I contacted this Company regarding my documents. There was no reply for almost 10 days. Then, they sent me a reply to contact some one else to track my travel documents. I had to contact CGI to get my documents. You cannot Trust this Company with your International Travel Documents. Only good thing is, if they loose any U. S citizen's documents, that will be the end of their business in U.S.A. (Plus fines imposed by the court) I don't know about other Countries.

Don't be fooled if they said they are trusted by Emirates & Dubai immigration. What they really care about is making money at expense of their customers.
UAE temporarily suspended visas for 13 Nationalities & I inquired 2 times if my visa can be approved. They assured me they can process & guess what I applied for a visit visa after booking via Emirates & on the second day my application got rejected without any reason. They could have not accepted it or told me to wait until visas open but they didn't & I lost about 850 AED.
The lack transparency!

AWFUL SERVICE
February 4, 2021

This organization is engaged in what seems like daytime robbery. Their service sucks and when you call for support, they add insult to injury by charging you for your calls, This should be illegal- I pay for service and when I call to ask questions, you charge me to answer? Such behavior will only be tolerated by Indian Embassies I guess.

Not refunding fees.
January 25, 2021

Due to a bug in their software system, they charged me the service fees which $234 but the application did not go through. It has been more a month and am still following up for the refund. Very pathetic company. They are literally running a scam!

Winning the MP/MLA election is easier than getting the OCI Visa. This is too complex process.
I would go for a visitor VISA instead of OCI and would suggest changing the easier way process. A lot of my friends complained about it and while I'm applying I really felt more pain than what they complained about.

I spend almost 400 dollars in notary and FedEx to get OCI renewal from VFS Global. They are so poor and pathetic in everything. They are so late in responding to queries and the site sucks. Even after sending them the required documents, they returned everything stating as the documents missing. They didn't even care to check their FedEx deliveries or the people have no coordination. If you want to call them, you have to pay huge money for it. It's a total waste of time, money and energy to deal with them. It's better to try for evisa while travelling to India. Indian consulate should immediately change this company ASAP. They simply sucks.

Site is broken, I am not able to proceed to book an appointment, written down several Emails, no response, talked to customer service they charged me 2.48$/min and at the end they say send out an Email to *******@vfshelpline.com they'll get back to you in 48 hours, it almost one week, no response.
Worst experience ever.
1. How can they put a broken website in production environment? Its ridiculous.
2. I never encountered any customer service who charge for the service (looks like they purposely put the broken website so that customer call them and they charge customers heavily for the call and make money)

This is really frustrating experience with VFS. My application received by VFS on 30th Nov and no update sent from VFS either through email or SMS. I paid twice each time more than $10 to the paid VFS customer care number just to get the update that my application is on hold because they need another set of Photo, I don't know how they can reject the Passport photos which was taken by professionals (CVS photos). Even after resending the photo more than a week, there is still no update and the status still shows "Your application is currently "on hold" due to certain deficiencies. Please check your email for more details and send the requested documents to the VFS Indian consular application Centre where you had submitted your application"

I don't know what is the going on here? This is the worst customer service by VFS by not sending us the updates through Email or SMS and expect us to call and pay everytime. My Husband and kids passport renewed through CKGS and we never had such situation before. Indian consulate should immidiately terminate VFS service and bring CKGS or any other goodone back.

Its not worth of anything. I can give negative 2 rating. When i started my Passport renewal, its not even progressing from page to page. Also there is no proper error message why it struck in the same page... After struggling 15days, sent Form. After completion of process in Embassy, vfs received documents. After 3 weeks documents from Embassy, vfs global portal says they are reviewing. I received an email asking for my dispatch address. Also its mentioned Passport is ready to dispatch. Afyer 4 days i called live agent asking when will i receive my renewed passport. He was said, we are still reviewing your document. After 4 weeks of document received, i still dont have info on will i receive my renewed passport..

