Basically any "sale" items are not refundable. I have previously been appreciative of their design, but after my last experience of online shopping (only because the items were unavailable in store), which included a very marginally discounted "non-returnable" item and wasted shipping fees, I am sure I will not be shopping at Aritzia ever again. Luckily, there are so many clothing stores now! No need to be back to a condescending, non-accommodating customer service.
I purchased a TNA parka from Aritzia 3 years ago. Cost about $400. Recently the zipper on the jacket broke. The top piece just cracked and now I can't zip it up. How useful is a winter jacket you can't zip up? I reached out to Aritzia and after spending time providing them with all kinds of information, I was told there is nothing they could do and that they don't offer zipper repairs. Not only are they totally useless but they also wasted my time. For the price I would have expected more.
I was on hold for no more than 15 seconds, they gave incredibly helpful information on the care and washing of the garments with an honest opinion, very polite on the phone and show they care about your purchase!
They will make it a living hell if you are trying to return something. I bought sale stuff from them online, total of $40 and they returned it back on my mastercard at the store. A month later, I bought stuff totalling over $300 and this time they very conveniently informed me that they dont give out full refunds for sales stuff and I had to take everything on gift card. RIDICULOUS.
The return policy is awful. Returns can be made 14 days after SHIPMENT. Which means if you received your item after those 14 days, guess what, you can't return it! Also, sale items are non refundable, however they do not indicate that items are final sale. There are better brands out there that stand by their product and offer fantastic customer service. It's a shame that Aritzia is Canadian!
THEY simply do not know how to ship internationally. Revolve does a much better job. My order was placed at the end of june, the estimated delivery date is july 13th, and now we are sitting at august the 3rd, the customer service just told me that they are still "waiting on the external delivery team to respond and will then investigate on the order". Just give my money back. Failed your customers, good luck with your ecommerce department.
2 weeks ago, the sales wanted me to order a dress, told me even it was a sale item I could still be had 10 days to exchange. Today I went and wanted the exchange, the sales show me damn face. When I told the manager about it, she told me her employee did a good job and exchanged for me. I was not talking about money or exchange, I was talking about attitude and the way they deal with the customers. Aritza is a big company, I am sure they will ignore this. No more Artiza shxt anymore.
I wanted a jacket I saw in store but it was missing the belt so the sales associate offered to order me one into the store and that it would take about 5-7days. I got the e-mail that the jacket had arrived, just in time for the wedding I was hoping to wear it at! BUT it was the wrong size... The sales associate apologized and said she could order it again but it would be another 5-7 days. It was cutting it close but I agreed. After 7 business days I had not received an e-mail so I just went into the store to check on the whereabouts my purchase was. The sale associate was rude and condescending towards me, saying it was going to be 7-10 days because it was coming from Toronto. I went back again after 10 days and still no e-mail and still no jacket. At this time I e-mailed the Costumer Care and explained the situation. I got a quick response back and I gave them my order number but then no response. I e-mailed Costumer Care again 5 days later and got a new worker on my case. She could not locate my purchase in transit... She then refunded me the jacket so that I could REBUY the jacket through her. This has been a month long ordeal and I still have to pay full price for the product? She cancels my previous order and says I'll have to wait 2 business days for the shipping. After our conversation I get a confirmation e-mail that my jacket has arrived in store. I go to the store to see if I can get the jacket in my hands day of and the sale associate says, "No sorry, I got a call through Costumer Care that you were refunded and you need to work with them now". I'm so pissed. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with Aritizia and I will not be shopping with them in future. After a situation like this I should be receiving a full refund and the original product I had TRIED to buy. Horrible costumer service.
No matter you return an item at a store or send it back, they still charge you shipping fee. Ridiculous.
I had bought a $200 parka around 2 or 3 years back and its zipper broke and when I contacted them, they said it may have broken due to wear and tear! If there's one thing that shouldn't go bad in a coat, its the zipper. I told them that the parka is in perfect condition but obviously the company doesnot care for its customers.
I have coats from 10 -12 years from other brands where the down has completely withered but zipper is intact. Really disappointed with service. Definitely NEVER buying another product from them.
Didn't have a good experience with the Aritzia in Victoria staff. Not going to go back to that store again.
