I find AVS programs really interesting for processing my home made videos. I love wide choice of effects and text precets. Also I use it to burn projects on DVD and writing audio CDs.
This company is fraudulent.
They tempted me with an offer of $59 for lifetime licence to their suite of video editing software.
They then went ahead and debited my account twice, claiming I had ordered twice. Why would I want 2 licences? In any case, they only sent one access code.
I contacted them to unravel what I assumed was a mistake. However, they refused to co-operate, and instead hid behind a fly-by-night intermediary (Avangate BV), who repeatedly divested themselves of responsibility by referring me back to AVS4you.
They have not only stolen my money, but now wasted copious amounts of my time.
The video converter program does not do sound properly, landscape mode is impossible, and it has left damaging code on my computer when I deleted it.
A waste of £42. Avoid.

I have tried every way I can think of to use AVS4YOU programs to make a DVD from my HD camcorder videos. And I mean EVERY way. The discs always stutter, pixelate, stop, and any other problem there is.
After wasting 30 discs yesterday, which is not the first time I came up with a pile of coasters, I started looking for something else. I found Cyberlink PowerDirector13.
Sorry AVS4YOU. I've had enough, and I've really tried to make it work for 4 years.

There was no mention that their software would only work on one computer when I bought it years ago, and now that I have a new computer, they refuse to migrate it to where I want it. They're only "offer" was to try to sell me more software! I don't need the same software on more than one machine, and I refuse to be blackmailed into giving them another dime for what I've already bought! FRAUD! FRAUD! FRAUD! STAY AWAY!

I dunno about telling the whole world, but there are some who would be interested in the site.
I installed AVS4YOU some four years ago. All programs I downloaded worked perfectly, and continue to work, despite the fact that I fiddle and tweak programs constantly, tending to mess up my computer. For no extra fees, I have downloaded additional AVS programs from time to time, always with good results.
It would be hard to beat the trial periods AVS allows.
AVS is tops in my book.
Stay away from this site if you trreasure your sanity, let alone pc... It and its aliases playit player, allplay, etc! Will afect your pc and leave your system with wrong extensions if you try to remove it.
