When I contacted customer service, the explanation was that the offer only applied to select women's watches, something not disclosed in the original email. In Australia, this kind of misleading headline promotion—where exclusions are hidden until checkout—would likely breach ACCC guidelines on bait advertising. Equally concerning was the international freight charge: USD $91.96 for a single watch. That figure seems excessive, especially when many grey-market competitors manage similar shipments at a third of the cost, even with insurance. It creates the impression that margins are being quietly recovered through inflated shipping fees. WatchMaxx responded courteously, but ultimately offered no remedy—no shipping concession, no alternative goodwill, no meaningful solution. I opted to take my business elsewhere. The key takeaway? If you're an international buyer, tread carefully. Read every fine print, factor in the freight costs upfront, and don't expect coupon codes to behave logically at checkout. Trust, once damaged, is difficult to repair.

I removed 1 star because the manual and cards were removed from the box and it disappointed me
Prices, shipping, and order was great. Only thing that didn't give them 5 stars is that when I received my watch the warranty card wasn't in there and when I called they said someone already registered it. Not a huge deal but for a new watch it was disappointing. Besides that I would buy from them again!