Beware and stay away from this company. Returning sale/reduced items results in store credit only. Calling customer service was a waste of time. They don't care. They state the store return policy is stated clearly. Only problem is you need a magnifying glass to read. Also, clothes are way overpriced and quality stinks. IF you do buy something for full price and don't like it, RUN to the store to return it because full refund ends within 2 weeks of purchase. RIP OFF STORE
I ordered a sale item online. I had no idea that if you return a sale item that all you can get is a store credit. I returned the item and hadn't heard anything for weeks so I called to check on the status. They said they received my return and had emailed me an online credit. I didn't understand why, but was told that they can't credit your original payment on sale items. Fine, even though I wanted my money back I would have accepted the credit but I had not received it. I verified my email address, spelling it out for them and they said that it was correct and I should have the credit. They say they will resend it. I never got it, and called 3 more times over the next few weeks. Finally when I said I'm done and I just want my money back she verifies that they have the correct email address, which they do not. They were spelling my name wrong the whole time even though my name was correct for billing and shipping. I finally received my store credit but I'm not ever going to use it because of my unhappiness with this whole experience, I still want my money back.
I really love my 2 purchases from Aritzia. It is a little on the pricey side for basic clothing but the quality is great so it's kinda worth spending a little extra for it. I bought 2 sweaters and both fit/ look amazing on. Very happy with my purchase.
So disappointed. I have shopped in their stores since they opened. I now buy 80% of my clothes online. I have done one order with Aritzia because I couldn't find the items I wanted in store.
Slowest delivery ever - and I live in a big city! Worst returns service ever. Still no credit or refund. I genuinely wanted to use the credit I was getting towards another item. Had to email them and they said that it's being processed. Another 5 days later check my credit card, nothing. Then receive an automated email about packaging my return for one of TWO items which were already sent back weeks ago?! And no email from a customer service rep.
If I ever get my refund I'm not doing another order. Ever.
I hate that they refund as store credit instead of direct to bank. Price high, quality okay. Oh, I always buy online, customer service in store is always very rude, felt like walked in a crowed of high school girls who are all just too popular. However, customer service on the phone is awesome.
Aritzia is well known for their high prices and average quality clothes - but when I went to buy a simple t-shirt, I gave them a $100 bill because that was all I had. They gave me change as if I had paid with a $50 bill, I went back to confront them about this error and they stated that there was nothing they could do. Safe to say I am never going back there again.
I am truly astonished on my experience with this company, in short it was fantastic. I'm always very careful when i do online shopping and I've shopped in the store Aritzia but had never really bought tons of items at once (part of it due to the price but whatever.) Anyways since summer was approaching and the semi annual sale was going I went ahead and bought a large sum of clothing, but being the nervous person i am about ordering on line i was very careful with handling everything, anyways to my surprise all my items came two days later on my front step with all the right sizes and colours, and it truly blew me away, i WILL be ordering so much more from this site... (also i've noticed the quality with the clothing is through the roof :) ) Probably one of my best experiences of shopping on line.

Aritzia is a Canadian clothing company that sells its own brands as well as other ones. They recently opened physical locations in the US. I was on the hunt for non synthetic scarves that weren't too stuffy (and though Nordstrom is a good resource, they have a certain style that I wanted to deviate from). I liked that Aritzia's wilfred brand has a lot of thick, sturdy wool scarves that I was used to (as a true Canadian). So I ordered three scarves that were on sale and waited excitedly for my items to arrive - until I noticed in their confusing shipping/returns policy that ON SALE ITEMS are final! This was after the time within which their customer service operates to cancel the order. I frantically email them and get an auto reply that due to a high volume of sales replies may take longer than their usual time period. So I call them up the next day and to my relief, the SA sympathizes with me and tells me to call back once the items arrive and quote her name saying that I am allowed a one time courtesy return. When my stuff arrives, I decide to return part of the order and I call back asking for the same SA. Someone else answers and tells me she's away but processes my return to my relief though s/he sounded slightly reluctant. I pack my return but forget to put the invoice in, because I wanted to remind myself that I had to keep track of whether or not funds were returned so I called again and they assured me it was fine. Everything turned out fine, but please read their shipping and returns policy! Currently, returns are only allowed as STORE CREDIT and within 14 days. They offer a free shipping above $50, but otherwise it's $8 and returns will cost you an $8 deduction with possibly a deduction on initial shipment costs (aka $16 if I read that right). I find all of this too annoying to deal with since I don't live near a location (though I don't recall if you can return online orders in store) so unless you're exactly sure what you want or you love something they carry, read everything carefully!

Answer: Aritzia is taking advantage of their young, targeted audience by not offering proper customer service to a generation that is likely to sit down and take the abuse, rather than fighting back and getting what they deserve. They have a return policy of only ten days, which is an outlier amongst Canadian companies. In ten days, a product likely won't be delivered if purchased online, so the return period is lost before the product even reaches its buyer. I'm leaving this review in hopes of spreading awareness of Aritzias poor customer service and the impossibility to return products to Aritzia.
