Loyal customer for many years, was recently upgraded to vip that lasted for 2 days before having my accounts were locked and no longer permitted to purchase for no reason with no explaination. Don't waste your money with this horrible company they are over priced almost any other seller is cheaper!
Ordered the wrong roll of silver dimes and a 20 roll of silver oz coins. Canceled the dimes after realizing they were wrong. Got and email that said if they already shipped I will have to through the return process. Today I got an email days later that says sorry already shipped and all sales are final! No refunds? Never again hope it was worth all the bad reviews.
Cancelled order (for 2nd time) over a week ago, and have been told on 3 different dates that the refund was sent out (8/31,9/1, and 9/5) and have yet to receive. Customer service has not been helpful in any way.
I have ordered from APMEX since 2011 and until now I have never had a problem. Some of my orders were large sums of money and I have spent 250k with them - see attachment. I tell you that so that you know how much I trusted the company. I have even sold them product without any issues. But now, they just screwed me out of an $8200 order. I never got my order (*******) – and nobody from the company spoke to me about the order. I am sickened at the thought of losing $8.200 dollars.
My order was sent by APMEX via USPS. I got an email while I was at work saying that my package was delivered and I had signed for it. Imagine my surprise… I thought it must be an error. When I got home that night there was no package, so next I downloaded the captured signature from the USPS tracking and of course it was not mine. It was evening so I immediately contacted APMEX via email.
I then went to the PO and spoke to the branch manager named in West allis, Wisconsin – her name was Melanie. I told her I did not sign for the package and it was worth a lot of money. She said the carrier signed for it.
Apmex made me fill out a police report even though I had no idea if a package was delivered or not. Then in an email they denied the claim. I NEVER RECEIVED MY PACKAGE. And in case you ask…. I Paid with an electronic check. Never pay them in advance. Use a credit card because if they screwed me they will screw you. Nobody even spoke to me, all was done with email.

Our investigation in conjunction with the United States Postal Service, along with that of our insurer, has been completed and by all indications APMEX Order # ******* was delivered accurately according GPS data and carrier investigation confirmed delivery procedure was followed.
Please check with any other individuals at your multi-family home may have been on the property at the time to see if they accepted the package Size: 9" X 5" X 3".
For these reasons, we are notifying you that that your claim has been denied.

Since the loss of the package I made about 6k worth of orders from APMEX. I never lost any sleep over this because I just knew they would make it right. That is what insurance is for right?
For starters—it misspelled the word "status" as "staus" on all of my order entries in my account. Lol. And after five emails, two calls, and a chat session, it still can't perform the simple task of updating payment information and processing an order. My favorite response was from its second—or maybe third— email explaining that the CSR I had just spoken with and who assured me that my order was being processed and would ship this Tuesday didn't really know what she was talking about and that I needed to call back. Not that the second person was any more competent when I did. I wouldn't do anymore business with these people under any circumstances.
I place an order on 4/24/2022. The package was "insured with the request of signature".
Company Version 1 -> "Our investigation in conjunction with the United States Postal Service, along with that of our insurer, has been completed… "package" was picked up directly at the counter with the postal clerk" 05/09/2022.
Contradictory, On 5/19/2021 – Via email, Apmex "Request for Confirmation of Delivery", which was answered immediately as PACKAGE WAS NOT RECEIVED". The company requested until the 20th to receive package "since were 10 days of delivery".
I decided to wait until the 23rd, via call and chat I place to request a delivery, the company indicated: "the claim would be sent by email, it could take 24-48 hours for delivery". The delivery was not received either.
Company Version 2 -> "The USPS reported to our claims team that the package was picked up and signed for. Our insurance covers the item during shipment but not after delivery of the item". Once the delivery arrives at a destination either a home mailing address, business, or post office and is signed for, the item is no longer covered by our insurance".
I replied the package was not received, was NOT insured NOR requested for signature. If you have that evidence, please provide it. If you have a problem with your courier, please do resolve your issues with them. Fulfill the order.
Apmex did not confirm delivery nor a signature confirmation as they claim in their policy or in their version of handling the package. The BBB understood the company "had made a good effort to resolve the claim".
This company has Failed to deliver and demonstrated complete misrepresentation of its "policies".
I needed to sell a coin fast, searched local dealers as I am new to this area and they came up. When I called they were helpful and gave me a price, which was below what the market sale would be for this type of coin, but out of desperation I agreed. They send you a UPS label for one or two day, I opted for one day. Well from the time I dropped in the UPS, I have had to track it. This was a Wednesday, it is now one week later, Wednesday and they have not paid on it yet. If I had known that it would take this long, I could have actually found a local dealer, in fact I have now but it is too late. I am at the mercy of the accounting department who says they will send it at 5PM. What good does that do, I have to wait another day. Beware anytime you invest in gold and silver or sell long distance. This is not my first rodeo but it has been the worst experience.
I received my 1oz Paladium Lady Fortuna in an old package with faded numbers. Feels like maybe they sent me a fake or a returned item, certainly not what I ordered and paid for. Waiting for a response from APMEX, I called and asked for a call back to address the issue and so far no call back! Even if they correct the. Problem I simply don't trust them and suggest others check orders carefully.

