I tried to cancel my account because my email had been part of a databreach. I had a subscription I tried to cancel so I can close my account. Instead, I was given a "free month" that their tech support couldn't remove so I have to sit with a product I no longer wanter 90 days before I can cancel? Why do I want to kill my Yahoo email? Because I receive tons of emails like this:

Not me-and yet I explained to Yahoo that this is happening and I want to safeguard myself by deleting the email account due to the security leak, but nope...90 more days that scammers have access (yes, password and authentication has been updated) I don't want to have to deal with this anymore.

I am convinced that Yahoo is full of idiots. I created a Facebook account back in 2007 with an email address set up 2 years prior and have lost access to my account due to the stupidity of Yahoo. FB doesn't even recognize my email anymore and I can't look in my Yahoo account for anything because they've deleted all of my emails. If you're that bitter that no one uses your services as much anymore just file for bankruptcy and disappear. It's like they're punishing people for moving on.

Big Brother!

As people who read my reviews will note, I've become more and more concerned about 'Big Brother' tactics used by large corporations. Governments try to restrict data gathering, but are years behind in legislation.

Yahoo is the latest I've noted for underhand tactics. I cleared all cookies, etc from my laptop. Then I logged into Yahoo through their 'Yahoo UKI News, email and search' link. This gives you the chance to restrict cookies etc.

You can turn two sets of cookies off, but then there is the innocuous "Special Purposes and Features" headings. Most people will ignore these two options and go direct to 'Save Choices'. Click on either of these two headings and be prepared to be shocked!

Listed under both these headings are 464 'partner' companies of Yahoo that have access to your data. As far as I'm concerned "its goodbye Yahoo". I will never willingly give my consent to 464 companies having unwelcome access to my data. I suggest people move to other mail sites that are more customer friendly.

Yahoo sucks!

Yahoo mail is no different than the day/year it was made public. It is outdated and has become absurd to use.
While signing out of Yahoo mail, you are blasted with left wing propaganda, which is based on either fiction, or distorted half truths. The USA is falling apart, people are struggling like never before, there is barbaric war being waged in Ukraine, and the economy is about to collapse. What abetter time to focus on yet more made up stories abut Trump, who isn't even president anymore. Why would you report on Biden literally distorting the country, when you can focus on Jan 6, or tax returns from the early 80's. Yahoo, is yet another anti American, Anti christian, Anti freedom platform dividing the people, reporting lies as news, and helping ruin the once greatest country on earth. $%&*&! Yahoo!

We as humans can be simple minded as well as forgetful sometimes especially when it comes to internet passwords. I've had the same email address for almost 24 years and I have it linked to both instagram and a few other accounts. I recently switched phone providers where I had to get a new phone number around the same time. I forgot my password for yahoo. My thought was no problem. I'm sure I can get this resolved. After hours of searching the web trying to find any possible way to fix this issue. I came up with nothing. Last resort was to call customer service. I spent several hours on the phone feeling like I was not taking serious and that I'm just not important enough to get it back. After long debates with the gentleman I talked with I finally was able to verify my account via scanning my actual ID in for him. I was told that once I get my ID and if everything is correct, then we can proceed with a new password. Again after hours of speaking with this guy I was told that I need to purchase a package of $15 value before I can actually get my email back. I told him that I was assured that there was no cost as long as I was able to verify my account. Mocking me as well as a huge waste of my valuable time to be told I need to now buy the same email I've had for 20+years. I am still unable to open my instagram acc and even though i was able to verify myself & my account.
I guess this is why I have never heard someone say "I don't know / let's yahoo it" #google

My account got hacked and in order to get any help I had to pay for "yahoo+ paid premium support" just to get someone on the phone. I then spent half an hour trying to explain to the rep that no I cannot access my account because it's been HACKED. "Unfortunately there's nothing I can do without your account password and phone." Really? Then why is literally every other email service able to? For free? This company is an absolute joke. They're crashing and they know it, and they're taking it out on their customers. All I want is to delete my account that has been hacked, which there should be protocols for. It's not that hard. Now all of my personal information is in the hands of someone else, and they won't do a damn thing about it. Cannot express enough disgust with the situation. Spare yourself from ever using them.

We ask specifically about insurance when we interviewed them they told us we were well covered and they never ever had a problem. See damages and today 4 months later they send me a release form to release them from coverage saying i did not have enough insurance. They offered 83 dollars but i have to release them no way... please spread this email make it go viral make them pay one way or another. I do not recommend - furthermore what was quoted and signed for they actually charged me 500 more4 when i complained they said they would not deliver my personal stuff - this is a HORRIBLE operation do not give them your money

My post is about Elkour Lawn Service. A very pleasant first meeting. I hired them for the season; snow removal and grass maintenance. I paid in cash but I have bank records about withdrawals to cover it. To start the snow removal was painful. I had to call most of the time for them to come. Comes spring. Had to call for the first grass cutting many times. I am still calling for them to fulfill the contract, 20 cuts weekly and then I will pay extra. We are half way through the summer. So far they have come 3 times, last time they cut the grass so short it mostly died. Don't trust these people!

If I could give zero stars to this so-called business, that's what it would be! On Monday April 18th my family and I were returning from Florida to JFK airport. I had booked ARB Parking to park and take care of my SUV. Was gone for a week. Upon returning I called for the ARB shuttle to pick me up. When I got there, I come to find out they Destroyed my right rear tire and rim. I was very upset on how irresponsible this business is! This parking facility is very unorganized and unprofessional. Not to mention very careless and are liars! All they care about is the money! I was there for almost 3 hours trying to get this matter resolve. I had to take charge of changing the flat tire if I wanted to leave! For the next couple of days, I've been trying to contact the owner and he won't answer my calls. Small claims court is the next step. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT USE ARB PARKING! They will damage you vehicle! Pictures are my proof.
