Scammers

Placed an order, your App gave me an error message so I placed a duplicate order. I returned the item the minute it arrived and since then Amazon has received it. I am told I am to wait a month to get my credit card (Amazon credit card) refunded. In the mean time I have to make interest payments on the credit card. I guess good business for you guys but shifty move with your customers. I wonder how much you guys make out of people with this kind of shaddy behavior

I ordered an item on July 12th with a guaranteed delivery date of July 14th & it is now 3:40 pm on July 14th & I know from previous orders that I will not be getting this today!
Don't waste your hard earned $ on Amazon Prime!
The delivery service is pathetic as orders don't arrive on the guaranteed delivery date!
Save your money & get free 2 day delivery from Walmart.

Amazon.ca Double-Dipping

This month I received an email towards this year's annual billing. Amazon in Jan/2021 and Jan/2022 charged me $89.27 each year for my amazon Prime Member Charge. This year Jan/2023 Amazon is now charging a whopping 25% increase = $111.87. Wait one minute here. Why are I and the rest of your customer base which is tremendously large, paying out this outrageous increase in the first place? We your customer base really don't give a damn about your reasons of free delivery to prime members nor any other reason you might try to sway us with as that is the price YOU/AMAZON should be paying out as the cost to have a business and to deliver the products ordered by your customer base. Yet you title it, "FREE DELIVERY"?! NOT! Then there is the fact that Amazon draws profit from the thousands of merchants that sell their products through your site and pay you in order to do so. In other words Amazon is 'DOUBLE-DIPPING' for profiting at both ends. Why should I or any customer pay Amazon just to shop and buy product? I don't have to pay any others like Walmart, Zellers, Tiger or any other store for that matter just to shop for their products. I might as well save the $111.87 and the outrageous increases to come and stop shopping Amazon.ca. As far as Prime Video goes for viewing a movie there is plenty of choices these days with plenty of great content that can match Amazon's Prime Video. You... Amazon... is NOT the only game in town. Amazon's DOUBLE-DIPPING is reason enough to reconsider as a viable source to shop as the DOUBLE-DIPPING is unreasonable, disrespectful, deceitful, rude and unethical if not possibly criminal. I plan to post this article in as many social media sites as possible. Who knows perhaps I can get it posted on City News sites even. How well does Amazon expect people to receive this info? How long, with all the competitive outlets out there do you think people will continue to continue using Amazon when they, your customer base, are being unjustly used in your DOUBLE-DIPPING game for profit?

You cannot speak to real people, I asked. Amazon no longer employs actual people as it's customer support, if you're using the online chat window, you're talking to a robot and CANNOT escalate to a real human being. But there's an email address if you ask enough times. I've officially cancelled my prime account, I WILL NOT deal with a company that fires real employees to force me to interact with chatAI. Shame on you Amazon.

Since leaving prime I find horrible service, returns processing apparently I'm told and I tell seller it's not received and they send me back to amazon and then they send me back to seller and back again. Sellers rude too!
I never received said refunds! I also am now finding it's much cheaper to purchase most things in stores.amazon is last resort!

No help at all from.amazon its terrible customer service. Some are very rude and others have no idea what you're even talking about. Its so frustrating and BNI they get to deliver really sucks badly they need a change like a really big change get your sh@% together amazon use to love amazon now i really don't at all 0 out of 5...

I am not happy with Amazon as they are not refunding me or delaying refund for an item which intelcom staff lost and failed to scan for refund. Sometimes one can have problems with Intecom as they do not come to deliver or pick items.

Amazon ripped me off.
December 20, 2022

I changed my delivery drop off tp the post office close to me to stop thieves from taking from the front porch. I went to pick up a delivery at post office (flex delivery) and the woman went to the back to get it. It was one of those envelopes made of bubble wrap. The package was obviously empty and even the woman, who I know, jokingly asked if I ordered a piece of paper. I took the envelope and sure enough it was obviously empty. I brought the envelope to the side counter and called Amazon Canada. The customer service reps (haha) said that what Amazon handed to the courier is what got delivered. I told her I was at the post office and they witnessed the empty package. The so called customer service person from the other side of the world went on to tell me that once Amazon passes a package to the courier, the risk of loss was on me and there would be no refund. I checked the policy and sure enough that's what it says. My mistake was that I took delivery when I brought the package to the side counted. I should have refused delivery and it would have been returned, untouched by me. The post office manager told me that earlier that day, a bubble envelope was delivered with a cut down the envelope and it was empty. I had my issue raised to an account specialist and she also stated that what was sent out was delivered. It didn't matter what I said she stayed with that argument and then brought my attention to the policy that states once the package is handed off to the courier, the risk of loss is on me. Then she rudely asked if there was anything else I needed help with, she hung up before I could answer. I called back and got hung up on.
Anyway, a happy ending... I called my credit card customer service, told them the whole story so they helped me by doing a charge back to Amazon.

Poor delivery

I ordered an bed sheet set, couldn't believe Amazon delivered it to my door without any packaging, looks like someone just took it from store's shelf then left on my door. Very disappointed.

Bad customer service

Received zero help from customer service regarding keyboard delivered non-functioning. They can't seem to deal with their third party sellers. Expect me to return a piano keyboard requiring out of pocket expenses on my part. Then wait until they get around to processing a refund.

My Amazon account was hacked 3 weeks ago and they don't give a damn. I have spoken to many Customer Service reps to no avail. At least twice I was referred to their fraud department who was supposed to call me back and I never heard from them. Tonight was the last straw. I was told my account had been dormant since 2018 - 4 years. My only option was that they forcefully close the account and I open a new one. But what happens to my Prime subscription? They will credit the Prime to a credit card I had to cancel because they "allowed" my address, phone number and password to be changed by somebody in Turkey - I'm in Canada. I have never had such terrible service.
They are happy to take my money when I buy something but the service stops there.

They do not honor Prime. What a load of BS

Ordered 10 items on Friday. All Prime items with next day delivery. Didn't receive them. Then Sunday they claim they can't get the money for some of the items but the vendors upped there rates. I had to revise my payment even tho they had taken payments. Couldn't cancel. Still don't have my items it's now Wednesday.
Monday for 2 items they claimed they couldn't get money cause they raised the prices so I had to revise payment again. They changed all the dates on my order from original purchase. Which in the end cost me more then the original total.
What's the point in paying for Prime since they don't honor it in the 1st place?
What a waste of money with Amazon and time.
I'm done with Amazon.
Sorry I have no photos to post since I still don't have the items.

In the past 2 to 3 months Amazon prime's shipping has gone from 2 to 3 days to 5 to 7 days. The only thing worse than the shipping is the customer service

Amazon should stop using Intelcom as their return pick up. They never come.
My first pick up was scheduled for 30th November. At 10pm I get a message that the driver could not make it so I should reschedule. I did and was slotted for 4th December. Same thing happened.
Both the days I was stuck in the house as no approximate time was given. Rescheduled again for today. Got a message at 8am that it'll be picked up. It's been 6 hours and no further message or phone calls.
There is no customer service/ contact available where you can talk to someone.
The only reason I chose this as Amazon has withdrawn from drop offs at Canada Post and UPS. These two facilities are in every neighborhood unlike Purolator. The closest one to my place is 10 minutes drive. Not convenient at all.
I have to rethink on ordering from Amazon now. It's more of a hassle than ease.

I purchased 2 Amazon gift cards from Shoppers Drug mart this afternoon. The $50.00 one was fine, the $100. Card the code used by the casheir did not natch the card inside. Shoppers says they can do nothing with it, to contact Amazon. The guy at Amazon as much as said to bad, so sad, and I'm out $100.
