Been a Google Adword user for the past 14 years when nobody knew what Adwords were. About 6 months ago our mobile phone would ring looking for Barber shop, restaurant, Walmart, amd many more radon place. They would all say they would Google these place and hit the phone number thinking they were calling these businesses. These calls would go to our phones, 2, 3, 4 a day talking to these strangers. Besides being changed everyday for these call that had no relevant to our business. Talked to Google 6 months age about this problem and they kind of blew it off, so about 2 motns ago we stopped using Adwords. Once we did that, the calls stopped. This morning I decided to use one key word on Google and within a few hours the calls started to come, one for a restaurant and one for a barber shop. Talked to Google again and they have no answers of why it is happening, but sure will take your money. Yu would think a company this size could find the answer.

Google adwords might be great for some however it's an expensive waste of money and time, we've spent £1000's and days / weeks / months trying to get the best out of it, but still at the end of the day the budget gets drained and conversion rate just doesn't cut it, we reverted to manual cpc because google's automated methods drain money even quicker, If you are willing to try then be prepared to lose money because unless you have high profit margins it just doesn't work. Never been more frustrated than using google shopping, I might as well gone to the bank drew out a few thousand and chucked it down the drain

Worst customer services ever! I had one of their reps set us up and we were getting charged a ridiculous amount of money for poor marketing. Not to mention, our business closed down so we cancelled our google listing. We assumed that cancelling our listing would also cancel AdWords. Boy were we wrong. We got changed an AdWords fee for a closed business that obviously didn't need the advertising. I tried explaining this to the rep on the ph and she was beyond rude and refused to refund us the charge. We have given google thousands of dollars so you would think they would want to leave off on a good note and give us the refund. They need to work on a better relationship with clients because word of mouth travels fast and I will never recommend them.

The entire program sucks, unless you are google trying to steal money! These idiots want all the cash they can grab, adwords is as complicated as possible to rob you blind! Then google steals your photos, manipulated the search engine and pretty much blackballs you if you are not campaigning enough. Google search engine sucks, nothing correct comes up anymore, 1,234,345,678,987,000 result in 2 seconds, ALL WRONG!
ANY EBAY PICTURES ARE ONE YEAR OLD, MOST OTHER SITE, ITEM SOLD SIX WEEKS AGO. GOOGLE JUST PLAIN SUCKS!

I've spent thousands with Google Adwords for my business Rob Deejay (Mobile Disco), and up until last year was a happy customer with a thriving business, I've now just swapped my advertising to YELL.COM because Google Adwords failed me miserably. I even tried the Adwords Express which was exactly the same. RUBBISH!

The customer service is abroad and its very hard to speak to someone who is reading answers off a computer screen like a robot. My campaign shows lots of traffic through my website yet, I've hardly had any phone call or email enquiries.

All I kept on getting from Google was tips on how to increase my budget! I was spending nearly double but still no leads for new business! But plenty of spam contact form enquiries from google adword optimisation companies.

Google tried calling me when I paused my ads campaign, and sent me an email saying reply to this email and we will call you straight back. I waited a day then rang Yell.com and its now £92 a month instead of £135+ a month.

I've had lots of enquiries for new business since going with Yell.com about 4 weeks now! Goodbye Google Adwords, with your terrible interface, non existent leads and worst customer service ever!

I have been told that Google is a great way to sell your product. I usually use TV marketing but Google signed my company up and it has been a horror show. The guy who set up my campaign promised me that I could get a click for $0.30 but behind their trickery I got not one sale. But they charged me for over 1,000 clicks. They boast their self that they make billions of dollars ripping off the little guy. What a rotten way of making money. I can't reach them by phone. Everything goes to India. This morning, I wanted to know why I'm getting no clicks. They want me to accept anything that they would charge me. I'm going back to TV commercials. You cannot reach them in USA by phone. They must pay the people in India peanuts.

I never had an account with Google AdWords but they say I did and I noticed money was taken off my card for $168.00 one month from them and I looked further they also took money from me the previous month and attempted previous months before then but didn't succeed. When I confronted them they told me how to get into the account it showed zero clicks for all them months but the AdWords India guy said I have like 600 clicks and they charge for every click. Only I never signed up with this company so they took transactions from my card without permission and I been fighting for a refund they won't give this has been going on since April they hung up on when I called they stopped replying to my emails. This Google and AdWords shouldn't be in business they should be in jail for fraud and stealing. I'm going to the better business bureau and I hired an attorney to get all my money back

I used to do very well with my service company through Google AdWords. Since then they have made it so complex that you just spend and spend and spend money. Their customer service sucks and now I am having to compete with amazon, wayfair, Home Depot, Lowe's, etc etc etc

They now actually images from these companies selling the same products and services that I sell.

It is not fair and Google can kiss my $#*!. I'll take my $25,000/year budget over to yahoo, bing, Facebook and other CPC services

$25k/year is an awful lot for a small business and once they added all of these ad quality BS - the stuff that was working well for my company and now none of my ads show because of a low quality score because now all they show are the billion dollar company

I ran a campaign for 2 months, and spent over $1000 dollars. There supposedly 776 clicks and 123 calls, but I did NOT RECEIVE A SINGLE VALID CALL. Instead, the calls which came from the ad were completely off-target (even tho the ad is very targeted and clear), or they sounded drunk or seemed to be butt-dials or other weird stuff. I don't know how to explain this or what it means but it was frustrating. And customer service was horrible as other reviews have commented. I finally cut my losses and stopped the campaign.

I've tried using Google Adwords several times throughout the years. I've always found it EXTREMELY difficult to work with and, like everything Google does, it spins you around in a lot of circles b/c, other than their search engine, they don't actually implement or text anything very well before they just throw it out there.

Every time I've advertised with them, I've watched it daily to make sure my costs aren't going through the roof and, every time, I end up spending twice as much as what I'd intended. (There's no way they're ever going to refund anything, either, so don't bother trying.) My recent charge was $250 when I'd intended to spend $100. Even though every time I logged in to check my account and it said "No Ads are Running", Google said, "Oh, they actually were, our bad."

I hate them. SO. MUCH.

We do not want anyone making money online... That is their new policy, one disapproved ad and your account is closed just like that... Its like there is a Guy with a disable button in Google Adwords waiting to close your account the minute your domain is flagged and you are said to be "violating their policy" mine is http://ambrotose.life I wish I could give them zero stars
