Do not use Travelmerry

I had a terrible experience with TravelMerry. I tried making reservations for my trip, but they failed to secure my booking multiple times, blaming it on declined credit cards — even though my cards were working fine elsewhere. After several failed attempts, I spoke with a supervisor who told me I'd have to pay more for the same reservation due to their internal issues. When I pushed back, he hung up on me. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I do not recommend using this site — it was a waste of time and a major headache.

STAY AWAY from this scam company.
They will wait until 24 hrs before your flight to cancel your ticket. They will never refund your money. I am seriously puzzled how come the authorities didn't raid their offices yet.

I purchased several tickets in March for travel in July. In less than 48 hours, I received my reversal number with payment confirmation. A month later, I contacted the airline with a question about my reservation and learned it had been canceled by the agency. I contacted the agency, and the solution they offered was to undisclose the card charges. I received no further responses to calls, emails, etc.

Unprofessional

I was very disappointed by their customer service. Initially, they wrote back stating that I could cancel the flight and get a full travel credit. Once I had proceeded with the cancellation, they changed their mind and were only offering me a third of the paid amount as travel credit! When I tried to apply this reduced travel credit for a new booking, they eventually just hung up on me. Even after emailing them back and asking for a fair resolution of that situation, the company has just ghosted me.
We travel a lot but it's the first time such unprofessional customer has happened to us! I would stay away from booking through them.

I booked an international ticket with TravelMerry at a good price and provided my credit card, but it turned out to be a bait-and-switch. My card wasn't charged, and they kept saying the payment was being processed, and "not to worry". After 10 days of delays, I called and found out my ticket was canceled because of "an issue with my bank"—except my bank never received any charge attempt. At that stage, I was left with no choice but to buy a more expensive ticket last-minute. They pressured me to buy from them the same itinerary for much more money, but I ended up calling the bank to block them from charging me, and bought the ticket directly from the airline. Within 2 hours, I had my ticket confirmation. Same credit card, no issues. Avoid TravelMerry—they're not worth the hassle, and the waste of time and money. Be careful

Horrendous service & frauds

Never ever try to use the company. I repeat never ever try to book using this website. The names are fake used by the customer agent. They will reply back and confirm the tickets are completed and a $#*! $#*! excuse for not sending the flights. In the meantime they will sell your credit card details and you will see random transactions. After few days another excuse and the tickets were not booked for some reason. Worthless service, don't go for this scam.

I purchased a ticket online that was immediately (within minutes) voided and I was called to pick an alternate time. I asked for my money back and was told it would take days or weeks to process so I took an alternate (less ideal) time. The second ticket was then voided (by travelmerry per Delta) a couple of days later and I didn't find out till checkin time. I ended up having to miss another day of vacation to straighten it out and they even tried to charge me for the change! Avoid at all costs. Dangerously incompetent.

True great deal!

I originally wanted to book the least expensive JetBlue flight, and I received a call and e-mail to request my call back. I know here is the same pattern as published complaints of other reviews. The phone operator alternatively offered a Delta flight at a similar departure time on the same day at the original JetBlue price. After receiving the Delta flight confirmation, I can indeed manage it directly thru my Delta account. TravelMerry is legit, this is NOT a scam. I would use TravelMerry again. Thank you.

Worked well

I read some of the reviews and was hesitant. But the price was a winner. So i booked a ticket on a low cost airline. I got a call that the airline does not have any seats but that i would be rebooked for the same route, almost the same time on a national carrier. Then i thought -scam. N`But lo and behold, 18 hours later i received the confirmation and it checked out. The price was not good, it was absolutely unbeatable

Unprofessional Idiots or Scammers!

I'm angry as hell! Never again!
All reviews above confirm my experience.
I booked the flight for the good price $575 (just 4 days getaway). The confirmation popped up on their page: " it is in process and not confirmed". I started to worry. Next morning I received voice call with Indian accent which I literally did not understand. The only words were clear "call me back". It means that even the NAME OF THE COMPANY they can not pronounce clearly. Definitely I did not pay attention and did not call them back.
They did not text me, they did not email. When I called them to confirm my booking, it was too late, the flight I wanted was gone, they offered $1270 instead of $575 to spend for 4 days vacations and the time of new flights turned my vacation into 3days.
Two days of waisting my time and my nerves.
Some one here already wrote that they DO NOT LISTEN! Its correct, they talk parallel with you, they don't stop talking when client try to say something. Is it Indian culture?
Very stressful! Hate it!
The information of my credit card is on their file. Hope the will not charge it.

