Or if you really want medium to low grade products at low prices below the average sellers prices use a site like Alibaba, orders take a bit longer but you save just as much money without the scams and non-existent rewards that you never actually get anyways. Spare yourself the headache and frustration and just shop elsewhere.

I was looking around in the temu-app and suddenly i got a pop-up with an offer "shop for 200NOK and get a cupon of 1000NOK!", so i bought some stuff for 218NOK, and after i did, i got 3 cupons that i had to shop for thousands of NOK to use, and they didnt inform about this before i placed an order of 218NOK. I placed my first order. Half of the order was returned due to quality issues or misleading product descriptions.
The return process is cumbersome as you must take video or photos everything and provide multiple reasons. My packaged for my order arrived in two packages but I was only given a return shipping label for one package. Temu gives you an option of your refund to be a Temu Credit or refunded to your credit card I choose my credit card but got a Temu credit anyway. Customer service wouldn't help. Had to escalate to another department. Then one must wait for an email. That's my first order experience. NO THANKS TEMU! There's zero results from customer service on getting my actual refund instead of a credit.

They send you items that you didn't order. Then, when you contact them and tell them, they respond with, "According to our warehouse, they have shipped the correct items, and this issue is now closed." So you are essentially out of luck.
Then they harass you for your phone number only to sell it. I used a free number for them because I didn't trust them. I never received spam calls until 5 hours after Temu got this number, and now I get calls all the time.

From November of 2022 to Dec of 2023 I have bought 21 men's tops(great prices). Out of the 21 I have only kept 4 and threw the rest away. The rest either had a horrible fit, lose in places I didn't even know a top could be lose at, or felt like I was putting fiberglass on. Electronics, I don't know how much I have bought but none of it worked or didn't work right, trashed. I have bought sweat pants that I have kept, a little long but doable. In all, I've only kept about 20% of what I have ordered. Not worth the savings because you're not really saving, just wasting money. I won't buy from them again.

I don't mind buying certain products from Temu. Although, it is still a bit of a hit-or-miss with the quality.
However, they have decided to increase the free shipping from having to spend $20 to $35, and now they have greedily increased it to $40 in the guise of being environmentally friendly.
It is more likely that they are increasing the amount due to the frequency of the sales, so they are making you spend more to be entitled to free shipping.
I have $31 worth of products in my shopping trolley, but I have deleted them all, as I'm not prepared to give in to their greed by buying more stuff to get free shipping.
Note to Temu, please don't give me your generic copy-and-paste answers to contact your customer service. Not unless they have the power to provide free shipping for under $40 spent. This is a management decision to increase the free shipping entitlement amount willy-nilly. Let the management team realise that in the long run, they will lose more customers than gain more profit by increasing the free shipping entitlement amount.

I've ordered some nice things from Temu, but the shipping company, OnTrac is unreliable, often late, and does not follow delivery instructions. I am considering switching vendors due to Temu's continued use of this shipper and the numerous complaints about OnTrac's shipping practices. Temu also does not empower their employees to make business decisions that will resolve the customer's complaints in regards to logistics and this company, On Trac nor Temu has live customer service agents. Please research OnTrac reviews on Google. I will not order from any vendor that utilizes OnTrac for logistics.P

Have been requesting and following up with them for last 1 week for shipping by 11th day max while the order was submitted like 2 weeks ago.
Spoke to customer care they say talk to UPS and UPS says they don't have the package yet. I did this exercise for like 3 times and all the time same response. They dont even help to cancel the order...

Answer: There are free returns. Only one package return per order...so if you order 5 things you can return as many as you want but have to be sent in one package. If you buy say 7 items and return one and then a week or so later want to return other items from that same order you would have to pay for shipping on the second shipment...which makes sense since the company should not have to pay shipping on more packages than they sent.
