It's a great source for people wellbeing as well as in the career aspect. Well recommended for everyone who feel low or what ever problem it could be.! Listener's will listen so patiently & kindly.
A great place to talk though issues and find solutions. A lot of people of 7 Cups have good hearts and good intentions
Its nice to have people to listen, and this website does just that. It helps people feel heard and makes people feel seen.
I love being a listener, this app is going to help a lot of people. I would totally recommend it for anyone who wants to help others with mental health problems or feels like they need an easy way to get help with their mental health issues.
The people on this site are really nice, I am truly sorry if you got a mean person but if you did I can recommend chatting with NezTheHelper, she is really nice and you can talk to her about anything!
This is a great way to talk out your feelings. I think that sometimes it can be hard to speak to your friends about stuff that is going on in your life so having an online person that does not know you in in person can really help.
It's good i mean i myself helping people from 2 years now but there r some people who don't need help and yet they r here trying to take their hormones out in this game like wtf go get a dating site
I really love the time i spend here and also helped me alot to get through things in my life i get more happier when help more pple every day so a big thnx for having me
This platform offers free mental health support, and it's the best I've come across till date. They are making it possible for everyone to get the support they need at no cost and everything is run by volunteers. Love it!
I think 7cups is an amazing platform! Some of the free volunteer listeners are amazing! I've been a volunteer listener for 7cups for a few years now. I think overall the site does a ton of good for the world. I definitely recommend that everyone try to become a Listener if they think they might like it. I also recommend that you try instant messaging one of the listeners if you are feeling down or have a problem to talk about. Some of the listeners are super helpful.
This site used to offer safe space and genuine peer support from volunteers who cared as well as acted respectfully. It did not take long for those listeners to all but disappear as 7c dramatically moved away from helping users, transforming the site into a glorified social media platform empathizing in-house referrals to overpriced paid therapists. 7cups (of tea) used to be a sanctuary. Now it's just another sales site.
I love the experience and helping people as a listener. Some people have serious problem they need help with and listening won't always help them. There need to be course or something to be able to give advice or help. Because a lot of people can't afford a therapist. Or therapist prices on the site should be cheaper.
A good website free of charge, and you can sign, up like I did, and help many people and listening to their problems that the person who is talking to you has never told anyone before. I enjoy listening and helping people, and seeing them in a better state of mind they were they started talking to you.
I am an active listener and personal user of the platform and I love it! I think it reaches a lot of vulnerable people and populations who are in awkward limbo of not necessarily needing crisis intervention. My only "complaint" is that the website/app are dated. It could be more user-friendly.
I am a listener on 7 Cups and it's actually a pretty good site for those needing a listening ear. Sometimes there are those who are not well trained that are trying to give advice, but most of the time there are people who are genuinely interested in being a supportive person to reach out to. I've been someone who used the site before volunteering as a listener, and on both ends of the spectrum, I've had some pretty good conversations with others.
The site which is known as 7 Cups is a really great way to connect to those who have volunteered themselves as listeners who understands and offers emotional support and some tips or just be there as a listening ear which is at no cost of course. Furthermore, this site also lets you sign up as members where if you( listeners) find yourselves in any trouble or are struggling with anything this is a great way to connect to listeners. Even though, the site is anonymous, you will find no fault that you will find that you will be heard and haven't had your time wasted. Highly recommend this site. Every aspect of this site is free so no need to have money worries however if you decide to have therapy via the site you will need to pay a small amount of money and the site is just like real therapy should you decide to take a sign up to therapy. Hope you get the benefit of the site as I think this a really great way to get support.
Honestly 7cups is a great website specifically if you're trying to become a therapist or any type of counseling in the future of the career. They have a lot of grade interactive activities and videos through their pathways and academies I would recommend to anyone wanting to advance their listening skills.
I would to thank personally Ms. ASilentBunny for assisting me through out my journey. She is a great verified listener indeed!
Answer: It's a legit company! Definitely not a scam :) In my experience, I've been on as both a listener and member, it's not a scam. We're trained & take courses (as listeners) to best support members. Each listener is different, as is each member, so there may be bad experiences with one listener or vice versa. We have therapists we can ask for advice or refer people to as well.
Answer: I would suggest that any person seeking true authentic assistance NOT visit this site. It is unsafe, damaging and narcissistic and does NOT offer true help or support in any way
Answer: I would imagine that there are many other sites that are BETTER than 7cups
Answer: To send one-on-one messages, you should be able to just click on the text box and type in it. I find it's harder to use on mobile browser so if you're doing that, maybe try switching to desktop. Otherwise, I would just wait a minute or reload the page, it lags sometimes
Answer: You sure can! This is actually a very helpful feature on 7cups
