I bought a billie eilish album for 20 dollars and was extremely careful with it. I didn't touch the grooves or cause any harm- yet the album stutters and jumps. All my other records work perfectly fine. Money wasted on a crappy product.
I ordered a beautiful (I think because I obviously I haven't gotten it) mirror, that was NOT cheap and the product kept getting back-ordered. Once to June, and again they just let me know it would be in August. Honestly, just say you're out of stock of the item. Wont be purchasing furniture from them again. Unfortunate, one of my favorite stores.
Next day delivery costing £5.99 took *9 days* to arrive and came with a sale label £8 cheaper than the price I paid! This company does not deserve to be in business any longer.
Every order I have purchased from here has been delayed multiple times due to no stock. Took months for me to finally receive the item. Their customer service is incredibly useless. All of their responses are "We apologise for the inconvenience, we are unable to give more information at the time". How do none of the customer service representatives have any knowledge on any of the products and no information on when or if things will be restocked. Don't sell items if you don't have the stock. Will not be using this site ever again.
Also clearly this is a recurring issue why is the company not doing anything to resolve this to satisfy their customers. Again USELESS.
This company is absolutely terrible at communicating tracking, and their carrier lasership is unreliable. My package was lost in the mail and never arrived never order from here!
Besides the fact that they scam people with their mixed signal photos and descriptions, they charged my card TWICE and after almost 20 days I still didn't get my money back. Terrible service, terrible experience.

I ordered 2 pairs of skates at the same time, the smaller pair said it would be delivered on a specific date and was. The larger pair said it would be delayed for 2 weeks and then delivered. After the 2 weeks it said delayed another 2 weeks, 2 weeks later delayed again 2 weeks, not impressed.
I've ordered here and there from Urban Outfitters over the years and was never super impressed with their products or service. While subpar products never really bug me, subpar customer service does!
I happened to order a couple things recently and one of the item was marked as "delivered." I checked everywhere for it, and couldn't find the package, so I naturally contacted customer service to check on the package. The representation was kind enough to tell me that a replacement would be sent. Less than a week later I checked the status of my order and it was marked "returned" which is exactly NOT what I wanted.
So then I contacted customer service once again to check the status and sure enough, there was no record of a replacement and only a return. I asked for a replacement, they said it was unavailable at this time... I explained the situation and basically they told me to place another order and offered me 15% off for the inconvenience. I then asked if they could honor the discounted price I previously purchased the item and to cover the shipping cost (because this was already becoming a hassle and I was not going to pay again for this) and they told me to contact customer service again after I placed the order to get a refund/price adjustment.
I said no thank you, your customer service is unreliable as you tell me one thing and do another without authorization from your customer...
The reason I write this is because there are so many other retailers that offer amazing customer service, and UO should really do better. I did not feel that my time and opinions were valued nor were my requests honored!
I will say their customer service chat is quick and easy to use, but I guess that's good because it doesn't take the first time, and yes if something small goes wrong you will have to probably use it more than once!
I returned items back in Jan and they refused to provide the refund. They've tried to say this is my fault as I was missing some of the returned receipts however all items were sent on the same day via their courier service collect+. They owe me £63.36. I was a loyal customer for years I'm really upset, it's clearly a scam they're operating to prevent giving refunds during these hard times and double the profit. 1 of the returns was literally an it that they had sent incorrectly. I don't even know what to do about the situation!
After being told an item was in stock, I went to the Las Vegas store and it was not in stock. I then ordered this $26 colander to be shipped to me and they got the shipping address so screwed up, the package delivery could not even be corrected because UPS will only MODIFY or correct one parameter in a misaddress, and they got three parameters wrong---the street number, the unit number, and the zip code! When I complained the company, they offered no solution and took no responsibility. I then "googled" for the exact phrase, "Urban Outfitters Sucks" and 1100 hits were returned from the search.
Another satisfied customer? NOT!