Changed flights

I bookecsith travel merry and unfortunately they changed all of the flights I had booked. I recognize that it's out of their control sometimes when flights get full but reading other reviews it seems like this is a pretty common problem. I feel like they just list flights that are unavailable. Also when the representative called to change my flight he was very upset with me on the phone, maybe he was just having a bad day but I feel like if he was angry with his company and took it out on me. I would not book through this site again.
That being said the price and times for my flight changed didn't vary much. So I still get to go to my destinations but I feel like they made what should have been an easy interaction more difficult.

Annoying!

Booked a flight, paid! Then 14 hours later, they call and say the flight is full and they want to reschedule me. 10 hours later, multiple phone calls back and forth, I finally pay. Soon after, they call to ask for an additional $200+, they changed my airline and cannot negotiate for a lower rate; I ask them to cancel immediately and call the bank to reverse payment. 30 minutes later, I have a ticket after calling the airline directly - SUCH A WASTE OF PEOPLE'S TIME & RESOURCES! KEEP OFF FROM THESE SCAMMERS!

Booked a Spirit airlines flight with Travel Merry, got an email with a reservation code but it said my flight was not yet confirmed and tickets could change. I immediately got worried. I got a phone call a few hours later from an agent that there was an issue booking my ticket BUT he found the same flight for me with DELTA and it was almost the same times for departure & return. POSITIVES: I was SHOCKED when I actually got the tickets 2 days later and the man stayed on the phone with me to verfiy on the Delta website that the tickets were real. He sent me the details in an email and asked me to verbally approve before charging. I was very skeptical because Delta's prices were 3 times the cost of Spirit and I thought it was too good to be true! He did not ask me for any additional Credit Card information over the phone and the signature in the emails he was sending me looked official from the Travel Merry website. NEGATIVES: On the Travel Merry website under the bookings page, it never had a pending or processing booking, it was just blank so I was very paranoid the enter time I waited for my tickets to be issued. Another red flag was, the agent said he needed to verify my bank account before he charged the full amount. He said there would be a. 05-. 20 cent charge and asked me to verify the amount to prevent Credit Card Fraud, it was refunded a day later. I booked on a Saturday, Sunday was Easter, I didn't get my tickets until Monday late afternoon and I called everyday in a state of paranoia after reading reviews. It wasn't a scam, but I gave 4 stars because of the stress with the changes and the amount of times I needed to call to have my issue resolved. One other weird thing is that my ticket has MRS. In it. Example ChristinaMiss Kerrigan. It says on Delta that it's free to change the name so I am calling Delta to make sure that everything is good to go before we fly. POSITIVE We saved a hell of a lot of money flying Delta at the same price as a spirit flight!

Whatever this is travel agency website whatever it has zero accountability to customer satisfaction the people are rude and disrespectful and God forbid something goes wrong they have again zero accountability when it comes to helping the customer receive any type of compensation whatsoever for lost bookings even when you purchase insurance they still have no responsibility to help you recover lost funds they need to be banned immediately

Total scam

I was referred through skyscanner. After booking and paying, a notification popped up that I needed to call *******853 to "verify payment." An outsourced foreign call center picked up and said they would send me an email confirming my booking, except he claimed to change my flight to a different airline but for similar times. I waited on the line with the person and the email never arrived. Then he said to send *******@travelmerry.com an email and he would reply with my details. That email never arrived. I checked on the airline's website for the new flight that he claimed to book for me and no such flight existed. Shame on skyscanner for referring an obvious scam. I'll be using kayak.

They are SCAMMERS

Today earlier i booked a ticket from TravelMarry through skyscann. The price looked very reasonable and i booked it. It was $546.44 to Turkey from JFK with one of the Major Airlines. 15 mins after i booked my ticket a guy with an Indian accent named Shawn Williams called me and said that we couldn't find a plane with the airlines you booked earlier instead we will book you an another flight which is only $1250. 00 with another Airlines. Luckily, i was able to call my bank and warned them and cancel any transaction from them. So, they are scammers and time wasters. Stay away from this ppl. Pay a bit more and travel with a known agency.

Refund policy sucks

I will never buy from Travel Merry again. Flights to Spain was canceled because of COVID 19. They charged a cancellation fee for each ticket. Airlines can not fly no choice by me and still charged a fee. I suggest everyone to stay away from booking with Travel Merry. I would give them zero stars but it is not possible.
