I am very disappointed with Allure Beauty Box and how they handled my recent issue. I received a defective Sunday Riley B3 Nice Serum in my subscription box. The serum was discolored, smelled unusual, and was clearly not safe to use. I immediately contacted customer service, provided photos, and requested a replacement or refund. Instead of resolving the problem, every response came from a different representative who did not appear to review the full conversation. I was offered: Unrelated items (a blush, hair mask, or cream that was not even a serum), A 4 mL sample as a replacement for a full-size product, or A $15 gift card, which does not cover shipping and is essentially useless compared to the value of the serum I paid for. After weeks of back-and-forth, they refused to send a replacement or refund, citing their 60-day policy. This was extremely frustrating because the issue wasn't about late timing — I received a defective product from the start. As a loyal subscriber for over a year, this was my first time reaching out to customer service, and it has been a very disappointing experience. I have decided not to renew my subscription because I no longer trust Allure Beauty Box. Consumers should be aware: if you receive a defective product, don't expect a fair resolution. Customer service is unhelpful, inconsistent, and unwilling to take responsibility.
