My account was flagged for Fraud. Someone broke in and made a large $1000+ order with multiple items. Amazon flagged it but only stopped part of the charge from going through. I followed up with them and requested a refund for the fraud purchases. They confirmed everything would be cancelled and refunded within 2-3 business days. It's been weeks. I called 4 times today and have been getting the run around. They told me I have to wait another 1-2 business days for their accounts team to email me with more questions. Then I'll have to wait longer for the refund. This is absurd. The entire order was Fraud yet they only take responsibility for part of it. The whole thing was blocked and cancelled immediately yet I still have to pay for part of it?!
With their multiple apologies and excuses they offer me a $5 credit on my account. I've spent HOURS on the phone with them. They think my time is only worth $5... I'm pulling my multiple subscriptions from Amazon and no longer purchasing items for my company through them (thousands of dollars worth of Ipads, Paper products, cables...every year).

I shopped on Canada Amazon for years and found out that they push for sale incredibly aggressively now! You can't write a negative review for the product. Furthermore, I am a senior, and the content of the shows advertised are meant for teenagers, not ever would I consider watching any of them. When I called to ask why, I was told that it had to go to upper management, but of course, I was told that they could not be reached, and then, I was hung up on! I have spent a lot of money on Amazon, with purchases, and with streaming services. Absolutely terrible company.

I purchased a California King bed frame from Amazon, it came defective I called Amazon and they said they would send out a replacement. They said I would have my replacement within two days and that the truck driver when dropping off the replacement will take the defective one back at the same time. It was two weeks before I seen my replacement and the truck driver did not take back the defective one. I got a hold of Amazon again he told me he would send me an email that I would just have to fill in my address name and forward it back to them which I did twice. It has been in my garage ever since and I got an email from Amazon threatening me that if I don't return the defective one by April 4th they will charge my Mastercard another payment of $570! Very frustrated I called Amazon and asked them what's going on how come this hasn't been picked up? They put me through to management and they told me that I had to drop it off at UPS, keep in mind this box is 130 lb and 7 ft long. That was the reason it came with a trucking company Rosenau transport. I told them I don't have a truck to take it to UPS and the lady in management was laughing at me,. I was so frustrated when she told me she can't do anything for me, I sense deleted my account with Amazon and will never spend another penny at Amazon. Now myself and my wife have spoke to many people in management telling them our situation they said they would call us back five times never called us back once. We have spent thousands of dollars at Amazon to get treated like this is unacceptable
I wanted to update my credit card expiry date and was told that I must download an app. I said that I didn't want to. That I had been using Amazon for years with out it. They hung upon me. I didn't raise my voice or was mean they just hung up. The worst part was when I called back and told.the next agent that I had been hung up on and explained the problem they also hung up on me. Both companies said return it for full refund including shipping costs. They also said include copy of return shipping cost invoice for full refund with item. I did as told and it cost me $62 to courior it back but after reciving thier product back was told oh too bad for you we dont cover return shipping! Now i spent $62 cdn and have nothing for it. I mean it's Amazon. They're good for some things but awful for others. If you have a heavy package it probably won't ever get to you, stuck at warehouses for weeks then nothing. All Amazon offers is wait, past due date, 2 day shipping is actually 2 week. No photos, I didn't get the item
I'm done with Amazon. I'm going back to a brick and morter store because at least I know my items will be correct. I ahve had a number of instances where my item went to another house, i get someone else's delviery, or like today, totally wrong item delivered. It was a birthday gift for my son that he will have to wait for now while the replacement comes. On the return side, I have to sit aorund my house now waiting for someone to pick it up because there is no ability to schedule a time window. Very disappointing.

Amazon.ca prime has been robbing me and has awful customer service. They have been double billing me for my prime membership for over 2 years. They will not refund me the membership costs. Even though I canceled my credit card in hope a new Amex card would stop the double billing I found They are still double billing me. I had to cancel my prime membership today as I can't stop the double charges on my credit card. They didn't offer me even some free months of prime for all the money they have double billed me. I got a giftcard from my boss for Xmas. I made an account and ordered a table and chairs for our new house. My account was then put on hold.
I have been calling them every other day for 2 months trying to resolve it. They won't tell me why it's on hold. I have provided them all of the things they asked for in order to verify. Id, credit card statement, pictures of the physical gift card, proof of address etc etc etc.
It is back and forth over and over with customer service and account specialists but yet to be resolved. My most recent interaction they emailed me saying to change my password, set up 2 step authentication, etc. So I go to do that but MY ACCOUNT IS STILL ON HOLD! So I call them again about it. The next email I receive is the account specialists saying Hello,
We received your most recent communication.
We had already implemented the appropriate resolution and sent you an email with further guidance.
I cannot action their implemented resolution because when I login my account is still on hold.
This is a friggin nightmare and the worst customer experience of my life. I am stuck in a circle and no one from that company cares that I have been doing this with them for 2 months just to get my $250 giftcard. Absolute insanity.
I want that money as it is a large gift from my boss so I have to continue to torture myself with Amazon.ca and their lack of coherent employees. Not happy with their customer service. I have not found my package as they claimed, and yet wanting me to go to Neighbors and ask if they have received my package by mistake or. I should go to police and claim a $60 lost.
I used to give Amazon.ca costumer services a five stars. But I didn't order for a while and had issues with every single orders I made in about two weeks. And the last order was stolen because the driver didn't follow the delivery instructions. Impossible to get a refund, impossible to talk to a supervisor of the specialist team. Specialist team keep sending me same email over and over again to different questions I asked. They do not answer the questions, just sending the exact same generic email over and over again. I give a one start to their costumer services now.
