I really don't know what everyones problem is, the reviews on this store were so bad I almost didn't make the order, but they were the only shop in the US to have all 5 of the collection of brick building sets I've been wanting so I gave it a shot. Shipped out quickly and made it to me with no issues, only 2 days after the original delivery estimate which is fine by me. I'm a super happy customer! People always wanna be unsatisfied but this shop is definitely trustworthy and I will continue to get the sets for my collection from them! If it's such a big deal to you then don't do preorders (main complaint I've seen), just buy what you want when it's in stock and call it a day, you'll get it much quicker :) don't tear down companies that actually are good so we can keep them around, thanks BBTS!
Toys are WAYYYYY smaller than advertised and of lesser quality. I got several Robotech toys and it was clear the quality and size made them worth 1/3 the cost they were charging.
I bought toys in October 21 for Xmas of the same year, turns out they weren't available. When I contacted them they told me they were having supply chain issues and that they will update me when the toys would be available. Except they never did until they shipped and charged my account without notice. Also their pile of loot is a complete scam. I ordered both toys the same day but apparently one was placed in the pile when made available then it instantly expired and got shipped while the second one was listed as a pre-order, but guess what, the second toy got suddenly added to the pile as soon as the first one shipped so I paid for shipping twice, again with zero notice before hand that my account would be charged. Worst experience ever.
I have been using Bigbadtoystore for years. I have never had a problem with them. Any issues are handled fast and to the best of their ability. Packages arrive with item safety in mind. I will continue to use them for as long as I can. Thank you bigbad for always going above and beyond.

Except when DHL is used!
Every time they have sent my order through DHL it takes almost a week or more longer to arrive.
This past recent time I placed an order on 11-8-22.
We are now at 11-19-22.
The order was not sent out till 11-11-22, fine.
Butb once DHL WI got it, it stayed nearly a week in Wisconsin with DHL.
Did not move till 11-16/17-22 where it arrived at DHL Houston.
It is 11-19-22 and it's still sitting in Houston!
In hopes that they see this...
STOP USING DHL!
Fed Ex works so much quicker.
After understanding that I was never going to receive the statue I ordered. I canceled the order, to see if I could recoup some of my money based off their policies. After some research into my inquiries about this issue, they actually refunded the full amount.
I would give 0 stars if I could. Have been waiting on a batman/joker sculpture gift for over a year. Didn't mind that it was going to be super late but this is just negligence. The shipment window keeps changing, yet no email notification of the delays ever. They keep the 20% of your hard earned covid cash, by forcing you to cancel and making a no refund policy. Even when they are the slack ones. I'm pretty sure they don't even have it in stock to keep changing that date. They just don't want to refund the money.
I wanted for months to purchase the Griffin Legion from Lucifer brand, it was pretty difficult to find one on internet without being a pre order, but I finally found on BBTS.
I was worry because the figure only had professional pictures and nothing how the product will looks like.
Except there's few pictures of a ''B-grade'' of this figure.
By B-grade, I am talking about a slight different pose, wings, ears, detals, colors. You'll see on my pictures between the professional pictures and my figure
The shipping was okay and pretty fast from USA to Europe, nothing was broke but I was pretty disappointed that the figure is not like on professional pictures but the ''B-grade'' one.
I was a little expecting because I did a lot of research. I contacted the store few months before purchase to ask for the product pictures (not the professional ones) and they didn't wanted to show me.
I read a lot of reviews before purchase it but I am pretty glad it's not worse than that.

My 4yr old nephew loves Godzilla, but I couldn't find unique toys at a decent price and stumbled across bigbadtoystore as my nephew found the Hedorah/Godzilla toy he had to have. It was a pre order so I went ahead and placed my order. This was back in August, October came and my nephews birthday coming up quick in November so I thought I would reach out to find out about the preorder, I didn't think I would get a response as most people say it comes when it comes nothing we can do about it, but their representative Kellen was attentive, informative and above all else courteous to my question. Item is now in shipment and going to make it before his birthday. This kid remembers everything, thank you bigbadtoystore for making his birthday a special one <3
Brought a Nier figure recently as a first-time customer of BBTS from Canada. Didn't get ship after payment, called in after a couple of days to get a status update. Turns out package too big for DHL International, and customer service manager changed to FedEx Internation and waived the additional fees. Package arrived about 2 weeks after ordered date in good conditions. WIll shop again given the opportunity.