First of all, the only option to reach out to customer care is by email. For such a global giant in visa and passport services, having no on-call support is very disappointing. With email, a person cannot expect regular responsible updates or replies. You will always get standard response irrespective of how much details you put on your email. They just don not have time to read it and respond based on questions raised. They go by the category of request and use their standard template to respond back. And talking about SLA will be a joke. After multiple inquiry you will get a response saying decision on particular request will be responded within x business days. But you can wait for 2x to 3x days but story will be the same... waiting. It is worst decision by Indian embassy to go with VFS. Really very bad experience. Not sure if there is any Indian embassy avenue where I can lodge my complaint against VFS or give the feedback.

Customer service is very bad and it really sucks. They have no clue about my questions about OCI misc services. At the end of the call, he simply said send an email to so and so address and they will get back in 48 hrs. To tell this, he literally took 10 mins and costed me $25 (They are charging $2.48 per minute).
I never saw a service provider who charges customers for support calls.

Used their service this time, quite expensive for UK visa processing. Their website instructions for payment and rescheduling is confusing, so I ended up paying twice as initially they said, to reschedule, the payment needs to be cancelled first. I requested a refund. They said 10-15 days,
Multiple emails back and forth, and remained unresolved. I called my bank and asked them
To cancel that payment.
Easy to get our money but when refund is needed. Just awful process.

Also, I am not sure why they charged so much for bronze package when all it provides if someone to check documents which anyone can do, take biometrics and and next day air UPS. They can't provide advise on what documents are included anyway, so what's with the horrendous pricing? All that for 400 plus dollars. Wow.

It's unfortunate that a lot of consulate are using their services.

My son applied for UK student visa from VFS KL taking their Gold service. Almost a month now. No updates from VFS at all. It seems there is no way to get in touch with VFS customer service as well. When we tried the VFS web form, they only direct us to UKVI which confirms that the decision is made already. I have no idea why it is taking so long even after UKVI processed it.

However, based on my own previous experience with VFS Dubai and other people's experience with VFS, I can assert that most of these positive reviews on Trustpilot are perhaps paid ones. VFS cares about lobbying the embassies to get businesses more, and they seldom care about customers who pay them. This VFS monopoly must end. Those who are posting here, please also post on Trustpilot as VFS claimed their account at Trustpilot but not here. Everytime there is a genuine post, you will see a few paid positive posts appears there immediately.

I wish some investigative journalist take the case and broadcast a comprehensive documentary about the VFS monopoly. Some former employees voiced out their frustrations with mismanagement here and there. Customers also wrote about their experience all over the Internet.

Trustpilot reviews are monitored by VFS actively and an army of paid people are active here to help VFS boosting its ratings. The true customer experience is a bleak one. I like the genuine reviews here at Sitejabber. Thank you

Sick company, nightmare
September 19, 2020

I still don't understand how a country can rely its entry processes on such a company. People trying to visit a country managed by vfs gets a very bad and poor image of that country because of vfs, Vfs manages the process like if you buy a pizza, but the pizza do not arrive, the will try to sell you even the staples on your sheets, not to say what a confusion the miriad of services they offer causes. But the worst was the sense of being prosecuted and judged by an impersonal or maybe automaticed response email, also disinformation. In my case they exceed time to give my passport back and I had to ask for a new one. They deny my Visa arguing I wanted to stay in a country even I did not have the profile for such a thing, I had work and tickets back. I give two thumbs down for vfs and hope soon the countries who contract them stop doing that, it seems they are only motivated by their low cost promise. Very bad company. Very bad for the countries who contract them

VFS Global NY is very inefficient and lacks organization. You will die of a heart attack if you take your business to them. And you will doze off if I provide you a timeline of all my correspondence with them (call and email). So for your sanity, go to the embassy even if it costs you.

Vfs stole my refund
November 14, 2019

I applied for a refund in July 2016 and it's now November 2019 without my refund being paid. I have been to their offices so many times but their very incompetent staff failed dismally to help me get my money.