I return my item price $29 but only receive refund $15. I contacted 3 times already was told to wait for them to precess refund. First by calling, 2nd via chat, was told to wait. Waited 1 week never get my refund, contacted again and was told 48 hrs, nothing happen. Never shop here ever again. This company is overpriced and fraud.
A total nightmare to deal with customer services if you have a problem and want to return the purchase. It states clearly online that my purchase can be returned until april. Yet custoner service say I cant return. The stores are closed due to lockdown there is no facility to get item collected from your house. I dont have printer. Cant get a QR code to hand in locally by relative. I am sheilding. Every store in UK is giving people extra time to return. But their customer services dont think so, pandemic or not. Dont buy from here. Too many other places to spend your money.
Let me just start with I usually don't leave bad reviews. But this is absolutely the worst customer service I have EVER experienced. I don't even know how they train their customer service people that multiple people will reassure their customer of the same wrong information over and over again. First, my originally in stock item was placed on backorder. I was very concerned so I contacted customer service. They reassured me many times that the order will not be cancelled. But guess what? The order was cancelled anyway days later. That is not all. They sent me an apology with a $10 discount for my next order over $50. So, I placed the order and the discount code worked. However, I had to cancel the order because I put the wrong address. They told me they are going to apply the $10 balance from their end in 1-2 business days but then I got an email saying that it will not be applied. When I contacted customer service over chat and told them about my issue, none of them could solve the issue so guess what they would transfer me to the next agent and I had to explain the issue a total of 3 times to 3 different agents. In the end, the issue was not solved. Anyways I'll never buy from them again, this is a waste of time and the worst I have ever experienced.
I have never had a company refuse to either give me the items I paid for or my money back. They shipped the items to the wrong adress eventhough I entered my current address which is how they billed me. I noticed they shipped it to the wrong address and I called them and ups and they just had to give my actual address to ups but they refused. I told ups to return packages. I now and 300$ down and have zero items to show for it and they just said file a police report or call your bank. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with.
I've been trying since Christmas to get a refund for an e-card which was cancelled by UO as I notified them that my goddaughter may have unintentionally deleted it, i was advised I had to purchase another which I duly did. I must have exchanged about 20 emails with nearly as many UO customer service operators since, regarding the refund which still has not been issued. I have asked repeatedly to be put in contact with the head of customer services in order to lodge an official complaint but still just batted from one operator to another via email. The last one guaranteed a resolution by yesterday, but nothing, and no reply to my follow up. Absolutely shocking customer service.

They started using a terrible shipping service as of late called Laser Ship. They'll post the package as delivered yet it never was. This happened more then once. I had to open a complaint with my bank to get a refund. Now I've been banned from shopping there. Not my fault they use a shipping service who can't do their job.
I want to start by saying, with the current pandemic, I completely understand and expect less staff, production, etc. but I still expect brand transparency. My mom originally ordered an item for me for Christmas, and it was said to be on backorder and ship by a date that would have arrived by Christmas. Weeks later, when it was said to ship, it was cancelled altogether and she was never sent it. I ended up being able to order my item after Christmas, and it was backordered for another few weeks but it finally shipped out, but I'm still waiting on arrival. Not every item is updating with day to day tracking, it just says expected delivery date. Also, I have previously ordered items and the same order was sent in multiple shipments. Urbanoutfitters.com is currently a complete mess, and shipping is pricey to not be able to accurately track. I recommend order pickup or if you can, just going to the store to shop until they can get everything figured out. It will save you the stress of wondering if your items are actually coming or not, trust me.
Order 3 albums on November 27th for Christmas gifts. Two came and the third is still not here on January 17th. Got an email saying it would ship on January 7th. Every time I call or chat with them online, they say they will look into why it hasn't shipped yet. Charged my account even though their website says they will not charge until they ship!
This company is horrible when it comes to customer service and shipping. My order, a simple pair of shoes did not ship for 7 days after I ordered them. When I inquired with customer service they had no answers. Once my tracking finally showed the item as shipped, the deliver date changed every day. I have yet to receive my purchase. Never again.