Instead of items displaying as "SOLD OUT/BACKORDER" for example, the website is set up that when "IN STOCK" items sell out, the product page and listing automatically changes from "IN STOCK" to "PRE-ORDER" for every item on the site, regardless of whether or not the product can actually be ordered/sourced on their end again or not. You can see this with the numerous Funko Pops for example on the site all displaying "PRE-ORDER" although the pop was released a number of years ago and now vaulted (no longer manufactured/sold). This is why so so many people complain about pre-orders being cancelled on this online store, because it's only once enough people "pre-order" actual sold out and unavailable items like these and the site cancels their orders that the people running the site then go ahead and remove the product from the website. It's deceitful and lazy online inventory management.
I have made many pre orders with them. When I purchased the pre-order, the money for that amount is taken immediately when I confirm the order, three of my pre-orders I did last year, are now canceled because there's no money, even I checked my account and confirm that it was purchased on that day I confirm pre-order. Is anyone else having problems with that too. Also the customer service is dog$#*!.
Ive been buying from them since launch amd iv slowed down tremendously over the pass 5 years. I decided a few months ago to try again. 1: FEDEX IS HORRIBLE AND UNRELIABLE! And if something goes wrong and fedex covering its own butt say it was delivered when it was not and yes it has happened BBTS will not help. Also really 1 week to ship which s BS. They say delivered but just prints a kable out and your order sits for a few more days and then another week for fedex to hopefully do there job. Emails go. Owhefe and they have an excuse for everything. Wow my once beloved site for buying Collectibles is horrible now. Yes big selections but terrible service and reliability. Its when they feel. Like it.
I have done business with BBTS in the past, from ordering Japanese Transformers reissues to recently, a Pac-Man model kit. And every time, they have proven deliver. Their packaging in my case is good, as they take great care to add stuff like bubble wrapping for more fragile stuff, and even sending me an e-mail to tell me when they are processing orders and shipping. The only thing I can warn about is pre-ordering, as they will not take payment until the item arrive at their warehouse. Also, some products will be restricted to the point of not being allowed to sell to orders outside a certain country, so that is another thing to keep in mind when buying toys that are new releases or pre-orders. So be aware when ordering or pre-ordering from this website.
After moving to a new house they suspended my account due to "suspicious activity". Reached out to customer service was told i had to talk to the payment team. The payment team never got in contact with me after. So i opened a new account only for the same thing to happen again. Still have not been contacted by the payment team and customer service has done little to nothing to help resolve this issue. After being a continuous customer for 5 years this is a major slap in the face. Would recommend entertainmentearth over bbts any day.
When I purchase a collectable from an online store I fully expect that company to upright and forward with their product description, like the way Entertainment Earth is. I ordered a Jada Toys 1/32 collectable and the clear package cellophane had a major crease in it and was not acceptable at all to me. I called and was credited my purchase to make another purchase. I made the other purchase and the item came in damaged in the same spot as the first one. This is completely unacceptable and negligent on their part. If you want to sell damaged good then say its damaged. Don't blindly box them up when YOU KNOW its damaged. Whoever packs this stuff and thinks that ANY defect is OK is out of their mind and should NOT work for a collectable shop. They clearly don't care what garbage they send
Some of my items arrived damaged, they were packaged well by BBTS, but flawed from the manufacturers side. I emailed them and got a fast reply with an offer for a full refund or store credit. Overall a great experience, I appreciate them resolving the issue so quickly and smoothly. I would shop with them again.
They are now one of my favorite places to purchase my collectibles. I cant wait to continue doing business with them
They have flat rate shipping with FedEx and if you switched addresses or have to reroute it, both FedEx and the company will not do anything to reroute or stop the shipping. And they will not refund it either. It's not worth the $5 you pay for flat rate and they don't disclose this with shipping options regardless of what other options you have. Like how would you know the differences of each option if they didn't specify. So if you ordered from them and you need to change address. You won't get your package anymore unless it gets somehow returned to them. Nor a refund.
Also their customer support service is very rude. Not worth calling since they can't even assist you in a nice way.
As a FIRST time Customer I placed an order May 19th and I STILL have not received my order and it is now June 2nd and I contacted Big Bad Toy Store and NOTHING has been resolved. They are absolutely HORRILE of a Company and they wont even refund me back!. IF YOU DO NOT WANT A HEADACHE THEN I'D STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND ORDER ELSEWHERE!.