I purchased a gold chain and 2 bezels from this company. One of the bezels was broken on receipt. Because I did not notice within 7 days, the company refused to refund or exchange the piece.
On top of that, when I first emailed support, they did not respond at all. I finally called, and the support person said that they didn't exchange, but she would look into it and contact me back. She never did. It was just a brush off.
My feeling is that it is close to FRAUD to send a broken piece and refuse to exchange it unless it is noticed within 7 days.
I ordered 11 1964 mint sets. I received 10 1964 mint sets and one 1968 mint set. Apmex did send me instructions as to how I could return the 1968 mint set and receive the 1964 mint set as ordered. The procedure I had to follow involved multiple steps including specific return instructions and returning it in person to the post office. I was told to monitor the return process daily. Their instructions would have required several hours of work on my part. I found this not to be worth my time and so Apmex did not fix their mistake.
EXCELLENT COMPANY- LOVE DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM. I am impressed with the customer service they solved my query within 1 working day.
I WAS an established customer, using same credit card. I cancelled an order of $21,000 due to APMEX demanding a proof of identity (holding my drivers license next to my face, front and back of drivers license and credit card). How insane! It's been 5 days and they have not released my Pending charge on my credit card after multiple emails and phone calls to do so! This is tying up my funds on my credit card! AX said the problem was them, they must release the charge! DO NOT waste your time or money with this company!
I am a former customer of Apmex. They used to be a good company. I bought a bunch of gold in the 2014-2016 time frame from them. Most recently, i bought all of my gold from elsewhere as Apmex had the highest premiums of everyone online. I had no intention of leaving a negative review until I recieved an offer via snail mail for $50 off. Now, i am inclined to alert anyone and everyone of these scam artists. It's one thing to charge 2x-3x the premium of everyone else in the industry. It's another to send a "coupon" by snail mail. THAT is disingenuous! THAT is wrong. PERIOD!
They sent my silver coins quickly which is rare when others are taking weeks to deliver in light of the silver shortages I've been reading about. A little pricey but I'm pleased with the nice stack I've put together.
Only one out of their mind would purchase anything from this company APMEX. Their Supervisor John Nguyen is extremely rude, his associates have zero customer service skills, hang up on you and make you wait longer and longer when they recognize your number. I have reported them to the FTC. I also have not received the silver that I purchased from them. John, with the chip on his shoulder, will not let you speak, will keep demeaning you by speaking over your voice. Complaints have zero tolerance from this company, they won't hear them. Bought a kilo of silver and it is nowhere in sight, no tracking, nothing. I told them I would prefer they request a call back on the package and they resend it via UPS OR refund me but this rude person said No. Is this the customer service we have in the USA? Is this acceptable to most people? I recommend purchasing from the US Gold Bureau or any other mint than from this third class seller. ZERO Stars.
This is my 1st order with APMEX and was a bit skeptical + concerned at first so I paid via Paypal in case something went wrong. It took 8 days from the time I placed an order to receiving it. It was packed safely HOWEVER< please note that they ship via USPS First Class Mail so buy cautiously, unless you pay more for shipping service (but I can't review on other shipping option). I read similar reviews about 1st class mail so I made sure that I picked up the package right after USPS delivery person dropped it off in my mailbox. Their price is slightly higher than other competitors so shop around and compare.
All product have been perfect for me. Premium a bit high for me but I use Apmex when I absolutely must have a perfect product for example, American Silver Eagles. My go to for these.
I am new to the industry, but have made several purchases. Apmex definitely leads in inventory content and web design.
Have bought quite a lot from this seller! In fact, it was my very first purchase out of US mint that sucks me to become obsessed with buying bullions!
